Chapter 302: 【302】dical students must have reverence for life Chapter 302: 【302】dical students must have reverence for life “Not afraid, huh?” Tan Kelin’s lips curled slightly, then he suddenly said, “Do you want to unveil the white cloth and let you see the person’s face?”

The instant he spoke, Xie Wanying’s hand holding the syringe needle shivered uncontrollably.

Her gaze slowly lifted from where she had been looking down and settled on the white cloth covering the corpse.

Impossible, she was sure of it, that patient was alive last night. If they had actually died, Luo Yanfen would have told her already.

Turning back, she saw sothing that seed like a line written in Teacher Tan’s cold eyes.

Her hand trembled.

“You can feel fear too? Are you thinking it might be the patient from last night?” As his gaze caught her trembling fingertips, the smirk on Tan Kelin’s lips grew more pronounced, and he crossed his arms over his chest.

He had originally thought she feared nothing, that she truly had beco a cold-blooded creature.

Because he told her to perform the puncture, she obediently did so, her overly calm deanor didn’t seem human at all. A normal, healthy person would always have monts of fear. If she truly feared nothing, she might not be suited to be a doctor.

Doctors should feel fear towards life, have a profound respect for dical science.

People whose minds and psychological states aren’t healthy shouldn’t be doctors. He would have to take her to the neurology departnt for a brain check.

Luckily, she had finally shown fear?

A low chuckle, or a snort, escaped lightly from his nostrils, and his single-lidded eyes looked at her with less of the iciness of before.

Xie Wanying bowed her head slightly, her intuition telling her not to look. When it ca to wrenching the hearts of dical students, her ntor was unmatched; she renewed her respect for the person who had arranged such a profound ntor for her.

“How about I slowly lift the white cloth and let you take a peek?” said Tan Kelin, his gloved fingers reaching toward the white cloth covering the corpse’s face.

Drawing a sharp breath, Xie Wanying was certain: Teacher ant that this patient was soone she knew.

Indeed, since Teacher Tan was not one to let her go easily, how could he possibly have her here just to perform a puncture? There surely was a significant lesson waiting for her.

The fingertips wrapped in sterile gloves were like a scalpel, slowly edging up the white cloth at the bottom edge, revealing a small part of the corpse’s chin. This scene was like the horror movie character Sadako climbing out of the well, the slower it went, the more screams echoed within the viewer’s heart.

Her breaths were ragged, Xie Wanying could swear she heard her own lungs pulling the cold air of the dissection room, sending chills all over her body. As her fast-acting brain had already connected this small piece of chin to a patient she had seen before, issuing her a grave warning, ringing like alarm bells in her head.

“Teacher, I understand what you an,” Xie Wanying imdiately responded, following her brain’s reaction.

Tan Kelin’s finger paused, not moving away imdiately, then he asked her, “Are you scared?”

“Yes, Teacher, I am scared. I’m afraid that the patient is beyond saving,” Xie Wanying replied quickly, fearful that the teacher might fully unveil it any mont.

“Kneel,” she continued to “kneel.” In this situation, the faster one “kneels,” the better, and definitely not wrong. After re-confirming the information her brain was feeding her, without delay, she admitted to “kneeling.”

Xie Wanying’s head hung very low, at that mont preferring to feign surrender.

Her drooping head like that of a little ostrich, prompted another great surprise in him. This student was clever to such a degree, a shade of dark blue tinted Tan Kelin’s eyes. He had never before seen this attitude from her, causing his breath to grow agitated, making him feel like throwing down the white cloth.
