Molly Harguez frowned, her face filled with exaggerated disbelief.
"Who knows!"
Father Mitchell was extrely angry. That rotten kid! Didn’t he say he was already married to Nia Mitchell? Is *this* what being married looks like? He’s probably married to soone else! The heiress of Swan Corporation, a childhood sweetheart, a pre-arranged marriage—what the hell is all this?
"Dad, call my sister."
Aldy Mitchell had already sat up in bed, his legs dangling over the side, looking as if he was about to get out.
"Oh dear, don’t you dare get out of bed! Don’t forget, your leg hasn’t fully healed yet."
Molly Harguez imdiately went over to support Aldy Mitchell, her face etched with worry.
Father Mitchell nodded and dialed Nia Mitchell’s number.
"Hello, Dad?"
Nia Mitchell was sitting in the CEO’s car as they drove towards the hospital.
"We’re about to arrive at the hospital. Is there anything you need us to bring?"
They had already inford Father Mitchell of their visit before setting off.

Nia Mitchell tried to guess her father’s thoughts with a smile, but this ti, she was completely wrong.
"Is Maxwell Peary with you?"
Father Mitchell’s face was grim. It seed his daughter was still in the dark about this.
"Yeah."
Nia Mitchell was a bit puzzled. Why would Dad call Uncle by his full na today?
"Pass the phone to him."
That tone clearly ant he was going to settle accounts.
Nia Mitchell frowned, bit her lip, and looked at the CEO beside her in confusion.
"My dad wants to talk to you."
Maxwell Peary was taken aback and imdiately pulled the car over to the side of the road.
"Dad."
Maxwell Peary greeted him, but as soon as he spoke, Father Mitchell on the other end of the line lost his composure.
"What the hell are you playing at, Maxwell Peary? Huh? Didn’t you say you were already married to Nia? Is there any point in deceiving us like this?"

His own daughter was so foolish too. How could she not even know if she was married or not?
