"Got it." Jasmine Yale stood in the elevator, next to him.
Initially, she thought he would give the opening speech, so her preparation wasn’t thorough enough. Fortunately, she was familiar enough with the project, and logically, she shouldn’t stumble on stage.
"Don’t pull a long face, can’t smile? Hmm?" Sylvan Cheney turned his head to look at her, "I won’t mind your attitude, but if you show that face to the partners, are you planning to ruin the project?"
Jasmine Yale glared at him.
She had no choice but to force a smile, but looking at him, she really couldn’t smile.
Who could possibly smile after being scolded by him?
Not unless soone is a fool.
"That’s an ugly smile." Sylvan Cheney glanced at her with disdain.
Jasmine Yale: "..."
Just then, the elevator arrived.
Sylvan Cheney didn’t argue further, and stepped out.
After he exited, Jasmine Yale and Elder Axel followed him out.
Jasmine Yale, dressed in a black professional suit, despite her pregnancy, had an unaffected grace and elegance.
She was never aggressive; she was soft but not weak, preferring to resolve sharp conflicts with a gentle approach.
As she was about to walk forward, Sylvan Cheney called to her, "Wait."
"Hmm?" Jasmine Yale stopped and looked at him in surprise.
Sylvan Cheney raised his hand, his eyes deep and boundless, his long fingers falling on the collar of her shirt, "Your collar is flipped."
After speaking, he had already fixed her collar and walked forward without looking back.
Jasmine Yale paused for a mont.
Her heart skipped a beat, thrown off rhythm.
He walked away.
She quickly followed, walking side by side with him towards the conference hall.
That day, many people gathered in the conference hall, all companies intending to cooperate with the entertainnt city.
Each company showed their willingness to collaborate, as entertainnt city is currently the largest international group in Cakago, holding significant influence.
If favored and invested by the entertainnt city, all projects would be straightforward.
Each company’s presentation was very compelling, obviously well-prepared.
When Jasmine Yale stood in front of everyone to present, she was not nervous; she fluently expressed the vision and plan of the Jas Group.
Though pregnant, her deanor and conduct were not inferior to any other company leader.
From ti to ti, her gaze would fall on Sylvan Cheney in the audience.
Sylvan Cheney leaned back in his seat, a laptop in front of him.
He listened intently to her speak, occasionally frowning, sotis revealing a smile at the corner of his mouth.
Among a group of UT people, Sylvan Cheney was particularly noticeable, coupled with his handso features and graceful manner, attracting many eyes.
Jasmine Yale did not lose composure, nor was she spoiled; she carried her pregnancy on stage for over twenty minutes.
Throughout, her face displayed a confident smile.
At this mont, she recalled when she first enrolled at the University of Cakago, representing new students with a speech in the auditorium.
At that ti, Sylvan Cheney was also there, though she realized it afterwards.
This ti, he was still here.
Suddenly she felt that sotis fate isn’t so cruel, when she thought she was losing Sylvan Cheney, destiny returned him to her.
Even though he no longer rembers her, being alive is the greatest happiness.
Her English was fluent, and when she encountered unfamiliar technical terms, she could quickly find replacent words.
After more than twenty minutes, she walked down.
