I watched as she stares at silently for a few monts, almost as if she doesn’t want to give an answer. But that’s when a look of interest seem to be forming on her face, maybe she is considering if it’s worth telling .
This place is still not one I understand in the slightest... Not even with the woman standing before do I get why I’m here right now. It’s so bright in here and I still feel like I’m floating just like the abyss.
That’s one thing they both seem to have in common but I don’t feel like I’m drowning in here compared to there.
"Seraphine Vox. Your people already talk of , not that you’d know that otherwise." She says with a small smile across her face.
Seraphine Vox. I don’t ever think I’ve heard the na before so it must be in more of the popular cities. Elyndra probably knows of this Seraphine but a city like Ashvalis or even Caelmaris might not ntion her much.
She seems to have a goddess status to her if that’s what I had to guess, not like there’s much else to be assud. A hunter wouldn’t be capable of doing this right?
"What exactly are you?" I question with a bit of curiosity.
She lets out a small chuckle before regaining her composure. "I won’t be answering everything you ask, especially not with the first eting. Rokuro you have more important things to focus on. Wake up." She responds with a bit of excitent behind her words.
Everything disappears within a matter of seconds as I jolt up in my bed... Realizing that the sun is shining into the room once again and that everything was so sort of weird dream.
I took the chance to get up and look out the window, everyone outside right now seems to be setting up for the day. I guess people do have to get back to how things were before the attack.
Seraphine Vox. I don’t think I’ll be able to forget that na any ti soon. I still can’t understand why I woke up within that place to begin with.
She said people rarely ever make it there so it is possible for others to find but what are the chances of anyone finding it? Can we even gain anything from finding such a place, why would it be possible to get there?
Gah, too many questions, not enough answers. I’ll just have to figure it out as I go since no one is just going to hand the answers I seek.
If that was the case then I wouldn’t need to do anything anyway. The journey would be completely pointless for to pursue.
At least today I’ll be getting a rank promotion for helping defend the city yesterday against that large ass attack. Quite a few people are probably being rewarded for helping, not just us.
"Rokuro? Everything okay?" Ghost asks softly from behind .
"Yeah. I’m just taking a look at everything below, making sure it’s alright." I respond while staring out the window.
I didn’t think anyone else was up yet... Not that I have a good reason to assu it. My mind is all over the place because of these powers awakening.
I scratch my head while turning around to face ghost. "Nothing else is noticeably different, right?" I ask with a bit of concern in my voice.
"Hmm. Nope." Ghost responds after observing for a few monts.
"Rokuro you have nothing to worry about yet. Hehe." Lilly chis in with a small laugh afterwards.
She hasn’t been the most serious person I’ve t out of the people I’ve encountered but I guess it’s sothing to get used to. Lilly is very strong and I’m sure we haven’t even seen half of what she can do.
Ghost also is working her way up with her strength which shouldn’t take long once I find the proper materials. Having. Two strong companions with for the ti being should be enough.
"Promotion ti! Promotion ti!" Lilly shouts with excitent in her voice as she prances around.
Here I thought she didn’t care less about anything but fighting.
"Yeah let’s get down there." I say while grabbing my stuff.
We packed up everything we needed before heading downstairs and over to Velgrade. It wasn’t as packed this ti so we could actually get through and into the hall.
The hall was a little busy this morning but it wasn’t unreasonable like yesterday so we could probably get everything sorted without a problem.
Ahead I could see the sa woman with the nice busty chest, double ds guaranteed. This ti I took notice of the na tag and it read "Alia". She looked just as annoyed as the last ti I ca in here.
Wait, I just thought about her in a pervy way again. Why is that I’ve done that with her but not with Ghost or Lilly? The interaction is probably what’s overwhelming ... Surely that has to be the case.
I’ve never been good with so many people, it’s a miracle I survived my walk through Caelmaris and even during the speech yesterday. Probably too tired to notice since we fought a whole army yesterday but Caelmaris I can’t really think of an excuse there.
"Ugh, it’s you again. What do you need now?" She asks with an irritated tone.
"Alia I believe we are owed silvite and a rank promotion." I respond with a calm and respectful manner.
She just looked at us with a bit of a shocked look on her face but then she noticed that I put the IDs on the counter. "A gentleman did tell about you guys but I didn’t think it was ’you’ but it is only fair." Alia says with a bit of disappointnt.
I watch as she goes back into a room to grab the silvite, it didn’t take her very long but she ca back with a pretty big pouch. "100 silvite each and your rank is going from E to D3." She says while activating sothing on the IDs.
It was cool to see how they changed on the cards but the silvite definitely felt kind of lackluster compared to everything we did. I guess Ashvalis isn’t a crazy rich city to begin with.
Would’ve expected the guilds to be handling silvite pretty well.
"Thanks." I reply as I take everything off the counter.
Ghost takes her badge from with an excited look on her face and it seems Lilly is the sa way. Both of them didn’t seem to be interested in the silvite but I’d keep it separated for them anyway.
Figuring out the next quest to take on is probably the best step to take.
