Nia Mitchell silently raised an eyebrow. What did she an by that? Did she mistake for one of EdbertNia Mitchell’s girlfriends? PFFT! How ridiculous!
"I say, your way of thinking is so... TSK, TSK." Nia Mitchell silently shook her head. A person who’s dark on the inside probably sees darkness in everyone else.
"I can’t be bothered to waste my ti on such aningless talk with you here. Are you, a Waiter, going to drive your custors away?" Nia Mitchell smiled, but her words carried a hint of sarcasm. "Also, do you think you’re soone special? After all, you are just a Waiter."
Does she think she’s of high status just because she works at Lotus Residence? She’s rely hobnobbing with so upper-class people; that doesn’t change her fundantal nature, and it never will.
"If you’re not going to welco here, then I’ll leave now."
As she said that, Nia Mitchell turned to leave but then saw EdbertNia Mitchell walking over.
"What’s wrong? Why haven’t you gone to the Private Room yet? Did you run into soone you know?" EdbertNia Mitchell approached, sowhat puzzled. He glanced at the additional Waiter present, assuming Nia Mitchell knew her.
"No, I don’t happen to know any Waiters." Nia Mitchell retaliated with a sarcastic comnt, rolled her eyes at the Waiter standing there, and then walked towards the Private Room with EdbertNia Mitchell.
EdbertNia Mitchell sowhat understood; he was familiar with Nia Mitchell’s temperant. For her to utter such words... This Waiter must have provoked her just now.
"Let’s go." Leading the way, EdbertNia Mitchell, familiar with the route, headed towards the Private Room. His body emanated a unique scent—the blend of his cologne and a hint of wine.

Maxwell Peary was busily engrossed in the folders in his hand; the coffee on his desk had long since grown cold, its aroma gone. After finishing the last docunt, he stood up to stretch and glanced at the ti.
Six o’clock already? Maxwell Peary paused, stunned. I’ve been so busy I completely lost track of ti. But why hasn’t Nia Mitchell co into the Office Room yet?
Frowning in confusion, he opened the Grand Gate to his Office Room. Outside, it was pitch black; the Secretary Departnt had long been deserted—not a soul in sight, not even a shadow, let alone anyone breathing.

He suddenly recalled what happened in the Office Room a few afternoons ago and massaged his temples. She actually said she didn’t want to lie to .

Maxwell Peary clenched his fists and flung himself wearily onto the sofa. After resting for a mont, he grabbed his suit jacket and strode out.
"Has Madam returned yet?" Maxwell Peary pressed the elevator button, paused, and called the butler.
"No."
Frederick Goldsmith was puzzled. It’s so late, and neither the Young Master nor Madam have returned. Did they go out to eat? Unexpectedly, the Young Master called at this very mont, and importantly, he was looking for Madam. Huh, could they have gotten separated?
"HMM." Maxwell Peary acknowledged and was about to hang up when Frederick Goldsmith, sensing his intention, instantly raised his voice.
"Young Master!"
"What is it?" Maxwell Peary furrowed his brow; the loud shout intensified his headache.
"Tonight, you’re returning to the Mountain Villa. Does Madam know the location?" Frederick Goldsmith kindly reminded him, afraid that if Maxwell Peary found out Nia Mitchell hadn’t returned, he wouldn’t go looking for her and would just drive back himself.
