For a mont, all the emotions converged at her heart, and she gripped the cup tightly, suddenly unsure of what to do or say.
Her fingertips trembled slightly.

He continuously observed her face, capturing her every expression.
“Pre…, President, about, about the communication with the amusent park, I, I’m…” Jasmine began, not expecting her voice to tremble continually, stumbling through her words, “I’ve been trying my best to nego-negoti…ate, pretty much…”
“Didn’t you hear what I said?” Sylvan Cheney frowned slightly, sowhat angry, his eyes clouded with a layer of obscure indignation.
Jasmine Yale avoided his gaze as though she hadn’t heard.
This fact left Sylvan Cheney in a foul mood.
“I…” Jasmine’s face flushed, her heartbeat accelerating even more.
Feeling awkward, she clutched the cup, lowered her head, and took a sip of water, attempting to quell her agitation.
“Hmm?” Sylvan Cheney’s gaze bore an intense and powerful presence, rendering Jasmine unable to evade it.
“I… President… you want … to consider… consider…” Jasmine was at a loss for words.
“Jasmine Yale!” Sylvan Cheney was furious, shouting.
“I…” Jasmine was too nervous to speak.
“You’re being too much.” Sylvan Cheney glared at her.
It was truly too much.

Jasmine Yale was entirely engulfed in a state of anxiety and nervousness; did he even realize what he was saying?
The sunlight slanted through the floor-to-ceiling windows, shining upon her, and her cheeks grew increasingly heated.
Her hands had nowhere to settle, wherever she placed them seed awkward.
Jasmine Yale had no idea how she managed to run back to her office, her breathing unsteady, heart racing, mind blank.
