Chapter 770: Chapter 770: Her Morning Sickness Is Severe
The rain outside the window fell ceaselessly.
Jasmine Yale was enjoying snacks with the little one, watching TV.
“Jasy, if dad finds out we’re sneaking and watching TV, there will be scolding,” Chale Cheney whispered.
“Once in a while is fine. He can’t be that unreasonable. Jasy will protect you.”
As soon as she finished speaking, Jasmine recalled how unreasonably that man could be.
“Jasy, you’re so nice. Here!” The little one stuffed a tomato-flavored chip into her mouth.

Jasmine’s eyes arched into a smile.
They sat shoulder to shoulder at the head of the bed, snacks in the middle, chatting while watching TV and munching on treats.
Chale Cheney was extrely delighted.
Finally free from the oppression he felt in the hotel, he was much happier being with Jasy.
He didn’t like that so-called great grandfather one bit, and his father had turned bad, too, planning to send him away!
How could they do this?
Halfway through, Jasmine went to give the little one another bath.
Chale Cheney happily splashed in the tub full of water, creating bubbles everywhere!
His wet little hands brushed against Jasmine’s face, and he giggled.
Jasmine also laughed, grabbing his small hand: “Little Chale, no mischief allowed, okay?”
“Jasy, can I sleep with you tonight?”
“Sure, you go to sleep first. Jasy needs to read.”
“Jasy works so hard.”
“Hmm, once I start making money, I will buy yummy food for Little Chale, okay?”
“When baby grows up, I will also buy new clothes for Jasy, okay?”
“Sure.”
It seed as though they had made a pact, cheerfully chatting away.
For the first ti, Jasmine realized that she could relate so well with children.
Ever since their first eting, this child held a powerful magic that she could not escape from.
Even if she tried to avoid it intentionally, it felt as though her heart was being pierced with a needle, creating an inexplicable pain.
This feeling was sothing she never experienced before.
Though three years had passed, she was almost out of the shadow of losing a baby.

He liked to kick her, especially when she was suffering from morning sickness early on in the pregnancy.
She was tornted by the little one quite a few tis.
Going for prenatal check-ups alone, tossing and turning through the night alone, even enduring the disdainful looks of others…
But those seemingly painful monts now seed sweet when she thought back on them.
Chale Cheney frolicked in the bathtub for a while, then fell asleep.
Jasmine laughed. He was just like her.
She would also fall asleep sotis while taking a bath.
She dried off the little one, then wrapped him tightly in a bath towel and gently placed him on her big bed.
The little one was sleeping soundly, occasionally smacking his lips.
Jasmine sat by the bed and watched him for a long ti.
Little Chale… Jasy is going to study in UT, if she can’t see you often, she’ll miss you a lot.
Her slender fair fingers gently caressed the little boy’s face.
After a while, she leaned down and planted a warm kiss on his cheek.
After tucking him in, she tiptoed out of the room, stepping lightly on the soft carpet.
Back in the study, she resud morizing the texts she hadn’t finished during the day. She had never been this serious even during her college entrance exams.
The rain continued to pour outside the window. The misty weather blanketed the entire villa.
Listening to the rain, Jasmine experienced a strange feeling of ti standing still, as though it had stopped years back.
