"Do not act rashly. Lord Gaven did not coerce ; I joined him voluntarily. He is here to liberate us," Gray Dwarf Chieftain Yuriu seed to have anticipated his people’s reaction, speaking loudly as soon as his feet touched the ground.

Rather than acknowledging Gaven’s ability, it was more his recognition of the enormous potential that Colossus City demonstrated.

No matter what Gaven’s initial power might be, as long as he is not too foolish, with this ultra-modern industrial city supporting him, his developnt speed will not be slow.

And the Gray Dwarves will be an important part of it, seizing the opportunity to secure a better life.

Compared to Gaven’s earlier promises, he trusts more in the rights fought for by his own hands, for that is the most reliable.

At this critical juncture, he cannot let his people do sothing foolish.

"Liberate us? He is not doing us a favor; he is harming us. The power of the Council of Death Chiefs, those foolish outsiders don’t know, but Clan Leader, do you not know? To foolishly try to prevent their army by destroying the underground tunnels is too naive.

The Burrowing Purple Worms they control will soon dig through here again, even creating new passages. When their Undead Army floods in, it will be our doom."

"The promises of outsiders cannot be trusted easily, Chief, you must not make foolish decisions."

"If you want us to believe you, first return our Clan Leader to us."

"The Dwarf Tomb is a major equipnt production site for the Council of Death Chiefs, and they won’t easily let it go. The news about this place might already be passed back."

"Chief..."

"Chieftain Yuriu..."

Among the Gray Dwarves’ cries, there was genuine fear and terror about the Council of Death Chiefs. They have never been a race willing to be enslaved, even when controlled and enslaved by the Mind Flayers’ ntal powers, they broke free of their shackles, let alone the ordinary control thods of the Council of Death Chiefs.

Their ancestors launched no less than ten rebellions, attempting to seize control of the Dwarf Tomb and reject the Council of Death Chiefs’ rule from their door.

Without exception, these rebellions were quickly crushed by the Council of Death Chiefs through brutal and bloody ans, with many Gray Dwarves even joining their Undead Army ranks.

Every ti they quelled a rebellion, the vanguard was their ancestors transford into the Undead Spirits.

Just seeing them, the courage for resistance that had just arisen among the Gray Dwarves would dissipate by more than half.

"Purple Worms? Burrowing Purple Worms? The Council of Death Chiefs controls a large number of Purple Worms?" Gaven heard the crucial information in it, gazing seriously at the Gray Dwarf Chieftain.

Recently, they had been excavating these biological weapons, very familiar with those powerful magical beasts’ advantageous abilities in certain areas, especially when coupled with intelligent coordination.

They had ntioned this creature during prior discussions on Rocklands developnt policy.

The Purple Worm, also known as the Burrowing Purple Worm, resembles an enormously enlarged earthworm with a massive body comparable to a Cloud Manta, primarily in length, possessing a black hole-like mouth capable of swallowing soil and rock, filtering useful organic materials for itself, then excreting them, leaving behind a four to five-ter diater tunnel in its wake.

They are renowned diggers in the Dark Domain, with many new tunnels being the blessings they left behind, becoming new hos and territories for other Dark Domain creatures.

Many wise races of the Dark Domain are rumored to enslave them for their use, famously the Dwarves Elves, experts at training and using slaves.

"We have not witnessed it firsthand, but nearly half of the main tunnel from the Council of Death Chiefs to this place is not a natural Dark Domain path but carved out by these digging monsters, a feat impossible for such low-intelligence monsters without human manipulation."

Chieftain Yuriu explained, "Thus, we suspect the Council of Death Chiefs possesses thods to control the Purple Worms."

"Reasonable, what they could achieve a millennium ago, there is no reason they can’t do it now." Gaven took this matter very seriously, "Calm your people, and I will make the appropriate arrangents. I will not allow the Council of Death Chiefs to strike from the underground as they did with the Dwarves."

Gaven never expected a few hundred ters of demolition to completely stall the Council of Death Chiefs.

Deploying nurous sentries in the un-collapsed passages, monitoring all their movents, is the way.

If the Council of Death Chiefs imdiately attempts to force open the routes to Colossus Underground City at any cost, they must start a war, even if they initially had no intention of doing so.

No matter how hot the yam is, it cannot be handed over without a fight.

This ultra-modern industrial city cannot operate fully without any missing link.

When Colossus Underground City was initially conquered by the Council of Death Chiefs, the city’s Dwarves had to consider completely sealing off and isolating the mine veins.

"Please give a bit of ti, Lord, after all, they’ve been under the Council of Death Chiefs’ rule for so long, and they lack understanding of your strength. Once they understand like I do, I believe they will change their minds." The Gray Dwarf Chieftain made every effort to prevent conflict from erupting between the two sides; once blood is shed, things beco troubleso.
