The old man chatted with Jasmine Yale for a while about Lilac Serval.

The old man walked slowly, hands behind his back, his voice raspy, "Little Lilac was bullied by them several tis, and afterward, she beca less talkative. In my heart, I regard Little Lilac as a daughter. Before long, I sent those apprentices away, forbidding them to bully Lilac."
Jasmine listened quietly.
The old man suddenly sighed, "I can protect her for a while, but how can I protect her forever."
"Little Lilac... she will be alright."
"Since childhood, when others bullied her, she never liked to talk back or retaliate, very kind-hearted. Charles bullied her, called her foolish, and she liked to compete with Charles, always thinking about surpassing him in martial arts. Jasmine then asked about the current state of the training grounds.
According to the old man, he was getting old and could no longer manage such a large place, nor did he care to. Either he would transfer the training grounds and donate the proceeds, or he would leave it to Chale Cheney.
However, Chale is still young, and he couldn’t guarantee that no one would covet this property.
"Jasmine, you might want to consider it; if suitable, I’ll entrust the training grounds to you," the old man said, "I trust you. Although it’s our first eting, I won’t misjudge a person’s character."
Jasmine was taken aback; it seed Charles hadn’t had a chance to tell the old man that Sylvan Cheney was still alive.
