Chapter 771: Chapter 771: With a Hint of Coquetry
Blue Mountain Manor, one o’clock at night.
A grand wine dinner had just concluded.
The pouring rain and cold weather didn’t dampen the enthusiasm here at all.
The banquet didn’t start until eleven o’clock at night, and lasted a full two hours.
Outside the manor, luxury cars were parked, Maseratis, Ferraris, Lamborghinis… in all sorts of models and colors.
The manor was adorned with flowers and red carpets, like a wedding banquet, festive and prosperous.

The air was filled with the fresh scent of roses and the sll of earth.
At one o’clock, the banquet ended, and people began to leave the manor gradually, each heading ho.
At the entrance, Zaiden Santos and Sylvan Cheney bid each other farewell, the forr having had too much to drink.
“Mr. Cheney, I’m leaving first.” He was terribly drunk, and was being assisted by a driver from the Santos family.
“Alright, be careful on the road,” Sylvan cautioned him.
Zaiden waved at Sylvan, like a naughty child.
As the driver led him to the car, he drunkenly took out his phone and dialed a number.
His deep, drunken voice drifted through the air –
“Co and get .”
“Why aren’t you coming to get when I’m drunk?”
“I’m giving you ten seconds to think about it, if you won’t co get , then…”
“Then…”
“What should I do with you.”
“Ann Nolan, you really are an annoying woman.”
“I’m drunk, and you still won’t co get .”
Zaiden kept talking as he walked, heavily drunk, spouting nonsense with a hint of coquetry.
The Santos family’s driver, embarrassed, quickly scrambled to open the umbrella and the car door, urging Zaiden into the car.
Zaiden was groggy and blush flushed across his face. Initially, he even resisted getting into the car.
It was only when the driver managed to pry his fingers off the car door that he was able to stuff him into the car.
A small portion of Zaiden’s hair was wet, which added a touch of soft charm to his young and handso face.
Sylvan lit a cigarette in his hand.
He slightly squinted his eyes, watching Zaiden’s Bentley disappear into the rain.
Gradually, it beca a speck and disappeared from sight.
Spencer Childe, due to Yacob Harry’s insistent persuasion, decided not to leave and planned to rest in the manor’s guest room instead.
The cold wind of the late night brought with it an intense chill.
Night fell, and Sylvan’s solemn face flickered in the interplay of light and mist.
This man stood on the steps, his every subtle gesture emanating infinite charm.
The guests gradually dispersed.
Yacob Harry saw the last batch of guests out with his daughter, Joan Harry, and walked towards the manor’s eaves.
Rain fell from the eaves, pitter-patter, splattering white droplets when hitting the ground.
Yacob Harry was dressed in a formal suit, while his daughter Joan was much more casual.
She wore a Chanel style white dress, with light makeup and refined features.
Her black hair was draped over her shoulders, fluttering softly with every gust of wind.
When Joan smiled, her eyes curled up like crescents, her elegance displaying an untouched innocence.
“Grandfather Childe, Mr. Cheney.” Joan greeted with a smile.
“Joan, the last ti I saw you, you were only three or four years old. You are still as gentle as you were then,” responded Spencer Childe.
Joan smiled.
“Uncle Harry, Miss Harry, if there’s nothing else, I’ll take my leave,” Sylvan took a puff of his cigarette, gentlemanly and elegant.
