Chapter 1956: Chapter 1956: Don’t Want to Talk to Him Anymore

What started as a joking tease, unexpectedly made Sylvan Cheney press his lips tight, furrow his brows, and he didn’t retort a single word.

After a long while, he leaned back in the seat, closed his eyes tight, with a slightly uncomfortable expression on his face.

Jasmine Yale was still eagerly looking out the window, like a child.

“Hmm, that giraffe is also quite interesting, so tall, could it even reach the office?” Jasmine mused with interest, “Working in such a place must be fun, it feels like every day is full of joy. Mr. Dick’s employees should be very interesting too, definitely not old-fashioned, not stubborn, surely all very enthusiastic.”

She talked to herself energetically.

Sylvan Cheney did not respond to her.

“The entire amusent park is very well-designed, CEO, when we do amusent parks, let’s also hire famous designers.”

“Jasmine Yale, do you know anything about planning? Whether to hire, how to hire, how much to hire, all of this needs to be included in the plans and arrangents, not sothing you just casually ntion.”

“I was just casually saying it, why are you being so serious.” Jasmine looked out the window discontentedly, “It’s not like I don’t know.”

She really didn’t want to talk to him.

The car drove into the amusent park, and it was still raining.

The gloomy sky didn’t hide the beauty and colors of the amusent park, which instead stood out in sharp contrast against the sky.

Jasmine Yale was almost pressed against the car window, staring outside without blinking.

There were many interesting artificial animals, all made to look exceptionally lifelike.

Fountains, rockeries, benches were all in place; if not for the office building, Jasmine nearly thought this was an amusent park.

“The more I look, the more I like it. Last ti, Mr. Dick even said I could work here if I wanted.” Jasmine said on purpose, “It’s quite tempting.”

Just as she finished speaking, Sylvan Cheney sneered, “Jasmine Yale, you want to switch jobs before you have the qualifications? Impulsive, don’t think any ordinary company would take you, let alone an amusent park.”

“How do you know Mr. Dick wouldn’t want ? I think I have the capability.”

“Don’t get cocky just because you’ve received a bit of praise. The only reason I let you follow on the amusent park project was because you showed so grit. Look at the report you wrote, full of flaws, chaotic logic, ungrammatical—do you really think an amusent park will tolerate idlers? Or do you think Mr. Dick is easier to fool than I am?”

Jasmine pulled her gaze back, turning her head.

She was very angry, her eyes misty, and she stared at Sylvan Cheney.

“You never see anything good about .”

After saying this, Jasmine lowered her head, continued looking at the docunts, and didn’t want to talk to him anymore.

The car turned a corner, turning into the underground parking lot of the amusent park, and the car slowed down.

As soon as they entered the underground parking lot, the world quieted down, no longer troubled by the noisy rain.

Jasmine began to arrange her things.

She packed up the docunts, notebooks, getting ready to head to the conference room.

Sylvan Cheney remained silent.

The car stopped, Elder Axel opened the car door for them and took the things from Jasmine’s hand: “Miss Yale, I’ll take it.”

“Thank you.”

Sylvan Cheney adjusted his tie, put one hand in his trouser pocket, and strode toward the elevator.

Jasmine followed.

In her heart, there was still a bit of anger; since he didn’t speak, she also stopped talking.

With the annoying noise gone, Sylvan Cheney’s world quieted down.

“Be confident later, don’t embarrass yourself, and don’t stamr when you speak!” Sylvan gave her a glance.
