The most miserable of them all was Mu Fan.
He was drowning in regret! In the past, when they had surrounded and tried to kill Lin Tang, Mu Fan hadn't even shown up in person. He was in charge of logistics, cleaning up the aftermath, and other such things. He had watched Yan Luoyang and Yan Renjie's repeated failures like a spectator at a show. This ti was different. Seeing this, Yan Luoyang and Yan Renjie wanted to do the sa. Unfortunately for them, Lin Tang and Lee Encai didn't even spare them a glance. As a swarm of insects covered their bodies, furiously devouring them, Lin Tang turned and embraced Lee Encai.

Originally, all four swords were solid. But as they were steadily worn down, they faded into re phantoms, growing increasingly faint. At last, they completely dispersed into motes of light and vanished. The power the sword seeds had granted to Yan Renjie and the other three instantly failed, and with it, their last ounce of resistance. In a matter of monts, they were gnawed down to bare bones. Utterly dead.
「At the sa ti, in the endless abyss of an unknown land.」
The Mushroom God, which had been suspended in silence, suddenly went berserk. Its form rapidly expanded as it once again charged violently upward. In the blink of an eye, it reached the luminous barrier of the grand formation where the physical forms of the four Immortal Swords were located.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
It slamd against the barrier repeatedly. With each impact, the abyss trembled, and the rock walls on either side cracked and crumbled. In the past, the four Immortal Swords would have imdiately unleashed their power, forcing it back to the bottom of the abyss to continue its suppression.
This ti, however, they could no longer do so. The long ages had drained away most of their power, and the remainder had been all but exhausted in the recent battle with Lin Tang.
Thus, with a shattering CRACK, the barrier broke. The entire abyss was utterly destroyed. The Mushroom God, now swollen to a size of several thousand ters like so cosmic starship, pushed onward with all its might, suddenly finding itself amidst the starry splendor of the universe.
"I am finally! I am finally free!"
Even in the vacuum of space, its shrill, infant-like cries traveled far and wide. A massive teor shot past, and in a cathartic release, the Mushroom God collided with it. Countless mycelia covered the teor's surface, rooting deep inside. In an instant, the teor was absorbed and digested, reduced to fine, cent-like ash.
"Human world, here I co! Lin Tang, I rember you..."
The Mushroom God first wore a look of satisfaction as it retracted its mycelia. Then, with a sinister laugh, it sped toward the planet where Lin Tang and the others were located. Although its speed couldn't match that of light, it was able to teleport every so often, crossing several light-years with each jump. This ability alone was sothing Lin Tang couldn't hope to match. The distances Lin Tang could teleport within the human world were, by comparison, far too short. It was a true showcase of the terrifying power of a deity's true form.
Fortunately, no matter how fast it was, its speed ant little in the vast, boundless cosmos.
"Traveling like this, how many years will it take to reach the human world? This won't do. I must find another stepping stone..." The Mushroom God grew impatient.
In fact, there were many others like it, all divine beings, rushing toward the human world from different directions.
