"It's a good day for a grave visit," the Berserker Master humd, popping the tab on a virtual beer can. "A good day indeed~"

He was sitting on a picnic blanket at the entrance of the ruined Ryuudou Temple. Beside him sat Asterios, the ten-foot-tall Minotaur, who was happily munching on a bucket of fried chicken.

The Berserker Master—let's call him Lee—was in an exceptionally good mood.

He was a strategy ga enthusiast. When he saw the chaotic free-for-all happening at the temple, he didn't panic. He saw an opportunity.

Max (the developer) had included a hunger chanic. Players had to eat every two hours or suffer stat penalties. Lee had used this downti to refuel, while his opponents burned their stamina fighting Caster.

But his real genius was the trap.

Chaos Labyrinthos was a broken Noble Phantasm, but it had restrictions.

Once deployed, it couldn't trap anyone else until the current victims died or escaped.

It had a massive cooldown.

Usually, trapping one person was a waste. But trapping three Masters and three Servants? That was the jackpot. It was a team wipe.

"Cheers, big guy," Lee said, clinking his beer against Asterios's massive fist. "We just eliminated half the lobby without firing a shot. Now we just wait for them to starve."

Asterios grunted happily. "at good."

"Yeah, at is good. And winning is better."

Lee leaned back, looking at the stars. He was already planning his next move. Find the Assassin. Trap him. Then hunt down the Archer. Easy money.

RUMBLE.

The ground shook. The beer can in Lee's hand rippled.

"Earthquake?" Lee frowned.

Above the temple ruins, the sky tore open.

It wasn't a cloud break. It was a jagged, black tear in reality itself. Green lightning crackled around the edges.

NEIGH.

Three divine horses burst out of the void, their hooves striking the air as if it were solid ground. They pulled a bronze chariot that was smoking and battered but still moving at impossible speeds.

"What the..." Lee dropped his beer.

The chariot slamd into the ground, gouging a deep furrow in the dirt right next to the picnic blanket. Dust and debris sprayed over the fried chicken.

The chariot door kicked open.

Maverick, Saber, Achilles, and the Gar Girl stumbled out. They looked battered. Their clothes were torn. They slled of ozone and void-stuff.

But their eyes were burning with murder.

"Yo," Maverick said, cracking his knuckles. "You seem to be in a good mood. Having a picnic? Mind if we crash it?"

"Your doomsday has arrived, you camper," Achilles spat, spinning his spear.

Lee scrambled backward, his face paling. "Impossible! The Labyrinth is inescapable! It's a conceptual trap!"

"We broke the concept," Saber said simply, her invisible sword humming to life.

"And now," the Gar Girl shouted, "you're going to eat so lead!"

She didn't wait for a dramatic speech. She pulled the pin on a frag grenade and tossed it.

But her aim was... questionable.

The grenade bounced off a rock and landed right next to Maverick's feet.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Maverick scread, his tough-guy facade crumbling instantly into pure panic.

"SORRY! MY HAND SLIPPED!"

Fortunately, Saber was on point.

"Strike Air!"

She swung her sword, creating a localized gust of wind that batted the grenade away like a tennis ball. It exploded in the air, raining shrapnel harmlessly over the ruins.

"Friendly fire!" Maverick yelled. "Watch the friendly fire!"

"I said I was sorry!"

[Chat]: [KekW]: FEMALE DRIVER MONT.

[Mod_Hamr]: @KekW You're banned.

[Team_Kill]: Maverick almost got taken out by his own team. Classic.

[Reaction]: Look at Lee's face. He looks like he's seen a ghost.

[Strategist]: His "Inescapable Trap" just got escaped. He's panicking.

Lee was indeed panicking. He scrambled to his feet, pulling out a submachine gun.

"Asterios!" Lee scread. "Kill them! Kill them all!"

The Minotaur roared, dropping his chicken bucket. He grabbed his massive twin axes and charged.

"I'll handle the big guy!" Achilles shouted. "Even with a bad heel, I'm faster than a cow!"

He engaged Asterios, his spear clashing against the giant axes with a shower of sparks. Saber joined him, weaving in and out of the giant's guard, slashing at his legs.

That left the Masters.

Maverick pulled out his dual Glocks—one his own, one gifted by Ryu before he died.

"Ti to dance," Maverick grinned.

He opened fire.

BANG. BANG. BANG.

Lee activated his own skill: Ti Alter (Double Accel).

He moved with supernatural speed, blurring as he dodged the bullets. He returned fire with his SMG, forcing Maverick to slide behind a piece of rubble.

"You're persistent!" Lee yelled over the gunfire. "But you can't beat ! I have more mana! You're running on fus!"

He was right. Maverick was exhausted. His health bar was flashing red.

"Chat," Maverick wheezed, reloading behind the rock. "I need a play. A big play."

[Chat]: [YOLO]: GO ALL IN.

[Speedrunner]: Max acceleration. Do it.

[Maverick]: But if I use Square Accel, I might die.

[Saber_Fan]: Do it for Artoria!

Maverick gritted his teeth. "Fine. All or nothing."

"Ti Alter... SQUARE ACCEL!"

His heart rate spiked to 400. The world slowed to a crawl. The pain was excruciating—his bones creaked, his blood vessels threatened to burst.

But he moved faster than thought.

He burst from cover. Lee saw him coming, but he was too slow.

Lee pulled out two grenades, intending to suicide-bomb them both. "If I go down, you're coming with !"

But Maverick smiled. It was a feral, desperate smile.

He raised his right hand. The last Command Spell flared.

"ARTORIA!" Maverick scread, his voice distorted by the ti dilation. "IT'S UP TO YOU!"

Saber, hearing the command, didn't hesitate. She disengaged from Asterios.

She turned, her sword glowing.

"Strike Air!"

She unleashed a blast of wind, not at the enemy, but at Maverick.

The wind hit him in the back, propelling him forward like a missile.

He flew through the air, closing the gap instantly.

CRACK.

Maverick's knee slamd into Lee's face at Mach 1.

Lee crumbled. The grenades rolled from his hands, unpinned.

"Oh sh—" Maverick realized.

BOOM.
