He always escorted her downstairs, just like before.

Sweet Kitty was still being fostered at Aunt Camden’s place; Aunt Camden loved Sweet Kitty so much that she hesitated to return her.
Aunt Camden often praised Sweet Kitty for being smart and often comnted that the owner was smart, and therefore the pet was smart too, which made Jasmine Yale feel quite embarrassed.
"Miss Yale, you’re back! What did you eat with Mr. Carbon tonight?" Butler Santana asked with a smile.
"Hotpot, is the sll particularly strong on ?" Jasmine Yale also smiled.
"Go take a shower. I’ve brewed so bird’s nest soup for you; co and have so later."
"Thank you, Butler Santana."
"The hot water is ready. Go shower. I’ve also cleaned up the baby’s room today, just waiting for the baby to be born."
"So quickly? The baby still has a long way to go; at least eight more months staying in my belly," Jasmine Yale lowered her head, lovingly gazing at her slightly bulging abdon.
The feeling was the sa as six years ago.

After showering, Jasmine Yale sat alone on the balcony, drying her hair.
She gazed at the starry sky outside, silently listening to the sound of the hairdryer, the alluring night outside her window, while her heart remained as calm as still water.
Having dried her hair and eaten the bird’s nest soup, Jasmine Yale returned to her bedroom.
She stood before the full-length mirror, observing herself, having gained weight.
Perhaps it was just after bathing, her cheeks appeared rosy.
Her dark hair fell over her shoulders, and she gently caressed her midsection.
On Monday, she had to go to the hospital for a check-up.
Possibly because it wasn’t her first child, Jasmine Yale was not as anxious as she was during her first pregnancy, but she was still as excited as before.
If Sylvan Cheney were here, would he accompany her to the hospital? Surely, he would.
"Sylvan, I’ll take good care of myself and the baby. When the baby is born, you must co and see him."
Jasmine Yale walked over to the bed, got under the covers, and picked up a storybook.
She told stories to the baby in her belly every night. No matter how busy she was, this was sothing she needed to do.
The baby had been well-behaved these past few days; her morning sickness had significantly improved, only feeling nauseous briefly upon waking in the morning. Other tis, the baby was very obedient.
