From Trash to Treasure: The Sinclair Family's Beloved Genius Chapter 39: Jasper Shaw Sank into Deep Doubt
They had always thought giving Chloe the best of everything was enough, but they never once considered what Chloe truly wanted.
The more Ethan Sinclair thought about it, the more he blad himself.
Nina Sinclair was leaving today. He had originally planned to see her off; after all, they had been brother and sister for eighteen years, and he still had so affection for her.
But Chloe Sinclair’s words had been a rude awakening.
’Perhaps Nina Sinclair had never considered them family from the very beginning.’
’All this ti, the only one who had been wronged was Chloe.’
"Nina, I know the Sinclair Family has treated you well. Even after Chloe returned, you’ve had everything she has. You’ve disappointed so much."
After he finished speaking, his gaze swept to Mrs. Logan. "See the young lady out."
Mrs. Logan knew she had misspoken, so while Ethan Sinclair was talking, she cowered to the side like a quail, not daring to make a sound. When she heard his order, she nodded quickly and, without another word, led Nina Sinclair out of the villa.
Once outside the villa, Nina Sinclair was seething.
"Mrs. Logan, you just made Ethan misunderstand !" Nina Sinclair was frantic, and her tone was sharp.
"Nina, I... I didn’t an to."
Mrs. Logan still hadn’t quite processed what had happened and could only apologize profusely to Nina Sinclair.
She believed she was the one who had dragged Nina Sinclair down.
"Then what am I supposed to do? If my brother really misunderstands , will I ever be able to co ho? They’re the only three family mbers I have!"
As she spoke, a glint of cunning flashed in Nina Sinclair’s eyes.
Mrs. Logan’s heart ached for her. After a mont of silence, she promised, "Nina, don’t you worry. I’ll make sure you can co back, no matter what."
Nina Sinclair was secretly delighted, knowing the other woman had taken the bait. Her tone softened. "Mrs. Logan, I’m sorry about before. I was just so anxious that I got angry with you."
Mrs. Logan was taken aback, but pleased. "It’s nothing, nothing at all. It was my fault for not watching what I said and just blurting out the truth."
Nina Sinclair’s lips curved into a faint smile, but she said nothing.
As she was about to leave, Nina Sinclair added, "Chloe misunderstood a little today. If you get a chance, could you help explain things to her for ?"
Mrs. Logan thought to herself that Nina Sinclair was just too naive. At the sa ti, she was aware of Nina’s awkward position now, so all she could do was nod.
After reluctantly seeing Nina Sinclair off, Mrs. Logan finally returned to the villa.
But when she got back, Chloe Sinclair was nowhere in sight.
And the person Mrs. Logan was looking for, Chloe Sinclair, was lying on her bed at that very mont, staring at her phone in a daze.
She had been waiting for a text from Jasper Shaw since last night, but even now, there was still no word from him.
After a while, Chloe Sinclair’s eyes grew heavy. Her eyelids kept fluttering shut, and before long, she had drifted into a deep sleep.

「Shaw Group」
Beneath Jasper Shaw’s sharp, heroic brows, his eyes, as bright as a field of stars, were as deep and cold as a winter lake.
And at this mont, the man was staring blankly at the world’s most advanced, yet-to-be-released smartphone in his hand.
"Ian, set up a WeChat account for ."
After a long mont, the man finally spoke.
But his first words left his assistant, who was standing nearby, completely stunned.
Ian Winters thought he had misheard. He hesitated for a mont before asking, "What did you just say, sir?"
The man slowly raised his head, a flash of helpless frustration in his eyes. "I told you to set up a WeChat account for . Is that hard to understand?"
"Got it, got it." Ian Winters quickly shook his head and muttered, "That’s sothing the younger generation is into. I just thought you wouldn’t be interested, sir."
Jasper Shaw raised an eyebrow and stopped Ian Winters before he could leave.
"Do I look that old?"
After saying this, he rubbed his chin, suddenly beginning to doubt himself.
’After all, I’m already twenty-eight...’
