Lin Shen went through the contract, clarifying the specific terms. He also made a point to carefully examine the addendums to avoid getting scamd.
However, it seed Shen Mingchuan genuinely wanted to sell the shops and wasn’t trying to pull any funny business.
"This is fine."
Ten minutes later, Lin Shen stood up with the contract in hand, casually glancing at the green and gold Rolex Daytona on his left wrist.
"The staff at the property transaction center haven’t left for the day yet. Let’s go handle the transfer paperwork now."
"You got it!"
Seeing Lin Shen agree, Shen Mingchuan was overjoyed and imdiately hurried to the master bedroom to grab the necessary docunts.
Then, the three of them went downstairs and drove to the property transaction center.
Although Lin Ping once again sat in Lin Shen’s passenger seat, Shen Mingchuan was no longer suspicious.
He figured Lin Ping was probably just shy and too embarrassed to ride in the sa car with him.

The group left the property transaction center.
Although the transfer process was finished, they would have to wait a month for the new property deeds to be issued.
Still, for the next month, Lin Shen was effectively the owner of the two comrcial properties; it was just a matter of making it official.
None of that was important, though.
The money had already been transferred and the contract was in effect. It was highly unlikely Shen Mingchuan could back out now, even if he wanted to.

The seven-figure sum that appeared in the bank transfer notification on his phone sent Shen Mingchuan into a state of ecstasy.
He hurried over to Lin Shen and bowed with the utmost sincerity.
"Thank you so much for everything today! How about I treat you to dinner tonight to show my appreciation?"
"That won’t be necessary."
Lin Shen waved his hand dismissively. Then, a thought struck him, and he glanced at Lin Ping by his side.
"If you really insist on treating , you should find a ti for Lin Ping to co over to your place and cook a ho-style al."
"Of course!"
Shen Mingchuan agreed in a heartbeat.
Lin Shen’s suggestion made him leap for joy internally. This was the perfect opportunity to get closer to Lin Ping!
What’s more, it seed like Lin Shen was trying to play matchmaker and help them repair their relationship.

At this, any negative feelings or resistance Shen Mingchuan had toward Lin Shen vanished, replaced by nothing but gratitude and admiration.

Lin Ping appeared hesitant, but in truth, she had been ready to agree from the start.

Lin Ping was very clear about her new role, but she couldn’t quite understand why they had to go to Shen Mingchuan’s place for the al.

Shen Mingchuan let out a hearty laugh, feeling that his future was looking bright.
"President Lin, we’ll have to drink until we drop!"
"Of course."
A strange, aningful smile touched Lin Shen’s lips.
"Contact once you’ve set a date. I’ll be leaving now."
"President Lin!"
Just then, Lin Ping called out to Lin Shen, her voice soft as she made a request.
"Are you heading back to the Cat Cafe? Could you give a ride?"
"Get in."
Lin Shen was indeed planning to return to the Cat Cafe. After all, this "lion" had yet to properly survey his newly acquired territory.
At that mont, Shen Mingchuan wanted to get in on the action, too.
"Ping, why don’t I take you? It feels wrong to keep troubling President Lin."
"It’s no trouble."
Seeing that Lin Shen didn’t mind, Shen Mingchuan relaxed.
Before leaving, Lin Ping turned to look at him and said softly,
"About the dinner... rember to let know in advance so I can buy the groceries."

Shen Mingchuan was flattered. The interaction felt so much like that of a real married couple that a wave of warmth surged through him.
Watching the taillights of the Jaguar XFL disappear into the distance, he pumped his fist and muttered, "Nice." He then humd a little tune as he got back into the driver’s seat of his rcedes S-Class.
He rolled down the window, kicked off his shoes, and propped his stinky feet up on the windowsill. After lighting a cigarette and taking a long drag, he called Xu Fei.
His first two calls were imdiately disconnected. He stubbornly tried a third ti, and it finally went through.
The mont the call connected, Xu Fei’s disgusted voice ca through the line.
"Are you insane?! Why are you calling ? I’m warning you, Shen Mingchuan, we are over!"
"I used to think you were so big shot, but it turns out your rcedes S-Class was just a modified E-Class! The Chanel and LV bags you gave were all fakes! Have you no sha? If you don’t have the money, then stop pretending you’re so elite! You’re just a broke-ass poser!"
