Jasmine Yale knew that her life was over.
If one day he didn’t want her anymore and married soone else, she might die of grief.
Love apparently has no expiration date; if it’s true love, no matter how long, one will continue to love.
...
During those few days, perhaps because Jasmine’s reaction was so strong, Sylvan did not bring up the matter of Cakago again.
He went to the corporation during the day, and she stayed at ho with Butler Santana.
Though the days she couldn’t go out were boring, Jasmine really didn’t mind.
Jasmine didn’t have many friends, sotis she would call Ann Nolan in New York.
"Ann, have you gone to work?"
"Yeah, I can’t stay at ho anymore, Aunt Waverly stays with Little Candy at ho, I need to go to the office."
"Is CEO Santos still in New York?"
"Yes, he will spend most of this year in the New York branch. Sotis he takes Little Candy out, but it’s cold now, so Little Candy can’t go out often."
"I miss the little guy, really want to hold her." Jasmine couldn’t help but rember the feeling of holding Little Candy in her arms, soft and spongy, like a sponge.
And Little Candy smiles so sweetly, the more you look, the more you like.
Little girl, like a cute little fairy.
"Jasmine, why did you co back to Landon?"
"I ca back for so things." Jasmine didn’t elaborate, "Send so photos of Little Candy when you’re free, I want to see them."
"Sure, she really likes the gift you got her!"
"I’m glad she likes it, I’m waiting for her to call ’Auntie.’"
Jasmine clutched her phone, casually chatting with Ann.
Sotis, she would hear a crying sound over the phone, which was unmistakably Little Candy.
Jasmine asked Ann to bring Little Candy over; she wanted to hear Little Candy’s voice.
The little one made cooing noises on the other end, and Jasmine smiled until her eyes curved.
"Little Candy, be good, Auntie Jasy will bring you pretty clothes when she cos back to New York. A princess dress, okay? And little shoes, sweaters."
Little Candy stopped crying on the other end, seemingly very happy.
Ann laughed, "Evan bought her a lot of clothes, even more than mine."
"He really likes Little Candy."
"Yes, he does. Every ti he cos, he plays with Little Candy for a long ti, she seems to like playing with him, sotis even more than with ."
"Ann, CEO Santos is really a good person, you could seriously consider it."
Jasmine didn’t want Ann and her daughter to be alone, she hoped soone would take care of them.
Since she was divorced, life had to move forward.
"Jasmine, what about you? How are things with Mr. Carbon?"
"I... have made things clear with Yukon, we are just friends now."
On the other end, Ann was stunned for a mont, but then she understood what Jasmine ant by "friends."
"Is Mr. Carbon not good?"
"He’s good."
"You still can’t let go of him," Ann whispered softly, referring naturally to Sylvan Cheney; she guessed that Jasmine returned to Landon because of him, "Whatever you choose, I am on your side."
"Ann, thank you."
"Little Candy is hungry again, I need to breastfeed her, shall we talk another day?"
"Sure!"
Jasmine had just hung up the phone when a tall figure walked past her.
Sylvan was back.
He took off his coat and glanced at her: "Who were you calling?"
"Ann."
"You two seem to have a good relationship."
"Yes, I am Little Candy’s auntie."
