As the car got on the road, Bai Yiyi turned her head to look at Ah Kai and asked gently, “What do you want to eat tonight, I’ll cook for you.”
“You’ve been working all day too, you’re just as tired. Let’s have Western food.”
Ah Kai leaned back lazily in his seat, slightly tilting his handso face, his gaze landing on Bai Yiyi’s delicate features.

Bai Yiyi’s eyes curved with laughter.

Ah Kai responded with a question instead of answering, his gaze burning.
Bai Yiyi raised her brows triumphantly, “No, if I were afraid, I would have run away from you by now.”
Ah Kai laughed heartily, “Then let’s go ho and pick up Aunt Bai and Tongtong, and we’ll all go for Western food together.”

In the playground on the third floor, Wen Ran sat on a swing while Momo and Xinxin stood on the left side, and Ziyi stood on the right side. The three little treasures were diligently serving their mother.
Although the swing didn’t go high, the air was filled with laughter and joy.
“Babies, you’re amazing.”
Wen Ran’s laughter was full of sweetness and happiness, while the three little treasures energetically shouted “Mom” again and again.

She put on her Bluetooth headset, holding the swing with both hands, casually swinging herself.

An Lin’s voice ca through the wires, vaguely mixed with car horn sounds. Wen Ran said with a smile, “Yes.”
She continued, “Are you in a car? I hear car sounds.”
“Yes, I just arrived in G City, got off the plane just now, calling to see if you’re ho.”
“Oh, you ca to G City? An Lin, why didn’t you tell us earlier? Does Qin Mu know? Did he go to the airport to pick you up?”
Wen Ran stood up from the swing and let out a series of questions.
“I haven’t told him yet, Ranran, I miss you and those little ones. I’m on my way to your house now, talk more when I arrive, bye.”
“Okay.”
As Wen Ran’s words finished, the call was already ended.
She lowered her eyes in thought for a mont, then dialed Mo Xiuchen’s number.
anwhile, at the top floor of the sky-piercing Group Building, in the president’s office, Mo Xiuchen’s phone rang just as Qin Mu happened to be in his office.
The two of them each occupied a sofa, a proposal placed on the tea table before them.
The ringing interrupted their conversation, Mo Xiuchen pulled out his phone, and upon seeing the caller, the smile spreading across his lips and the laughter blooming in his eyes made Qin Mu, sitting across and unable to see the caller ID, imdiately knew who was calling.
He lowered his head, picked up his coffee elegantly, took a sip, and instead of setting it down, leaned lazily into the sofa, quietly watching Mo Xiuchen answer the call.
Unbeknownst to what Wen Ran said on the other end, Mo Xiuchen’s gaze turned to Qin Mu, and as their eyes t, a trace of confusion swept through Qin Mu’s eyes.
“Ranran, I know, Ah Mu is right here, I’ll let him co ho with after work.”
After hanging up, Mo Xiuchen inford Qin Mu, “An Lin is in G City.”
Upon hearing this, Qin Mu’s expression slightly shifted, “She’s at your house?”
“To be precise, she’s on her way to my house, just got off the plane. Maybe she didn’t want to disturb your work and didn’t ask you to pick her up. In a bit, you co back with .”
Mo Xiuchen observed the subtle changes in Qin Mu’s expression, witnessing him lower his eyes again, then lifting them with a cold, calm elegance in his expression, he briefly replied, “Okay.”
“You and An Lin can’t go on like this forever, Ah Mu, you should resolve your misunderstandings.”
After a mont of silence, Mo Xiuchen shared his thoughts.

He wouldn’t divorce An Lin and would keep his promise to stay with her for a lifeti.

In the villa living room, Bai Yiyi was so startled by Ah Kai calling ‘Mom’ that the porcelain cup in her hand almost slipped onto the floor.
She looked up at Ah Kai in shock.
He, with gentle brows and warm eyes, gazed at Bai Yuqin.
Noticing Bai Yiyi’s astonished look towards him, he slowly turned his eyes, eting her gaze full of surprise, he gave a soft smile.
Having changed clothes and co down from the second floor, Bai Yuqin stood frozen by the green potted plant.
The colors in her elderly eyes changed rapidly from thinking she heard wrong to shock, disbelief, and finally, deep emotion surged in, bringing a wave of warmth over her nose and moistening her eyes.
For a mont, the living room was completely silent.
Bai Yiyi just looked at Ah Kai with complex emotions, and even Tongtong was amazed by his dad calling ‘Mom’, blinking pure eyes, looking at them blankly.
“Mom, Ah Kai is calling you, hurry and respond.”
It was Bai Yiyi who spoke first, bringing Bai Yuqin back to her senses. Her face replaced with joyous emotions, she shakily said, “Ah Kai, hold on, I’ll go upstairs to get you the change of address gift.”
With that said, she turned and ran upstairs with surprising speed, as if suddenly ten years younger, her vigor making Bai Yiyi feel a pang of emotion.

Ah Kai didn’t stop Bai Yuqin from going upstairs, but turned to Bai Yiyi with a joyful smile.
