Chale Cheney’s eyes sparkled with bright light, the little guy was so happy.
But Jasmine Yale’s heart was still surging with emotions, like raging waves, unstoppable.

“Jasy, you haven’t eaten yet, Chaley will take you out to eat.”
“No thanks, Jasy had so food on the plane, not hungry yet.”
“Then let’s take a bath! Bath ti!”
“How old are you now, still needing Jasy to help you bathe?” Jasmine Yale pinched his cheek and smiled.
She looked at Chale Cheney’s face, which was a spitting image of Sylvan Cheney’s, and montarily forgot to look away.
She stared at Chale Cheney, her gaze becoming distant.
In that instant, she blurted out three words accidentally, “Little Rascal…”

Her eyes were covered with a hazy layer of moisture as she gazed at Chale Cheney’s face.
Chale Cheney was surprised, grabbing onto Jasmine Yale’s fingers, “Chaley is not a Little Rascal, Chaley is good.”
He rubbed against Jasmine Yale.
Jasmine Yale ca back to her senses.
Yes, he’s not the Little Rascal.
Her Little Rascal was long gone…
“Let’s go, Jasy will give you a bath,” said Jasmine Yale, carrying him towards the bathroom.
She was going to help him bathe, but the little guy beca shy, covering his face and unwilling to undress, “I’ll bathe on my own.”
Jasmine Yale laughed, “Didn’t you just say you wanted Jasy to help you bathe?”
“No thanks, I’ll bathe on my own.”
Seeing his shy little deanor, Jasmine Yale couldn’t help but pinch him once more, “Okay, you bathe by yourself, be good, Jasy will wait for you outside.”
“Okay…” the little guy drew out the word, his voice milky.
Jasmine Yale took an extra look at him.
Little Chale had grown taller, but his cuteness hadn’t changed.
As he grew older, he looked more and more like Sylvan Cheney.
Jasmine Yale walked outside, her expression still sowhat absent-minded.
Why did Little Chale’s birthday and her baby’s happen to be on the sa day, had Sylvan done it on purpose?
Jasmine Yale couldn’t understand, nor did she have the courage to call him.
They hadn’t been in contact for over a year.
Even her current trip to Lonton had been a secret one.
The last ti she saw him was at the Landon airport, when he sent her off.
Jasmine Yale stood on the balcony, the Lonton night as beautiful as ink.
When Chale Cheney ran out in his little black robe, Jasmine Yale was daydreaming.
“Jasy, I can’t tie the sash,” Chale Cheney said with a pout as he ran to her side, like a small child seeking comfort from his mother.
His little hands fumbled with the sash but couldn’t manage it.
Jasmine Yale turned around and smiled.
She knelt down in front of him, tying his robe’s sash into a bow.
In her daze, she seed to see Sylvan.
Sylvan too had a black robe, and now Chale looked no different from Sylvan.
Jasmine Yale’s long hair fell as she knelt before him, patient.
“Mummy…” Little Chale Cheney looked at her and suddenly called out softly.
A current seed to pass through Jasmine Yale’s heart as she looked up, “Hm?”
“Jasy, you look like my mum.”
Jasmine Yale gazed at the little guy with deep affection, tears glistening in her eyes.
Chale Cheney dove into her embrace, “Hug.”
He hadn’t acted spoiled for so long; he had no one to dote on him in Lonton.
Jasy was the only one he dared to be spoiled with.
“Jasy will blow dry your hair for you.”
Jasmine Yale took out the hair dryer, sat on the balcony, and lifted the little guy onto her lap.
Chale Cheney was well behaved and stayed still.
