“People at the school say it was he who recomnded her file. If they don’t know each other, how could he have recomnded her file?” Ren Chongda voiced his suspicion.
“You make it sound like I’m giving soone backdoor privileges,” Cao Yong clearly didn’t appreciate that comnt, stating bluntly, “The school normally raises files based on the order of the scores. She was the top science student with the best grades, why wouldn’t her file be raised?”
“But she’s a girl. You recomnded her for surgery?” Ren Chongda expressed another doubt.
“He recomnded her file for surgery?” Zhu Huicang recalled Xie Wanying’s image, “Beautiful and pretty, she seems more suited to be an internist. Surgery is ssy and exhausting, which isn’t very friendly towards won.”
The other two didn’t expect him to say that at all!
Cao Yong looked at Zhu Huicang as if seeing his classmate for the first ti, his gaze intense: Are you that compassionate now?
Feeling Cao Yong’s piercing look, Zhu Huicang denied it with a chuckle, “Why that look? You know I’m taken.”
Zhu Huicang was in a relationship. The other two rembered this fact.
“To be honest, if she really does go into surgery, she won’t be able to go into any departnt except gynecology because she’s a woman,” Zhu Huicang shook his head, finding his old classmate’s actions strange, “Are you trying to get her into gynecology?”
“No,” Ren Chongda was certain without needing Cao Yong to say it, “Gynecology, like ophthalmology, is a separate discipline if one wants to study it, especially for graduate and doctoral students. And it’s not within this year’s eight-year program recruitnt scope.”
“Really?” Zhu Huicang, who’d been out of touch with the school, asked.
“Yes, ophthalmology admitted two students for the eight-year program this year. Maybe gynecology didn’t recruit because they’re not lacking people,” Ren Chongda explained.
Recruitnt in schools depends on clinical needs to prevent graduates from being jobless. Gynecology isn’t lacking in personnel in the country; this is sothing every clinician knows.
From the talent training perspective, gynecology was one of the earliest specialties to develop in the country, with salaries among the highest in surgery and closest to international standards. Due to its specific environnt, it prefers female doctors. Many female dical students have their best clinical practice choice and have greatly enriched gynecology, which already boasts a wealth of talent. Moreover, gynecology also likes to recruit male surgeons, because n always have an advantage in the operating room.
“I heard their director say, if they recruit anyone else, it would be a man for surgeries. She wouldn’t be able to wield a scalpel in gynecology,” Ren Chongda added, cutting off any path Xie Wanying might have had to an operating table.
So, the two of them were even more confused about why soone would recomnd raising her file for surgery.
Listening to their conversation, Cao Yong just focused on eating his al.
Seeing that he remained silent, they were even more intrigued:
“It seems like he’s hiding so secret.”
“There’s no secret. What secret could there be?” Cao Yong finally spoke up, tapping their bowls with his chopsticks, “Didn’t I say it? Her admission and file raising were based on the score line. She’s the top scorer in science, the first in admission scores, where else would she go if not the eight-year surgery program?”
“Do you an she could actually get into surgery?” The two of them prodded, trying to guess his inner thoughts from his tone.
“What do you want to say!” Cao Yong lost his temper, thinking to himself how his old classmates were really sothing to doubt her abilities before she even began her studies.
There’s a reason why Handso Cao is widely praised.
The other two thought about it too. They didn’t know how their junior brothers and sisters would perform; it was too early to make conclusions.
Xie Wanying, leaving the restaurant headed for the hospital, passed by a few girls at the corner who glanced back towards the restaurant and said:
“Zhang Xiaohui, Senior Cao and the others are really here, eating a al.”
