Nia Mitchell wouldn’t let Fiona Sutton be disrespected in front of Yancy Hastings; she had seen what he was capable of.
The image of him storming into the Hospital with many ard n that day was unforgettable.
Although Fiona Sutton was tough, she had never experienced such a scene.

Fiona Sutton was surprised. Nia... she knows this despicable man?
Nia Mitchell gave a start, only then realizing what she had just said.
Yancy Hastings ca out from behind the counter slowly. His military uniform shone brightly under the lights, exuding an aura of steel and resolve.
He stopped in front of Nia Mitchell, bent down slightly to match her height.
"Did I insult her? Or... are you feeling inferior?"
Yancy Hastings leaned in very close, his distinctly masculine scent washing over her. Nia Mitchell instinctively took a step back to maintain so distance.

Yancy Hastings, does Maxwell know you’re saying this?
Yancy Hastings chuckled. Is she flustered?
"Nia Mitchell, do you think you can deceive him forever?"
Yancy Hastings didn’t directly ntion Maxwell Peary’s na. For him, he was even more reluctant than Nia Mitchell for her identity to be exposed.
She didn’t have the qualifications to be called Mrs. Peary. Even if Maxwell Peary approved of her, I certainly wouldn’t.
"Yancy?!"
Evelyn Peary was shocked by Yancy Hastings’ attitude. So, he dislikes my sister-in-law this much!

She walked over, frowning at Yancy Hastings.
Her older brother went through so much to finally get a wife. If his wife runs off because of Yancy, he’ll probably be finished.
She didn’t want to see Maxwell Peary and Yancy Hastings fall out.
"Miss, I apologize to you on his behalf. We are truly sorry. This money is to compensate for your dical expenses, and you are always welco at the Lotus Residence."
Evelyn Peary spoke with graceful ease. She picked up the money, not thrusting it at Fiona Sutton, but giving it to Nia Mitchell.
In just a few short minutes, she had already figured out Fiona Sutton’s temperant. If she gave the money to Fiona, she would most likely refuse it.
Nia Mitchell hesitated. If I don’t take this money, Evelyn Peary will surely launch into a long tirade of principles, or she’ll turn and give it to Fiona. Fiona can’t be provoked right now.
Her best choice now was to accept it.
"Fiona, let’s go."
Nia Mitchell accepted the money and reached for Fiona Sutton’s uninjured left hand, preparing to leave.
Fiona Sutton stubbornly struggled, using her injured right hand to help herself break free.
"Nia Mitchell, tell , do you know this despicable man?"
Fiona Sutton found this fact hard to accept. Nia Mitchell’s earlier words kept replaying in her mind.

Fiona Sutton frowned. Considering the rules of this Lotus Residence and Yancy Hastings’ disdainful attitude towards commoners... Nia Mitchell definitely couldn’t know him.
