Obito suddenly flew into a rage.
"I told you, Teacher Minato asked for you, it has nothing to do with Lin!"
Saying this, he followed Kakashi’s footsteps, heading back on the original route.
Suddenly, Obito turned his body, began to seal with his hands, gathering chakra in his mouth, then releasing it in a breath of technique.
"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!"
A gigantic fireball accompanied by the whistling wind instantly rushed toward the bushes.
A figure leaped out from the bushes, dodging Obito’s fireball attack.

That figure stiffened up before even regaining his footing.
The White Fang Short Knife glowing with moonlight pierced through his back to the front chest.

The Ninja clad in Hidden Rock attire was shocked to be stabbed from the back by a kid without noticing at all.
Kakashi withdrew the White Fang Short Knife, and the Hidden Rock Ninja fell dead.
"Kakashi, how did I do during our cooperation, were you shocked by my ninja technique? As long as I want to do it, this level I can still achieve. So next ti, don’t call a drag."
Obito said smugly, truly happy from the bottom of his heart to be able to work well with Kakashi.

Kakashi didn’t speak, just seriously gripping the White Fang Short Knife in his hand.

The sound of clapping ca clearly from behind the tree.
Obito swallowed hard, inexplicably feeling a dangerous presence approaching him.
A woman wearing white clothes erged from behind the tree, it was Ayane.
"Long ti no see, Kakashi. You’ve grown quite a bit over these years, that guy in Hidden Rock’s Chunin ranks was an outstanding ninja as well."
Ayane said with a nostalgic smile towards Kakashi.
"Hey, Kakashi, is she your acquaintance?"
Obito felt Ayane was familiar, but couldn’t imdiately recall where he had seen her before.
From the way she spoke, she seed quite familiar with Kakashi.
"Are you a fool?"
Kakashi’s forehead broke out in a cold sweat.
"Don’t call a fool!"
Obito glared at Kakashi in dissatisfaction.
"Listen, I don’t have ti to explain to you now, quickly go get Teacher Minato over here, this isn’t soone we can handle!"
Obito saw Kakashi’s hand holding the knife trembling with both fear and nervousness, so Obito froze for a mont.
It was the first ti he’d seen Kakashi showing such fear towards an enemy.
"Quickly!"
Realizing the urgency in Kakashi’s voice, Obito knew this woman wasn’t easy to defeat, but felt no fear, instead confidently pulling a kunai from the Ninja Tool Bag:
"Sorry, Kakashi, I am an elite ninja from the Uchiha, I won’t abandon my companions no matter what. Kakashi, if you want to escape, just go ahead, I’ll cover you!"
So, Obito grasped the kunai firmly, rushing towards Ayane without hesitation.
"Idiot!"
Facing Obito’s reckless behavior, Kakashi clutched the White Fang Short Knife, rushing towards Ayane even faster than Obito.
Need to intercept Obito before engaging Ayane.
Ayane smiled and raised her palm, gathering chakra.
Obito suddenly felt sothing was wrong, a massive pressure choking his throat, turning his face pale.
Imdiately realizing, this woman wasn’t a ninja he could handle.
He’s going to be killed.
The fear of death instantly occupied Obito’s mind.
It’s too late to retreat now.
Boom!
His body flew backward.
Blood spattered on him.
Obito stared blankly at Kakashi, who was standing in front of him, bearing the attack from the enemy, his mind a blank.
"Ka... Kakashi!"
He hadn’t anticipated such a scenario at all.
Body trembling.
Not trembling from anger or fear, but from his own incompetence.
The more he wanted to protect his companions, the more he realized his limited capabilities.
Emptiness, frustration, and the loss of confidence in his own strength filled his mind, then reflected in his eyes.
Obito felt sothing awakening deep inside his eyes.
A fiery, blazing power gathering in his eyes.
The chakra inside him also spread like flas, allowing Obito to clearly feel the sudden influx of a massive amount of chakra within his body.
