"Do you happen to have another Space Folding Device?" Li Yu asked with a bashful smile. "I'd like to borrow one..."
"Borrow?" Old Ghost was rendered speechless. This was practically a brazen robbery!
"Forget it if you don't..." Li Yu sighed heavily. "It's a pity about all these Gene Chains in this warehouse. Since I can't take them, then..."
"Stop right there..." Veins bulged on Old Ghost's forehead. If you can't carry your wall, what does that have to do with mine?!
Li Yu was issuing a naked threat. If Old Ghost didn't hand one over... no one was taking anything.
"Evie... co here..." Old Ghost waved his hand, summoning a subordinate. He took a white tal block from him and tossed it to Li Yu.

Old Ghost cursed under his breath. He grabbed Evie, yanked a Gas Mask out from the subordinate's coat, and tossed it to Li Yu.
"Boss!" Evie's face contorted in horror. The purple smoke had already enveloped them. A choked gargle rattled from his throat as purple veins began bulging hideously across his face.
The remaining subordinates collapsed one after another, and Board mber Charlie thrashed violently before finally dying.
Li Yu equipped his mask and ducked into a corner. His built-in Infrared Scan allowed him to peer through the dense smoke and spot blurred silhouettes.
Purple Sniper leaped onto the ceiling. The gun barrel rapidly reassembled and transford, locking onto the stairwell entrance.
Clunk! Clunk! Clunk!
Over a dozen grenades rolled in from the stairwell. Each one was the size of a fist, rapidly blinking with an ominous Crimson Glow.
Making up for a lack of quality with sheer quantity...
"Fuck!" Old Ghost's pupils shrank to pinpricks. Crimson wings unfurled from his back and wrapped tightly around his front to shield him from the impending terrifying impact.
Dense brown Scale Armor materialized all over Li Yu's body as he curled up into the tightest ball possible. The Purple Sniper on the ceiling began shifting forms and dropping down, but it required a crucial mont of ti.
Beep—BOOM!
Scorching flas mixed with lethal shrapnel blasted outward, accompanied by violent arcs of electricity crackling through the air. These were absolutely not standard grenades.
Purple Sniper landed directly in front of him, transforming into a sturdy purple shield that blocked the brunt of the frontal shockwave.
But the explosive force was omnidirectional. An endless barrage of fire and electricity continued surging in from the sides. Suddenly, a layer of purple light shimred over his skin.
