Phoebe Walker clearly had no intention of letting the matter drop. Nia Mitchell, who had been about to take out her money, paused and did not proceed.

The latter was the main point. The ever-vindictive Phoebe Walker was not about to suffer such a significant loss willingly.
Today, she planned to use this incident to take Nia Mitchell down a peg.
She also wanted everyone in the entire Company to know that she, Phoebe Walker, was not to be trifled with.
She was the only person in the Company who could possibly beco the CEO’s wife. These little clowns needed to be careful, lest they bite off more than they could chew.
Before Nia Mitchell could respond to Phoebe Walker’s words, Alan Morgan couldn’t hold back any longer.
"Phoebe Walker, you’re going too far!"
Alan Morgan paled; God knew how terrified he was. If the Boss hears about this... Damn it! Just imagining the consequences makes want to run. Nia Mitchell is Young Master Peary’s woman! Even if he doesn’t like her, bullying her is like slapping the CEO in the face. Besides, I’ve been with Young Master Peary for so many years, and I’ve never seen him care for any woman as much as he cares for Nia Mitchell.
", going too far? Alan Morgan, let tell you, I’m the victim!" Phoebe retorted, her voice sharp. I’m injured; am I supposed to just swallow my anger? Just thinking about it makes my arm burn. I can’t take it away from the running water for even a second. It’s a large, red patch. Who knows if it’ll leave an ugly scar?
"Alan Morgan, you’re protecting Nia Mitchell so much. Don’t tell you two have so dirty little secret?"
At this point, she didn’t care anymore. If it ca down to it, she was ready for a complete falling out with Alan Morgan.
"An employee like that—even if MC Group wants to keep her, my Group A doesn’t! Either she goes, or I resign!"
Phoebe Walker was resolved. If I resign, this will definitely be reported to the CEO. And when that happens, Alan Morgan, will you still be able to cover for the huge ss Nia Mitchell has made?
Everyone in the Secretary Departnt was shocked. Phoebe Walker had actually threatened to resign.

The Secretary Departnt now resembled a battlefield, the air thick with unspoken conflict.
Just then, the phone on Nia Mitchell’s desk rang.
Nia Mitchell moved to answer it, but Phoebe Walker grabbed her arm.
"You’re not going anywhere! Who knows if you’re trying to escape? Diana Hill, you get the phone."
Diana Hill jumped. Being singled out at a ti like this was definitely not a good thing.
All eyes fixed on Diana Hill, their collective gaze sharp enough to pierce, leaving her at a loss.
Nia Mitchell struggled hard, but to her surprise, Phoebe Walker’s grip was so strong she couldn’t break free.
Diana Hill gave an embarrassed smile, shot Nia Mitchell an apologetic look, and steeled herself to answer the phone.
"Hello?"
On the other end of the line, Maxwell Peary paused for a few seconds. Did I dial the wrong number? When did Nia Mitchell’s voice beco so awful? I still wanted to ask her if she regretted it. I’m very satisfied with my masterpiece. Just thinking about that dense... COUGH...
"Hello?"
Diana Hill looked at the phone in confusion. They haven’t hung up, so why aren’t they talking? If they don’t say anything, how am I supposed to know who it is?
She repeated herself helplessly, then looked at Phoebe Walker, completely at a loss.
