Fiona Sutton imdiately reached out with her left hand to pry open the large hand gripping her, but it was in vain; the man just held on tighter.
"Ah! My hand is going to be crippled!"
Fiona yelled. Lifting her head, she realized that the man gripping her wrist was the very sa soldier from before.
Damn it, talk about a small world for enemies!
"Let go! Real n don’t fight won!"
Fiona endured the pain and glared at Yancy Hastings. Bloody hell, he’s even standing next to that gorgeous woman! Doesn’t he care about maintaining his gentlemanly deanor in front of her?
May he never find a girlfriend, and may his wife run off with another man!
Yancy Hastings glanced at Fiona and disdainfully released her hand.
"No manners."
Those words again. Just how much did he despise Fiona?
Fiona ignored his comnt; her mind was filled with one big word: PAIN.
Damn it, my right wrist is already bruised purple, and it hurts like hell with the slightest movent.
That classless brute!
"Pay my dical bills!"
Fiona, furious, glared up at the towering Yancy Hastings. Her head felt a bit dizzy from looking up so fiercely.
Yancy Hastings gave a derisive smirk. Always about money. To think that after a few years away from the Military Camp, all the young won outside are so rcenary.
"dical bills?"
He flexed his fingers, which made a series of CRACKING sounds.
"I haven’t even called you out for causing a scene here, and you’re already playing the victim."
If Yancy Hastings wanted to deal with soone, it would be a matter of minutes.
However, he had his principles: he wouldn’t easily target won.
"Fiona, forget it. Let’s just go," Nia Mitchell urged, standing there feeling extrely uncomfortable. Although she knew Yancy Hastings and Maxwell Peary were friends, she also knew that Yancy Hastings had always looked down on her.
She hadn’t expected to run into Yancy Hastings here today and cause so much trouble.
Fiona’s temper flared, and she didn’t care who the other party was; at worst, they would all go down together. Before she could refuse Nia’s suggestion, she heard Yancy Hastings’ voice.
"Thinking of leaving just like that? Then who’s going to pay for my waiter’s dical bills?"
Yancy Hastings glanced at the waiter still standing behind the counter, his hair a disheveled ss.
Hearing himself ntioned, the waiter imdiately looked up, his face a picture of grievance, marred by several bloody scratches.
HISS!
Fiona really hadn’t pulled her punches.
"If she hadn’t been barking nonsense here, I wouldn’t have taught her a lesson!"
Fiona grimaced, flexing her right wrist. A piercing pain shot through it.
No, no, I need to go to the Hospital for an X-ray later. The bone might even be fractured.
Who would’ve thought this soldier would be so strong? He’s handso, but utterly classless.
Damn it! I’m done with ’soldier boys’! When I get back to the Dormitory, I’m throwing out all my soldier posters!
"Who do you think you are? Lotus Residence doesn’t welco people like you in the first place. What was wrong with the waiter asking you to leave?"
Yancy Hastings waved his hand, signaling the waiter to go get his injuries attended to, then walked straight behind the counter.
He took out a stack of bills and slamd it onto the counter.
"Take this for your dical bills and get lost."
Fiona’s face darkened instantly. His behavior, the attitude of that waiter just now, and his reference to "my waiter"...
All signs pointed to one thing: this Lotus Residence was his. Even if he wasn’t the sole owner, he had to be a partner.
