When Gao Xinhua arrived at the courtyard, Xu Chunliang was hanging upside down on the horizontal bar doing sit-ups, with his shirtless body covered in sweat glistening in the morning light. Gao Xinhua didn’t disturb him, lighting a cigarette and silently helping him count.

After finishing a cigarette, Xu Chunliang was still going.

Gao Xinhua secretly admired this young man’s strong physique, thinking that even when he was young in the army, he couldn’t reach this level.

Only after Xu Chunliang completed his sets did he stop to et him, picking up a prepared towel to wipe his sweat and saying, "Uncle Gao, it’s Sunday, you’re not resting at ho, why have you co to Huichun Hall? Did you get a stiff neck again?"

"You never wish well."

Xu Chunliang invited him to sit in the courtyard and went to pour a cup of Bitan Piaoxue tea for him. Gao Xinhua sat in the courtyard, watching the koi swimming in the nearby pond, and complinted, "This fish pond is quite beautiful, I don’t think I saw it the last ti I was here."

Xu Chunliang told him it was arranged by Zheng Peian, and the fish were purchased by his grandfather and placed there not long ago. Xu Chunliang sensed that Gao Xinhua probably had other matters to discuss with him.

Sure enough, it didn’t take long for Gao Xinhua to bring up the issue of Tingi Breast Enhancent. Though he asked indirectly, Xu Chunliang could tell that Old Gao was here to plead for soone, likely approached by Pei Lin.

Gao Xinhua actually didn’t want to take this task; it was Director Zhao Feiyang who asked him to diate, as Zhao Feiyang himself wasn’t in a position to step in.

Gao Xinhua didn’t even know when Pei Lin got involved with Zhao Feiyang, but since the director had requested it, he couldn’t ignore it, especially as Xu Chunliang was working at Changxing. Displeasing Zhao Feiyang would certainly lead to his discontent.

Zhao Feiyang specifically instructed not to ntion him.

Gao Xinhua understood that Zhao Feiyang wanted to avoid suspicion, but what could have been resolved with a phone call had to be addressed by soone else, leaving Gao Xinhua feeling caught in an awkward situation.

Xu Chunliang gave him a look that suggested an intriguing thought had crossed his mind. Gao Xinhua felt his once favorable image in Xu Chunliang’s eyes had diminished sowhat; could Xu Chunliang be suspecting he had so kind of special relationship with Pei Lin? Feeling a bit guilty, he explained that Pei Lin was the daughter of an old friend, then thought it was unnecessary and over the top.

Xu Chunliang smiled, "You don’t need to explain to . Actually, this matter has nothing to do with our Huichun Hall. We’ve already helped them a great deal; if grandfather hadn’t sold them the cooling ointnt, the Tingi Breast Enhancent would have been shut down by them." He lowered his voice, "Uncle Gao, there’s sothing I’m not sure whether to say or not."

Gao Xinhua told him to go ahead, already anticipating it wouldn’t be sothing pleasant.

"Although Pei Lin is quite good-looking, her status is rather sensitive. Be careful when dealing with such people."

Gao Xinhua’s face ward with embarrassnt. This kid certainly didn’t think the best of him. What dealings could he have with Pei Lin? She’s a drug dealer, and he’s not responsible for purchasing pharmaceuticals. He really didn’t know how Zhao Feiyang even got to know her.

Gao Xinhua couldn’t exactly sell out Zhao Feiyang, and awkwardly laughed, "You just love to talk nonsense. If you can help, then help out; it’s not easy for people to do business."

"But you can’t just do any business, can you? You reap what you sow; these breast enhancent agencies are just conscience-less moneymakers."

Gao Xinhua couldn’t really continue the conversation, took a sip of tea, and then talked with Xu Chunliang about workplace rules and the matter of him being temporarily deployed to Quality Control Group 2, explaining that the transfer wasn’t Zhao Feiyang’s idea. It was Yan Huaiyi who specifically requested him, and Zhao Feiyang couldn’t retract his previous statent. He advised Xu Chunliang not to worry, and once the quality control inspection was over, he could return to his original job.

Xu Chunliang didn’t have much attachnt to his work at the dical office, and he hadn’t thought of staying at Changxing for a lifeti. It was a temporary asure for him to first repair his internal energy ridians and resu training with the "Tongtian Canon." Regarding his future, as the phrase goes nowadays, it should be "as vast as the stars and sea."

Yan Huaiyi’s decision to na him for Group 2 could be seen as a desperate counterattack. Even in Gao Xinhua’s opinion, it stemd from Zhao Feiyang’s overly harsh and ruthless blow to Yan Huaiyi. Even a Buddha can feel anger. No matter how submissive Yan Huaiyi was, he couldn’t tolerate Zhao Feiyang’s public humiliation, but Xu Chunliang unfortunately beca the pawn in their struggle.

Gao Xinhua advised Xu Chunliang to make as few enemies as possible in the workplace. To have a long career, one must be magnanimous, learn to be lenient with others, and understand the art of letting go.

Xu Chunliang could discern that he’d circled back to the issue of Pei Lin. He could agree with Gao Xinhua not to kick soone when they’re down, but he wasn’t obligated to put out the fire for Tingi Breast Enhancent. It conflicted with his principle of repaying evil with good.

Tingi Breast Enhancent brought its fate upon itself, and shutting down such scam agencies with false advertising is a good thing for society.

Elder Xu saw the patient off, and then ca over to speak. Gao Xinhua couldn’t reason with Xu Chunliang and had to turn to him. Xu Changshan imdiately asked Xu Chunliang to help diate, not because it’s better to resolve than to form enmities, but because it’s good to forgive when one can.

Xu Chunliang had long expected that Gao Xinhua would eventually use Grandpa to exert pressure on him; that old Gao is cunning indeed. Seeing Gao Xinhua’s smug smile, Xu Chunliang refused to let him feel at ease, and thus ntioned being assigned by the hospital to the countryside for quality inspection. He’d be at the Weishan Island Hospital for about three weeks as part of a month-long dical quality inspection.

Xu Chunliang deliberately made it sound pitiful, as if he was being targeted by soone on purpose. After stirring up the situation, he quickly found an excuse to leave.

Gao Xinhua secretly felt troubled, as Elder Xu’s gaze had already turned sowhat unfriendly.

Xu Changshan asked Gao Xinhua how he had initially promised him. He had agreed to look after Xu Chunliang and maybe transfer him to the Traditional Chinese dicine Departnt in the future, but instead, he had been sent directly to the countryside.

Gao Xinhua spent a lot of effort to clarify this matter: Xu Chunliang wasn’t being sent away for punishnt but rather for gilding, as the hospital leaders intended to reuse him. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have let him join the quality control team; his going to the Weishan Island Branch was temporary, and he would return to the main hospital once the quality inspection work was completed. An external assignnt is certainly a good thing, generally only granted to those on the brink of promotion.

Xu Chunliang didn’t give Gao Xinhua face regarding this issue. After all, Perfectly Beautiful Bust Enhancent was initially at fault, and his not hitting them when they’re down was already being kind. In so sense, selling the cooling balm to those custors was already a show of rcy; otherwise, Perfectly Beautiful Bust Enhancent would have been smashed to nothing.

Through negotiations, the Perfectly Beautiful Bust Enhancent side agreed to refund the money previously paid by these custors and cover their dical expenses and lost wages.

Almost simultaneously, the headquarters of Perfectly Beautiful Bust Enhancent was investigated for false advertising misleading consurs, affecting franchisers in multiple locations.

Pei Lin, lanting the misfortunes that never co singly, also realized that big happenings might be coming to this business line; she decisively chose to close the store and had Pei Yu notify all custors to co for refunds within the period. The initial estimate of their loss this ti exceeded a million.

Huichun Hall finally regained its forr tranquility. Xu Changshan saw the empty parking spots in front of the Perfectly Beautiful Bust Enhancent next door and checked out their closure notice at the door.

Pei Lin and Pei Yu, the two sisters, happened to co out from inside. Upon seeing Xu Changshan, Pei Yu gave him a spiteful glare, believing that their present misfortune was entirely due to him.

Elder Xu certainly wouldn’t stoop to her level. Pei Lin had Pei Yu load things into the car first and smiled, greeting, "Mr. Xu, I was just about to co over to let you know, we’ve already closed this store."

Xu Changshan said, "If there’s anything you need help with, just say the word."

"Mr. Xu, you’ve already been a huge help to us. If it weren’t for you curing those custors, we couldn’t have resolved this dispute smoothly. Oh, and a big thanks to Director Xu for helping to diate."

Xu Changshan expressed that being neighbors, looking out for each other is only right, encouraging Pei Lin not to lose heart over a temporary setback. The old man, kind as he was, though he disapproved of Perfectly Beautiful Bust Enhancent’s actions, couldn’t help but feel a twinge of empathy upon witnessing their downfall.

He originally thought that after experiencing such losses and a closure event, Pei Lin would be deeply affected. Yet her expression remained calm and unruffled, making Xu Changshan realize that Pei Lin was far from the delicate person he imagined—in her youth, she possessed a resilience like old bamboo in deep mountains. Even Elder Xu appreciated her mindset.

Pei Lin said she would co to see Elder Xu in the future, yet Pei Yu, waiting impatiently, questioned what she could possibly discuss with Old Xu.

As Pei Lin started the car and drove a distance away, Pei Yu was still gazing wistfully at their store. Facing such failure at the start of their business inevitably brought feelings of depression.

Pei Lin encouraged Pei Yu to look on the bright side; a blessing may co from the loss of a horse. Now, with issues at Perfectly Beautiful headquarters, they would have been affected regardless of this mass allergy incident.

Pei Yu wasn’t as optimistic, thinking that just their initial investnt alone was close to two million. As soon as the business showed signs of improvent, they encountered such a significant problem; not only had the investnt not been recouped, but they had to compensate those custors first. It truly was a huge loss this ti.

Pei Lin believed the situation wasn’t so dire. Although a lot had been invested upfront, most costs could still be recouped through the transfer of the storefront, and not all custors demanded refunds. Pei Lin had it all calculated, and if all went well, the final loss could be kept under half a million.

Pei Yu maintained her opinion that Huichun Hall was to bla; everything was their doing. Pei Lin dropped her off at the community gate. Just then, soone called inquiring about the transfer of the store; Pei Yu screened several interested parties, tentatively deciding to transfer the store to a clinic.

Although the transfer price was sowhat lower than others, Pei Yu had to choose him. Having been sched against but pretending as if nothing happened, she could never do that. Images of Xu Chunliang’s arrogant deanor flashed in her mind: he might look down on her today, but one day she would make sure he would never dare to again.
