"Fine, just fine! You unfilial brat! I raised you for nothing!" Dong Mingfeng cried, enraged.
But Shen Youling just smiled, a smile more sorrowful than tears. "Unfilial? If I were unfilial, would I have offered to donate my cornea in your place? That's enough. Stop this nonsense and get out!"
Dong Mingfeng opened her mouth to curse again, but Shen Xin pulled her aside. "Leaving now isn't a bad thing. Once they don't need another cornea anymore, we can co back. It won't be too late."
"Huh? That makes sense!" Dong Mingfeng was convinced, and they slunk away dejectedly.

Shen Qiushi, however, smiled in relief. "Good grandson-in-law, Youling is still scared. You should comfort her!"
"Having a cowardly wife is such a pain," Lin Tang muttered.
"What did you say?!" Shen Youling's voice shot up.
「Soon, it was evening.」
Shen Youling still refused to let Lin Tang leave. Lin Tang contacted Lee Encai to make sure she was okay. Once he confird she was safe, he relaxed. He then crossed his legs and looked Shen Youling up and down.
"Why are you looking at like that?" Shen Youling glared back, seething internally. He's always thinking about Lee Encai!
"You're just acting strange."
"You're the strange one! You're filthy. Go take a shower now!"
"Alright, then." Lin Tang shrugged and went into the bathroom.
Seeing this, Shen Qiushi laughed in exasperation. "Youling, you're always so polite and gentle with everyone else. Why are you so harsh with Lin Tang?"
"I..." Shen Youling was taken aback. "Am I being harsh? I... I don't know why. I just can't help but get angry when I see him."

Shen Youling took a deep breath and walked into the room. "Ahem, let help you."

Shen Youling was speechless.
"Alright, done. I'm going to sleep," Lin Tang said, flopping onto the bed and closing his eyes contentedly.

"It's late. We'll talk tomorrow. Go on, don't bother ."
"You—" Shen Youling clenched her fists, grinding her teeth. This man! Why was he so dense?
Fuming, she plopped down hard on the edge of the bed and then laid herself down.

"Are you insane?!" Shen Youling shrieked, throwing a pillow at him. She was at her wit's end.
"Are you really my wife? You feel like a completely different person. Since when are you willing to sleep in the sa bed with ? What, did you finally realize you're in love with ?" Lin Tang asked in disbelief.
"Bah! Who loves you... You said you needed to break through and required a session of Dual Cultivation, didn't you? I promised I'd help, and I don't go back on my word! Let's just get this over with." Shen Youling squeezed her eyes shut.
Lin Tang's mouth twitched. If I told her soone else already helped with the Dual Cultivation and that I don't need her anymore, would she die from rage?
"You're doing this willingly, right? In that case, I won't hold back!" He rubbed his hands together and moved closer. He slowly lifted her nightgown, revealing fair, glowing skin. Her stomach trembled rhythmically with tension.
