Wen Ran teased, knowing An Lin was perfectly happy now and was still joking around with her.
An Lin raised an eyebrow and smiled, “Ah Mu spoils now because I have his little sweetheart. Maybe when the little sweetheart is born, he won’t be so nice to anymore.”
“Heartless.”
Wen Ran laughed and jokingly glared at her, standing up for Qin Mu.
Bai Yiyi laughed along and chid in, “An Lin, you’re really heartless, Qin Mu treats you so well, and you think this way about him. If Qin Mu hears this, I don’t know how hurt he’d be.”
“I’m speaking the truth. When he first found out it was a daughter, he was happier than anything. When the baby is born, he might not rember at all.”
An Lin’s words made Wen Ran chuckle lightly, “Didn’t you hope to have a daughter to steal Ziyi as a son-in-law?”
“Haha, that’s true. If you don’t have a daughter, how will you steal Ziyi?”
“My son-in-law.”
An Lin laughed proudly, turning her gaze towards the not-so-distant lawn.
After a few seconds, she turned back and discussed with Wen Ran, “Ranran, have Ziyi stay at our house for a few days.”
“Ah?”
Wen Ran looked at An Lin in surprise.
An Lin said with a smile, “Have Ziyi co to our house, so he can nurture so feelings with his future wife. After the baby is born, I’ll let her co to your house.”
“No way.”
Wen Ran jokingly pretended to be scared, “Sending the baby to my house right after birth, aren’t you treating like a free nanny? Wishful thinking.”
“Ranran, that would be your Mo family’s daughter-in-law, you can’t treat her like that.”
An Lin frowned discontentedly.
In the kitchen, Qin Mu and Wen Jin were busy as one chopped vegetables and the other washed them, then they saw Mo Xiuchen stroll in leisurely.
“What are you doing here?”
Qin Mu glanced up at him briefly, then continued with his task.
After Wen Jin finished cutting the at in his hand, he looked up at Mo Xiuchen, who had walked up to him and rolled up his sleeves. A smile spread in his eyes, “Xiuchen, did Ranran drive you into the kitchen to help?”
