"What do you an those celebs? All the artists under Jiawen Entertainnt who aren’t busy will be there. You can pick anyone you like," Sun Wangbei flirtatiously batted an eye at Lin Junyang, his flamboyant manner almost unbearable to look at.
"As if I need that! When I stand there, I’ll outshine all the top stars in your company. Those female artists will be falling over themselves," Lin Junyang said proudly, lifting his chin slightly.
"Seriously though, Fifth Brother, with your looks, if Fourth Brother got you a top-notch manager and packaged you well, you’d be a superstar by tomorrow. What do you say, Fifth Brother? Quit the army and join us," Sun Wangbei suggested, his eyes filled with calculation as he looked through the rearview mirror.
"Forget it, compared to you, I still prefer to hang out with Second Brother," Lin Junyang gave him a disdainful look and relaxed back into his seat.
Chen Yankun couldn’t help but laugh, watching the two bicker reminded him of the good tis they had together.
An Ran opened her eyes; it was already bright outside, and the playful sunshine was bouncing through the heavy curtains.
She turned and saw that he was already gone, feeling a wave of relief. She really feared waking up to yesterday’s scene again. If that happened, she might have to tie herself up next ti she slept.
She got out of bed, lifting the covers, and upon taking a step, realized she stepped on the pant cuffs. Mu Xingfeng, this guy—his shirt was big enough that she could wear it as a nightgown, yet he insisted she wear a full set of pajamas, and those long pant legs—such a hassle.
An Ran impatiently slid her feet out of the pajama pants, just as the bedroom door opened. She looked up and t Mu Xingfeng’s deep eyes.
Mu Xingfeng glanced at the pajama pants on the floor and then at her bare, snowy white legs. His throat moved slightly—this girl, always setting his heart on fire.
He made her dress more modestly last night, just to avoid a repeat of the previous night’s torture. But despite being fully dressed, she still managed to roll over to his side in the middle of the night. With her warm, soft body next to him, he couldn’t sleep a wink, so he got up to take a cold shower and went to the study to handle so company paperwork.
An Ran, noticing Mu Xingfeng’s slight embarrassnt, chuckled dryly and picked up the pajama pants, walking over to him on her bare feet, "Instructor Mu, these pants are way too long. Honestly, your shirt alone works perfectly fine as a dress. There’s no need to wear these pants."
