As the boat continued forward, everyone's eyes beca increasingly determined.
One after another, they walked to the bow and stood beside Ron, waiting for the boat to dock so they could bring back Erza and Happy.
Ron stood with his hands behind his back, his eyes squinting slightly.
Light flickered in his azure left eye, and countless intricate runes swirled frantically deep within his pupil.
Buzz—
In an instant, the towering structure before him shed its outward appearance, transforming into countless intersecting and extrely complex magic circuits.
This was a massive magic array that could be called a work of art!
'The R-System... Resurrection magic...'
Ron lightly tapped his thigh with his fingertips, unable to help but feel admiration in his heart.
'It truly is a perfect magic system, altering concepts through the injection of massive amounts of magic power to swap the boundaries of life and death...'
'Zeref, truly a genius cursed by the gods. Even across several hundred years, this talent still makes one tremble. No wonder the Council wouldn't hesitate to use Etherion to destroy this place.'
While Ron was imrsed in his appreciation of the R-System.
"Who's there?!"
A sharp shout broke the silence.
A fully ard patrol discovered the small boat that was charging straight ahead without any concealnt.
"We're here!"
Feeling the abundant magic power that had recovered within his body after a night's ti.
The corners of Ron's mouth slowly curled up, revealing a mouthful of white teeth.
"Let's start with a greeting, to let Jellal know we've arrived!"
He raised his right hand and pointed his fingers like a sword. At the tips of his fingers, a trace of blue-white lightning condensed, rapidly tracing several profound paths in the void.
Buzz—!
A massive blue-purple magic array appeared out of thin air above everyone's heads.
As the runes flowed, the phantom image of a tiger, walking on clouds and howling at the sky, took shape.
The guards on the shore widened their eyes, looking in horror at the ferocious beast above them.
"Wha... what is... that?!"
Ron's eyes were indifferent as he flicked his fingertips downward.
"This is Tiger's Roar: Thunderclap!"
"Jade Tiger's Roar: Heavenly Drum!!!"
The next second.
The magic array exploded.
Roar—!!!
There were no falling lightning bolts as expected. Instead, it was a dull tiger's roar capable of shattering the soul.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
Deafening thunder exploded in the ears of hundreds of guards.
They didn't even have ti to scream before their brains felt as if they had been run over by a speeding train, instantly going blank.
As the saying goes, clouds follow the dragon, and wind follows the tiger.
After the sound waves, a violent hurricane swept across the field.
The hundred-man patrol, which had been ready for battle, fell over like fragile wheat, foaming at the mouth with their eyes rolling back.
One strike!
The hundred-man patrol was completely wiped out!
"So... so powerful!"
On the boat, Juvia covered her ears, her mouth hanging open in shock as she looked at the cleared coastline.
"You guy, you call that a greeting?" Gray swallowed hard.
With the battle horn sounded by Ron, Natsu took the lead and charged directly into the tower, with Gray not to be outdone, following closely behind.
"Get out of the way!!"
"Don't block the path!!"
The two were like beasts out of a cage, showing no rcy to the enemies rushing out of the tower, taking them down with one punch each.
No one could stop their progress.
"Let's go too."
Looking at the two vanguards who were sweeping through everything, Ron smiled and followed unhurriedly with Lucy and Juvia, as if taking a stroll.
From ti to ti, he would point his finger into the air, easily dealing with a few stragglers who tried to launch a sneak attack.
"Jellal, get out here!!!"
Natsu shouted at the top of his lungs while tearing things apart, his voice echoing through the empty tower... Top floor of the Tower of Heaven.
Jellal had discovered them as soon as Ron gave his greeting.
After all, with such a big commotion, it would be hard not to notice.
Feeling the tiger's roar storm from earlier, Jellal's brow furrowed, and a crack finally appeared on his indifferent face.
"How can this be... completely unscathed?"
When Vidaldus reported, he had thought Ron would win, but at least he should have paid a significant price.
But now... for a mont, Jellal felt that the developnt of things seed to be slipping out of his control.
"Hmph, so what if he hasn't been exhausted?"
He quickly adjusted, slowly clenching his fist, a cold arc curling at the corners of his mouth.
"I am not a piece of trash like Jose."
"Hehehe..."
Suddenly, he laughed softly, "Truly interesting, Erza, it's absolutely fascinating."
"In this ga concerning life and death, connecting the past and the future, will the final winner be , or you, Erza? I'm really looking forward to it."
"Lord Jellal."
Vidaldus looked at Jellal in confusion.
"The guards below can't stop them at all. Is it really okay to just let them run wild like this?"
"Didn't I say? This is a ga, so naturally, there must be a walkthrough process. Defeating the guards below simply ans they've cleared a level, nothing more."
Jellal rested his chin on one hand, his eyes shining with a light called amusent.
"If they couldn't even get through the front gate, then this festival would be too boring. Now, things are becoming more and more interesting, aren't they?"
"But... if we don't proceed with the ritual quickly... the Council's side..."
"Are you worried about that, Vidaldus?"
Jellal looked up, his expression calm, "It can't be stopped anymore."
"Whether it's those pedantic fools in the Council, or Erza struggling desperately, or even that Heterochromatic Ron..."
"The gears of fate have already begun to turn, and no one can stop them."
Hearing Jellal's confident words, Vidaldus raised another question.
"If we don't stop them, they'll soon fight their way up. That will interfere with the ritual, won't it?"
"Gas are only fun this way, full of variables and excitent."
Jellal looked at Vidaldus, "Now, you guys head out."
"I understand."
Vidaldus's body distorted, and his image and temperant changed instantly.
Dressed in rock-and-roll attire, with terrifying heavy makeup on his face, an electric guitar appeared in his hands.
At the sa ti, two other figures appeared beside him.
Death's Head Caucus, an assassination guild that specializes in assassination requests, and its special guerrilla unit is the Trinity Raven!
During the Cabria War years ago, the Trinity Raven beca famous in a single battle by assassinating all the Western officers.
Besides Vidaldus Taka, who transford into a guitarist.
There was also Fukuro, a man with a burly build and an owl-like head, with two rocket boosters on his back.
And their captain, a beautiful swordswoman in a pink kimono with cherry-blossom-colored long hair, Ikaruga.
"Since it is Lord Jellal's command, then we shall naturally provide our guests with a proper reception."
Ikaruga lightly covered the corner of her mouth, her voice soft and pleasant.
With the departure of the Trinity Raven, the ga officially began.
Jellal walked to the chessboard on the stone table, like a mastermind using people as chess pieces, placing cartoon character pieces onto the board one by one.
The next mont, his voice rang out within the tower.
"Everyone, welco to the Tower of Heaven!"
Hearing this voice, everyone stopped in their tracks.
"I am Jellal, the ruler of this tower. The chess pieces for both sides have been gathered; it's about ti to begin... this Ga of Heaven!"
"This is a ga?!" Natsu looked up toward the source of the voice, "Hey, Jellal, where are you!!"
"The rules are simple. I will use Erza as a sacrifice to perform the ritual to resurrect Zeref. In other words, if the door to Paradise is opened, I win."
"If you can prevent this from happening, it will be your victory."
"Of course... it wouldn't be fun if it were just that, so I've also arranged three warriors on my side. If you don't break through them, you won't be able to reach ."
"This will be a battle of six against eight!"
"And one last thing..."
After a pause, Jellal's voice beca low.
"The Council may attack this place using a satellite magic array, an ultimate destructive magic that can destroy everything..."
"Etherion!!!"
Ron's heterochromatic eyes narrowed slightly, flashing with a mysterious light.
"Finally... is it about to begin?"
