Nia Mitchell tightly grasped the bedsheets on either side of her, eyes shut, refusing to look at anything.
Seeing Rabina like this, a smile played at the corners of Maxwell Peary’s mouth.
He shook his head helplessly, but he didn’t let her off the hook.
Bowing his head, he claid her captivating, dream-inducing lips.
Sweet!
Indeed, this touch felt miraculous.
Nia could only passively endure his kisses, his fierce demands.
As their passion deepened, Maxwell’s hand deftly opened the drawer of the bedside table, retrieving the condoms he’d bought at the Supermarket.
"Mmm..."
Suddenly, Nia made a sound, her feverish little hand resting on his arm, her eyes glazed.
"Stop it."
His voice was no better, slightly raspy, with an inexplicably seductive, hazy allure.
Nia shook her head, clenching her teeth, a little afraid to et his gaze.
"Didn’t we say we wanted a child?"
Her implication was clear: since they’d already decided to have a child, there was no need for a condom.
Maxwell froze. An enigmatic smile touched his lips as he lowered his head slightly.
"Darling, we’ll try for a child a little later."
With that, not allowing her to refuse, he reached for the condom...

She reached for her phone. No missed calls. It was already ten in the morning.

It was all the CEO’s fault; she had overslept and missed work again.
She imdiately called Maxwell.
"Uncle."
Nia’s voice was still hoarse and dry.
"Mm,"
Maxwell was sitting in his Office Room. He put down his pen and started talking with Nia on the phone.
Hearing Maxwell’s voice over the phone, Nia hesitated.
She blushed as she recalled the events of that morning.
"Why didn’t you wake up today?"
Nia’s voice was quiet and soft, the kind that always stirred Maxwell’s emotions.
"You were tired, weren’t you? You needed a good rest."
Maxwell was quite pleased to have tired her out this way.
Nia froze for a mont, then pouted.
"I wasn’t tired! If you’d woken up, I would’ve gotten up. Look, I still haven’t gone to work. You’ve made late again!"
Nia began to bla him for his lack of restraint and for not waking her.
Maxwell listened to her words and shook his head helplessly.
"What did you say? Not tired?"
Such words seed to question his abilities, feeling like a direct challenge.
The CEO, when it ca to such remarks, actually cared quite a bit.
Every ti he saw his delicate wife so tired she was motionless, not even wanting to lift a finger, he was filled with imnse satisfaction.
But Nia, of course, didn’t know that.
"That’s right, I’m not tired."
She wanted to prove her stamina, to show him she could wake up early and go to work.
「At that mont, inside the MC Group, Maxwell’s expression darkened.」
He didn’t mind at all. Later tonight, he’d show her what ’tired’ really ant.
He was determined to make her admit, with her own mouth, just how very, very tired she was; he’d make her beg him to let her go.
Humph!
Having made up his mind, Maxwell’s eyes narrowed.
"Fine. If you’re not tired, then co to work right now."
