Maxwell Peary seed a bit panicked. He looked down at his handiwork; the bite mark was a bit red and deep, but it hadn’t broken the skin or drawn blood.

Maxwell Peary didn’t know how to comfort her. Her reaction left him at a loss.
Nia Mitchell sobbed, looking at the CEO who was still pinning her down. Anger welled up inside her.

With that thought, she angrily reached out, hooked her arms around his neck, and bit down hard on the CEO’s chin.

She said this timidly, her voice filled with a desperate hope that he would agree and graciously let her go.
However, reality and expectations often differ significantly.
Maxwell Peary didn’t even budge, let alone let her go.
"Nia."
His husky voice echoed in her ear as his Adam’s apple bobbed, his tone utterly bewitching.
Just those two simple words sent shivers down Nia Mitchell’s spine, and a tingling weakness spread through her entire body.
As if rooted to the spot, Nia Mitchell remained motionless, her mind a complete blank.
"I want you."
He lowered his head and whispered close to her ear, his warm breath caressing her earlobe. Instantly, her entire ear flushed crimson and felt hot.
Nia Mitchell felt an urge to scratch that ear, but she didn’t dare to move.

What am I supposed to say?
"I need to get up!"
She shyly tapped Maxwell Peary’s chest. This habitual little gesture made Maxwell Peary frown.
Is she... starting to hit again?
"Did you hear what I just said?"
He ignored what she was saying and instead pressed firmly against her, making her feel the urgency of his desire.
