Bai Xiaoxiao laughed, “I happened to run into Xiaocha. She ntioned those school supplies were sponsored by you, but since Mo Xiuchen wouldn’t let you go to the deaf-mute school, I went on your behalf.”
“Xiaoxiao, how did you run into Xiaocha? Weren’t you going to ng Ke’s house?”
Wen Ran couldn’t figure it out.
“Well, we bumped into them shopping while we were out, Ranran. Do you want to join us?”
“No, you all go ahead.”
Uncertain of what Mo Xiuchen said over the phone, as Wen Ran finished speaking, the call disconnected.
“Sister Wen…”
Just as Jing Xiaocha was about to call out Sister Wen, the call had already ended. Bai Xiaoxiao laughed and said, “Stop calling, the phone call was hung up by Mo Xiuchen.”
“Mo General is so domineering.”
Jing Xiaocha muttered, putting away her phone.
“You’ve known Ranran for so long, you should be used to it by now.” Bai Xiaoxiao chuckled softly; she was already used to it.
While Mo Xiuchen might be domineering, his deep affection for Ranran was truly touching.
Seeing her good friend so happy, Bai Xiaoxiao felt that even if Ranran was domineeringly occupied by Mo Xiuchen, she didn’t mind anymore.
Thinking of sothing, she lowered her head and took out her own phone.
She hadn’t opened the ssage she received that morning at ng Ke’s house, only knowing that it was from Luo Haofeng.
“Xiaoxiao, I failed in my blind date this morning, seeking comfort.”

Bai Xiaoxiao’s phone rang, and seeing the incoming call, she told Jing Xiaocha to go ahead with the others, standing by the door to answer the call.
“Hello!”
The autumn sun was warm on her, but not scorching.

On the other end, the sound of a car door opening could be heard, and after Luo Haofeng got in and closed the door, he replied, “If they were pleasing to the eye, I’d reluctantly give it a shot, but none were.”
He reclined his seat and leaned back, a hint of laziness in his deanor, “The way they looked at creeped out.”
“Well, it’s your fault for being so handso. If you were uglier, no one would want to pounce on you.”
Bai Xiaoxiao laughed from her end of the phone.
“It’s so hard to beco ugly, but Xiaoxiao, you make a point. Maybe if I try and succeed in becoming ugly, and soone still likes , then it proves they’re genuine, right?”
Luo Haofeng seed seriously considering the idea of making himself less attractive.
Bai Xiaoxiao’s lips twitched, “I suppose so, but even if you beco ugly, you still have money.”
So won these days only care if the other person has money, don’t they?
“Xiaoxiao, where are you now?”
Luo Haofeng changed the topic abruptly, catching Bai Xiaoxiao off guard.
“Weren’t you going to ng Ke’s house today? How did his family treat you?”
