Gu Ningxuan indeed has no money, but that doesn’t an the "Gu Ningxuan" who believes in the saying "a cunning rabbit has three burrows" is broke. His hacking skills are almost on par with Su Mo and Changxi’s. Creating a few accounts to store Credit Points is totally stress-free for him.
Of course, Gu Ningxuan can easily do this too, but his character is too stubborn. Since he was kicked out of the Gu Family, he never planned to rely on that money again. Also, Gu Qidong only froze his accounts initially, and with Gu Ningxuan’s own abilities, unfreezing them would be no problem, but he just hasn’t done it! In the eyes of the second persona, this kind of behavior is just self-inflicted.
After retrieving so Credit Points, a string of zeros imdiately appeared in the smart account. The second persona went to the store and bought a bunch of candies with different flavors. The first stop was to check the mall for any new chas, and the second stop was to hit the bar to flirt with so girls... Of course, don’t doubt his ethics; he’s just flirting, at most playful banter, never touching.
He also knows that if he dared to do more, the first persona, waiting inside, would definitely go crazy and drag him back no matter what.
"Hmm, these chas are really nothing, not as good as the blue cha model..." He said, looking at the giant projected chas, shaking his head with a hint of disdain as he assessed the data configurations.
The blue cha model he ntioned was the "Ice and Snow Emperor" that Su Jiang gave to K3. The second persona had been enamored with it for a long ti, but unfortunately, the first persona was too domineering, and he couldn’t even go out to touch it.
Clearly, they are one person with the sa mories, so why be so stubborn?
But to be honest, there indeed are so differences in their mories.
Because of the subtle connection and relationship between them, most things done by the second persona are unknown to the first persona. Of course, when the two completely rge, the first persona will "rember" those things.
Thinking about the incident at the Su Family so ti ago, the second persona’s expression turned slightly subtle, seeming to struggle with sothing, then letting it go. He knew much more about the details of that day than Gu Ningxuan himself did, also understanding the hidden intricacies.
"Since it’s a rare day to enjoy so freedom, I won’t think about those annoying matters," the second persona muttered, holding a lollipop as he turned towards the bar, intending to relax and unwind in a different way. This bar had an adult the, restricting minors from entering.
Because it wasn’t yet nightti, there weren’t many people in the bar, so the second persona quickly found a spot that was both available and conveniently located, asked the bartender for a drink, and rested his chin on his hand, idly watching the bartender’s dazzling mixology skills with a lollipop in his mouth.
"Thanks." He politely thanked and took a small sip, finding the taste of the drink quite decent.
In contrast to the solemnity of the first persona, the second persona always bore a friendly yet slightly roguish smile, having a more profound effect on won.
Even though there weren’t many people around now, soone quickly took the bait. But unfortunately, the person wasn’t to the second persona’s liking... Despite having a great figure, should he ntion that the opponent’s cheap perfu was unbearable?
He deftly avoided her advances, ignoring her overt and covert invitations.
The other party was well-versed in such environnts, naturally noticing the second persona’s rejection, then gracefully smiling, blowing a kiss before leaving to find the next target.
The second persona glanced at the drink that had been tampered with and laughed as he asked the bartender for a new one. In a place teeming with all sorts of characters, being a bit cautious keeps one from ending up in a bad spot.
There was a stream of people trying to flirt, all dismissed by the second persona. But then... seeing the man in front of him with a sowhat inexplicable grin, the second persona awkwardly twitched his mouth. Why on earth did a gay guy co trying to hit on him?
Luckily, Du Chenshuang didn’t know he was being mistaken for being gay; otherwise, he’d surely blow up in anger! He’s such a manly man, how could he be mistaken for gay? Says who that just because a man hits on another man, he’s gay? That’s ridiculous logic!
"Do you need sothing?" The second persona didn’t recognize Du Chenshuang, assuming he was there to flirt, his eyes clearly conveying a desire for him to leave.
"Actually, I do have sothing to ask Mr. Gu," Du Chenshuang hesitated for a while but finally decided to confront Gu Ningxuan, "Do you rember what happened at Nocturnal Song City? That fight was truly spectacular."
The second persona searched his mind and was well aware of the incident, also knowing the serious and rigid first persona had taken so trouble for soone because of it. With thoughts swirling, the second persona had a consideration... ntioning that event, the person in front of him was probably here to investigate.
"Naturally, I rember. But who exactly are you, and why are you asking about it?" The second persona smirked disdainfully, revealing a teasing smile, "You’re not an Alliance officer; what right do you have to demand an answer from ? Even if you were, there ought to be credentials and a warrant! If I don’t want to respond, I don’t have to..."
Du Chenshuang’s expression froze slightly, then he said, "I just want to know the situation back then; it’s related to a certain case."
"I don’t want to cooperate," the second persona replied swiftly and cleanly. "I have the right to remain silent about everything that happened that day. If you’re aware of that day’s events, you should know I lost my job because of it, right? Opening soone’s wounds isn’t a good habit."
Du Chenshuang continued, "This matter is significant. If I really go to apply for an interrogation warrant, it won’t look good for you then."
Gu Ningxuan is a Gu Family mber expelled from the family; if he ends up getting interrogated, it would certainly be entertaining to watch. (To be continued.
