Mo Zixuan stared at Qin Mu in disbelief, “You said, Tong Shishi sent a ssage to Ranran?”
“You can ask her yourself.”
From Qin Mu’s words, it was evident that he had been in touch with Tong Shishi, but this incident was unlikely to have been instigated by him.
Mo Zixuan found himself at a loss for words.
His handso face turned from pale to white and only after a while, he managed to say coldly: “I’ll call her and ask. If she really did this, I won’t let her get away with it.”
With that, he left the office without acknowledging Qin Mu.

Wen Ran did not expect Mo Xiuchen to arrive so early.
She, Bai Xiaoxiao, and Li Qian were sitting in the courtyard, chatting, sipping tea, eating snacks, when suddenly they saw an Aston car approaching from far away. The familiar license plate made her heart miss a beat. As she watched the car slow down and pull over, her eyes flickered.
The car door opened, and a tall, handso figure erged from inside. Li Qian and Bai Xiaoxiao teased, “Ranran, stop daydreaming. Hurry up and greet him.”
Jolted out of her reverie, Wen Ran blushed with embarrassnt, stood up, glared at them, and headed towards the front door.
“Did you make the call?”
Li Qian whispered, watching Wen Ran open the door for Mo Xiuchen.
Bai Xiaoxiao nodded, “It’s better for Mo Xiuchen to keep an eye on her.” She wasn’t sure of his intentions, whether to keep it a secret forever or to find the right ti to tell Ranran. Thus, she called him imdiately.
Previously, Luo Haofeng had ntioned that Mo Xiuchen had publicly admitted to being ill, and any rumors about Wen Ran were purely fabricated. She believed that Mo Xiuchen wouldn’t reveal the truth to Wen Ran.
“Ranran, you seem surprised. You didn’t expect to co this early, did you?”
At the villa gate, Mo Xiuchen approached Wen Ran with a smile, his eyes filled with tenderness.
As Wen Ran watched him approach, her nostrils filled with his familiar scent. Chiding him, she said, “What ti is it? It’s your first day back to work and you’ve already left early.”
Pretending to check his wristwatch, Mo Xiuchen laughed, “Ranran, if you don’t want to leave, you can co back to the office with and I’ll work a little longer.”
Wen Ran frowned at his cheerful face, asking with so concern, “Have you finished all your work?”
Mo Xiuchen brushed a stray lock of hair from her forehead and said with a smile, “I was just kidding, I’ve finished everything. And even if there were so things left, Ah Mu and Ah Feng are there. Today when I went to work, I suddenly felt like the company would function just as well without . Ranran, why don’t we continue our trip?”
His words were half-serious, half-joking. She playfully scolded him, “We just got back from Bali Island. You’ve only worked one day and you’re already thinking about another trip. Next ti you co back, they won’t need you.”
“I never intended to go back to work anyway. With Mo Zixuan in the company, he can’t wait for to step down imdiately. It just so happens that the prospect of traveling with you is much more interesting than work.”

Mo Xiuchen paused.

Wen Ran smiled, her brow confidently raised as she replied, “If you can’t support , then I’ll support you. Otherwise, we can take turns working. It doesn’t matter how much money we have, as long as we can live.”
She knew Mo Xiuchen was teasing her. Last ti, he ntioned that even if he never worked again, he could still support her.
After all the years he had been working, how could he not have any savings? And even if he didn’t, she wouldn’t be worried. They were both capable, and supporting themselves would be a breeze.
She just wanted him to have a proper rest. There was no need to give all his life to work, lose his sense of self and freedom.
Mo Xiuchen chuckled lightly, and his eyes drifted past Wen Ran to Li Qian and Bai Xiaoxiao in the distance. He asked quietly, “Do you want to go ho now, or stay a bit longer?”
Wen Ran hesitated. Before she could answer, Bai Xiaoxiao’s voice interrupted, “Ranran, you can go with Mo Xiuchen. Sister Li will stay behind to have dinner with .”
Since Mo Xiuchen was so eager to pick up Wen Ran, it was tactless of her to keep Wen Ran from leaving.
Wen Ran, initially uncertain, agreed upon hearing Bai Xiaoxiao’s suggestion. She said goodbye to her friends and left with Mo Xiuchen.
“Tong Shishi sent a ssage just now.”
Once they were on the road in the Aston, Wen Ran took the initiative to tell Mo Xiuchen. He turned his head, looking concerned, “What did Tong Shishi send you?”
Wen Ran shook her head, “I don’t know, Xiaoxiao deleted it before I could read it. According to her, it’s nothing good.”
“Then ignore it. Tong Shishi isn’t a good person. Reading her ssages would only be a waste of your ti.” Mo Xiuchen’s voice betrayed his annoyance. Seeing his brow furrowed, Wen Ran quickly smiled and assured him, “I didn’t read it. There’s no need for you to be upset.”
Mo Xiuchen nodded, his annoyance subsided, and a gentle smile appeared on his face, “Ranran, no matter what Tong Shishi sends you, don’t pay any attention to it.”
“Xiaoxiao has already blocked her. Even if she sends anything, I wouldn’t be able to receive them.”
When Bai Xiaoxiao blocked Tong Shishi, she didn’t keep it a secret from Wen Ran but inford her honestly. Given Bai Xiaoxiao’s personality, Wen Ran didn’t find her actions unexpected.
