Now reading: Chapter 1030 - 7: Mooncell (1) from Fate: How About a New Savior?, a Action novel by PinkSnake.

Mooncell, the colossal quantum computation device dormant within the Moon.

According to legend, in ancient tis, an extraterrestrial civilization visited Earth before humanity had even been born and placed this supercomputer inside the Moon.

Its original purpose was to record information about Earth, but thanks to its imnse internal computational power, it gradually beca sothing equivalent to a boundless Holy Grail.

In the first place, Shiomi's birth itself had been planned by the Goddess Nüwa. With the help of the foreign pantheons that supported the plan, she made contact with Mooncell and handed managent of the plan over to this quantum computation device.

As BB said back in the Seraphix Offshore Oil Rig Singularity, Shiomi had not yet reached the point where he could visit Mooncell at that ti.

Ever since the Bleached World began, neither BB nor Mooncell had appeared again, but Shiomi could feel that Mooncell had been watching everything happening on the planet all along.

Chaldea had entered its final stage. In order to thwart the plan Marisbury left behind while keeping their companions safe, Shiomi and Morgan took a reckless gamble.

A gamble called Independent Manifestation to the Moon.

Light swallowed up their vision, and every detection device and radar system aboard the Storm Border lost the ability to receive signals.

Even the engines inside the ship ca to a complete stop.

When the light faded from view, the people on the bridge found themselves surrounded by darkness. No instrunts would start up, and even the lighting system was unusable.

Fortunately, for Magi, light was hardly difficult to produce.

Led by Kirschtaria, the Masters who were Maguses used Magecraft to create sources of light, and the bridge was temporarily illuminated by starlike glows of varying brightness.

It looked like the incandescent lamps from the dawn of the electrical age.

Compared to the ship's usual brilliant lighting, it felt dim, like the early darkness of human civilization.

"Is everyone all right?"

The figure of the Unity God appeared on the bridge as Morgan addressed the group.

"We're fine, but the Storm Border..." Olga Marie answered first, unable to hide her concern.

"It won't start... It's as if sothing is forbidding it," Captain Nemo said gloomily.

"The ship itself hasn't suffered any damage, but it just won't start or move. We can't even determine where we are."

At that, Sion pushed up her glasses.

"The ones who brought us here were Mr. Shiomi and Lady Morgan. Then the two of you presumably know what this place is?"

As Sion asked the question, Morgan undid the fusion.

"We more or less know, but before we get off the ship to investigate, we wanted to confirm everyone's condition first," Shiomi said with a sigh. "For humanity... no, for human civilization, this is still an unopened domain. Morgan and I were actually prepared to fail."

On the way here, the Unity God had used its powerful perception to inspect the entire ship on its own. Only after confirming that everyone aboard was safe did it finally return to the bridge.

"That's right. Even with the ability of Independent Manifestation, neither the Earth Mother Tiamat, the Demon King Goetia, nor the Beast larva Koyanskaya would try leaving the planet for the nearest celestial body in theory."

Then a voice rang out in the darkness.

Everyone instinctively turned to Sakura.

Because it was Sakura's voice.

But Sakura looked blankly back at them.

"Huh? Everyone... but I wasn't the one talking just now."

"Now that you ntion it, Sakura is right beside , but that voice didn't co from over here," Caren said thoughtfully.

Everyone looked at each other, assuming it was so abnormal phenonon caused by this unknown and unfamiliar environnt.

The first step of an [abnormal phenonon] was to disguise itself as an ally and stir up panic and confusion.

The group, who had built deep trust with one another, imdiately thought of that possibility.

Everyone except Shiomi, Morgan, Scáthach, and Artoria followed the voice toward a corner that the starlight did not reach.

"I know this is reckless, but I had no other choice..." Shiomi's voice carried a trace of apology.

The voice, identical to Sakura's, rely let out a sigh.

"I'm not blaming anyone. I'm praising you. Without Mooncell's permission, Independent Manifestation could never have found the right path."

"Indeed." Koyanskaya stared at the figure in the shadows.

She understood better than anyone else that this outco would have been impossible unless the destination itself had actively guided them.

Because Koyanskaya had already realized where they were.

"Still, this is different from the original plan. Mooncell only intended to receive a handful of people, including Dad, but now you've brought an entire ship. Just filing an ergency request for temporary access took quite a lot of effort."

Calling Shiomi by a startling title, the figure stepped out from the shadows and into the starlight, revealing her true appearance.

"Sorry for causing you trouble, BB," Shiomi said sincerely.

The fact that Shiomi knew the girl in front of him quickly beca the least important thing, as startled exclamations broke out all around them.

"Eh? ?" Sakura thought for a mont that her eyes were playing tricks on her.

The girl standing in the dim starlight had a face exactly like hers.

If there was any difference, it was that she was a little shorter, like Sakura herself just after turning sixteen.

"mbers of New Chaldea, this is our first eting. As Mooncell's upper-level AI, I welco you as the first humans to arrive on the Moon... no, more precisely, in the spiritron virtual world SE.RA.PH."

Holding up her skirt, BB gave them an elegant curtsy.

Her refined manners made her look just like Sakura, only smaller in every way.

Of course, except for the fact that her hair was more than twice as long as Sakura's.

"Who exactly are you?" Sakura, now beginning to feel a crisis of identity, asked with visible caution. "And why are you calling my dad 'Dad'?!"

Compared to the others, who were gradually relaxing after sensing no hostility, Sakura's reaction was perfectly natural.

"This really is our first ti eting like this." BB raised her head and answered gently. "I'm an upper-level AI created by Mooncell using you as a template and simulated data. If I've frightened or unsettled you, I'm sorry."

"Ah..." Sakura was left awkwardly suspended by the sheer sincerity of that response.

With her naturally gentle personality, there was no way she could actually get angry.

"An upper-level AI? So you're not human?" Da Vinci moved closer.

Da Vinci-chan crowded in too.

"As expected, your composition is different from a human's. Your body is a Spirit Origin entity made entirely of spiritrons."

The two of them imdiately started poking and squeezing BB's arms and shoulders, in a way that was hard not to interpret as taking advantage of their status as won to harass another girl.

As a result, they were jointly punished by Romani and Olga Marie.
