Jasmine Yale wanted to close the window, but it was already a step too late.

Harper Glorian seed unfazed, striding over in her red high heels.
She wore a mask, with only her large, eye-make-up enhanced eyes visible.

Harper Glorian sized up the car Jasmine Yale was sitting in, recognizing its hefty price tag, her shrewd eyes then scanning Jasmine Yale’s makeup and clothes.
"Miss Yale’s coat is Dior’s limited edition for this winter season, good taste," Harper comnted nonchalantly.
Jasmine Yale wasn’t very knowledgeable about designer brands, but she wasn’t ignorant either.
Of course, she couldn’t afford this clothing; it was bought by Sylvan Cheney.
"Miss Glorian seems to know a lot about these things."
"Yeah, I know a lot, but what good does that do, knowing doesn’t an I can afford it," she said with a dispassionate self-mockery, "I’ve had my eye on this coat for a long ti, but sadly, looking is all I can do."
"Miss Glorian, are you here to shop?"
"Yeah, just picking up a few things, nothing better to do," Harper said, "Miss Yale, are you still with Mr. Cheney?"
Jasmine Yale paused for a mont, then nodded.
"Mr. Cheney sure is faithful, it’s rare to see a sugar daddy not change his girls every two or three years," Harper pulled out a pack of cigarettes from her fur coat pocket, not lighting one, just holding it, "You’re luckier than , I’ve been through two or three n already."
Jasmine Yale felt a bit awkward.
She knew, ever since she t Harper Glorian, Harper had regarded her as one of Sylvan’s mistresses, a mistress just like her.
Maybe that’s what Zaiden Santos had told Harper.
"Changing n isn’t a big deal, it’s just that each one is worse than the last, it’s very frustrating," Harper sighed, "Maybe it’s because I haven’t been looking so good these past two years, finding soone like Mr. Cheney, that’s sothing you younger girls are good at."
Jasmine Yale didn’t know how to explain to her, but there was also no need for an explanation.
Her current relationship with Sylvan wasn’t exactly respectable.
"Why aren’t you with CEO Santos anymore? I heard he’s divorced."
"You’re talking about Zaiden Santos? He’s long left Landon, went off to Afrika, what would I go there for?"
Jasmine Yale thought so too, what woman would want to go to Afrika.
Besides, Zaiden Santos went there to do business, not for pleasure, which naturally couldn’t et Harper’s demands.
Harper seed like the typical example of soone who couldn’t endure hardships.

"I know." Jasmine Yale responded indifferently, she and Harper didn’t really have much to talk about.
"Miss Yale, for old ti’s sake, one day let Mr. Cheney introduce to a new man. The man I’m with now is old and not very rich, I have to count my pennies when I spend a thousand bucks."
