It was terrifying. One couldn’t even bear to imagine Young Master Peary’s expression. He was going to destroy him, wasn’t he?
「Hospital—」
Mr. Mitchell was still in the Ergency Room. Molly Harguez was extrely busy, having to take care of Aldy Mitchell while also keeping an eye on the situation here.
Fortunately, due to Maxwell Peary’s influence, the Hospital was giving this matter special attention.
In the operating room was the Hospital’s best chief physician, who rarely perford surgery anymore.
Molly Harguez sat before Aldy Mitchell, looking haggard and sorrowful.
"Mom, I’m fine here. You should go check on Dad."
Aldy Mitchell was equally worried. He didn’t know what to do, especially since he was unsure how badly his father had been hurt.
Molly Harguez remained silent, just sitting there.
Although she was worried about Mr. Mitchell, if she went to the operating room area, she could only sit outside and wait; she wouldn’t be able to see anything anyway.
Rather than wait there, she thought it better to stay in the ward, where she could also look after Aldy.
"Mom, please go. I’ll be fine here."
Molly Harguez shook her head, not agreeing.
"Please, go. I’ll be fine here. Also, could you call the Police Bureau and ask about Sister’s current situation?"
Aldy knew Nia must have been terrified. This kind of thing was simply beyond what she could handle.
Lying there, unaware of exactly what had transpired, Aldy Mitchell deeply resented his own uselessness at a ti like this.
He was utterly useless, just a burden to others.
"Don’t worry. The Dean already ca by and said they’ll notify us as soon as the surgery is finished. You shouldn’t worry too much."
Molly Harguez’s words eased Aldy Mitchell’s mind a little. Indeed, the Mitchell family was receiving exceptionally considerate care at the Hospital at this ti.
It was only natural that the Dean himself would oversee this matter.
After all, everyone was now deeply afraid of Maxwell Peary; even if it wasn’t fear, it was certainly an attempt to curry favor.
Seeing he had cald down a little, Molly Harguez said no more and simply sat to one side.
Not much ti passed before Nia Mitchell arrived at the hospital ward, escorted by the chief of the Police Station.
She walked in slowly, her face deathly pale, her eyes slightly reddened.
"Sister?" he called out. Unfortunately, Nia Mitchell didn’t say anything.
Seeing Nia like this, he imdiately frowned, his gaze shifting to the chief of the Police Station standing nearby.
The chief of the Police Station was startled. Oh no, no, no! This kind of misunderstanding could be fatal!
"I assure you, I didn’t do anything! She was already like this when our officers arrived."
Just then, the Dean, having heard the police had arrived, also pushed open the door and ca in.
"Dean."
The chief of the Police Station looked at the Dean hopefully.
"Could you find a Doctor to check on Miss Mitchell? She appears to have suffered a shock."
Hearing this, the Dean imdiately nodded and dialed a number on his phone.
Nia Mitchell had indeed been badly frightened. After a Doctor examined her, she was prescribed so dication to calm her nerves and was also put on an IV drip.
Lying on the sofa in Aldy Mitchell’s ward, Nia Mitchell closed her eyes and gradually drifted off to sleep.
Mr. Mitchell was not in critical danger. Most of his injuries were superficial; the Dagger had not struck a vital area.
However, given his age, his recovery would likely take so ti.
Before long, he was wheeled out. At the family’s request, an extra bed was set up for him in the VIP Ward.
