On the fourth day in Los Angeles — also the last day of his planned stay.
Luke's destination was Santa Monica Beach.
This place he was extrely familiar with from the ga GTA, yet was stepping foot on for the first ti in reality!
"Cloud hotown?!"
Sunlight, sand, waves, palm trees, and people everywhere in various bikinis sunbathing or playing in the water.
The air was filled with the salty scent of seawater, the fragrance of sunscreen, and the smoky aroma of barbecues.
Luke walked barefoot on the fine sand, feeling the cool seawater wash over the tops of his feet. He breathed in the slightly cool sea breeze and looked at the vast scene where sea and sky t in the distance. A few emotions rose in his heart.
In the past, he could only envy those rich and leisured people who could travel the world from behind a screen, while he was stuck in a rental room watching others "cloud travel" on short videos.
"Help turn myself in!"
"Help be free?"
Now, although he carried secrets and was in a hurry, at least he was truly standing on this foreign beach.
He strolled along, his gaze sweeping over those hot-bodied bikini beauties freely enjoying the sun, feeling relaxed.
His LSP (pervy) eyes automatically filtered out the Arican aunties…
However, the tranquility of this vacation paradise was soon broken by a sharp, urgent shout:
"Help! Help! Robbery! He stole my bag!"
Luke looked toward the sound and saw a black youth in a floral shirt and baseball cap, clutching a won's backpack, running frantically in his direction with a panicked expression.
Not far behind, several figures were chasing hard, led by what seed to be a girl.
Luke frowned slightly.
He didn't want to get into trouble, especially in a foreign country where he was unfamiliar with the place and people. Better to avoid unnecessary complications.
He stepped sideways to make way, intending to let the person pass.
But the black youth who robbed the bag seed high on drugs or too panicked from being chased.
Seeing Luke as an "obstacle" moving aside, he assud Luke was trying to stop him. A fierce glint flashed in his eyes. Instead of slowing down, he sped up, lowered his shoulder, clearly intending to ram straight into Luke and knock him flying.
"Courting death." Luke sneered inwardly.
With his current superhuman reaction and physical quality from 11 Constitution and 11 Strength, this straightforward charge looked ridiculously slow in his eyes.
His figure simply shifted slightly, dodging the frontal impact as nimbly as a ghost. At the sa ti, he naturally and seemingly unintentionally stuck out one foot.
"Thud!"
"Ouch! FUCK!"
The "Haji Black" felt his foot trip. He lost balance and fell face-first into the sand in a perfect dog-eating-shit posture, mouthful of sand. The bag in his hand flew out and rolled right to Luke's feet.
He struggled to get up, cursing nonstop.
However, just as Luke bent down to pick up the bag, a black figure with a fragrant breeze rushed straight toward him like a startled deer!
It happened too suddenly. Although Luke reacted extrely fast, the other party was also quick, charging from an angle. He had just picked up the bag and could only slightly tense his body—
"Bang!"
A muffled sound.
The figure slamd solidly into Luke's firm side chest, then…
Was bounced back by a powerful reaction force, staggering backward and falling onto her butt in the sand.
Luke only felt that the collision was extrely… soft and elastic, like hitting a water-filled balloon.
He looked closely and saw a girl sitting on the ground, holding her forehead, looking dizzy.
She had striking golden-blonde hair, delicate features like a doll, fair skin, and was currently wearing a pair of sowhat old-fashioned black-frad glasses, adding a scholarly and timid charm.
"Are you okay?"
Luke stepped forward, extended his hand, and asked in standard English.
His voice was calm, carrying a natural steadiness.
Mia felt her head buzzing. The collision just now left her seeing stars.
In a daze, she heard an extrely magnetic, cello-like pleasant voice above her.
She looked up, against the sunlight, and saw an Eastern face that was almost unrealistically handso looking down at her, with a trace of concern in his eyes.
In that instant, she felt her heartbeat skip several beats, as if struck hard by sothing. She felt dizzy and didn't even notice the hand he extended.
"I… I'm fine, I'm fine…"
Mia ca back to her senses, hurriedly grabbed the warm, strong hand, and stood up with his help. Two red clouds flew across her face: "I accidentally bumped into you… I'm sorry…"
She spoke incoherently, but her gaze couldn't help sticking to Luke's face — from his perfect jawline, to his broad and solid chest, to his well-defined arms…
Oh my God, that body proportion was like a model walking out of a fashion magazine!
Luke's ordinary white T-shirt and black sports pants couldn't hide his perfectly transford body at all!
Luke handed her the backpack: "Your bag."
"Thank… thank you!" Mia took the bag and hugged it tightly to her chest like a life-saving straw. "My na is Mia, Mia Daddario… That guy just now stole my bag when I wasn't paying attention…"
She bit her lower lip, secretly glancing at Luke. Her heartbeat was still pounding like a drum.
At this mont, a few more angry curses ca from not far away:
"Bitch!" "Asshole!"
Luke turned his head and saw three white girls in sexy bikinis, each with hotter figures than the last, rushing over aggressively. One of them was holding a volleyball.
Before he could react, "whoosh" — the volleyball flew straight at his face!
Luke easily tilted his head to dodge it.
Then, a flip-flop ca flying. This ti his luck was a bit worse, or the throw was quite tricky — "smack" — the slipper hit him squarely on the head.
"…"
Luke touched his head, feeling a bit speechless.
"Stop! Don't hit him! It wasn't him! He helped !"
Mia saw this and hurriedly waved her hands, rushing in front of Luke to block the three girls. She spoke rapidly to explain.
The three girls stopped, looking at Luke and Mia suspiciously, then at the robber not far away who had just been tripped by Luke and was now being pinned down in the sand by a black police officer who had rushed over.
At this ti, a uniford white patrol officer also walked over.
After so questioning and checking Luke's passport and visa, they confird he had nothing to do with the robber and had actually perford a "good deed."
The officer thanked Luke but also seriously reminded him: "Young man, courage is comndable, but next ti it's best to ensure your own safety first."
"This is Arica, not Dragon Kingdom. If that guy had a gun just now, you might have been shot."
He then turned to Mia and her companions: "Since the belongings have been recovered and that guy assaulted a police officer, even if you don't press charges, he'll still spend so ti in the station. Have a pleasant trip."
With that, he took the dejected robber away.
The three bikini beauties had now figured out the situation and looked sowhat embarrassed.
Especially the tallest one with the most explosive figure, deep brown long hair, and a pair of captivating blue eyes — she was Mia's sister, Alexandra.
"We're very sorry, sir."
Alexandra stepped forward gracefully and proactively extended her hand to Luke.
She was wearing a black bikini. Her full bust, slender waist, round and perky peach hips, and a pair of incredibly long, smooth white legs shone dazzlingly white under the sunlight. She exuded a mature, sexy charm, like a supermodel walking out of Hollywood.
Luke didn't even dare look at her for too long, let alone let his gaze linger on her body — the impact was too strong!
He had only seen this level of figure in movies and gas before.
"My na is Alexandra Daddario, Mia's sister. Please forgive our rudeness earlier."
She shook Luke's hand, feeling the firmness and warmth of his palm. A trace of surprise and appreciation flashed in her eyes.
Seeing that Luke seed a bit reserved and shy, she couldn't help but chuckle softly, her voice pleasant. "Are you from Dragon Kingdom? Traveling in Arica?"
"Yes, my na is Luke. I'm traveling from Dragon Kingdom."
Luke rubbed his nose, feeling a bit overwheld by her enthusiasm and… charm radiation.
The other two girls also ca over and introduced themselves.
One girl who was as tall as Alexandra and equally stunning in looks and figure was Jennifer Connelly, with a bright smile.
The other, slightly shorter but equally "well-endowed" with a gentle and sweet temperant, was Elizabeth Olsen.
All three were standard beauties wearing revealing bikinis, generously showing off their youthful and beautiful bodies, making Luke — this "shy" Eastern boy — not know where to look.
Jennifer and Elizabeth were even bolder. Not only did they scan Luke's body with fiery gazes, but they also used the excuse of apologizing and thanking him to directly touch his firm arms and well-defined chest muscles, letting out undisguised admiration:
"Wow! These muscles! Hard as stone!"
"And what a great body! Are you an athlete?"
"Are all Eastern boys this well-built?"
Mia, seeing this, imdiately beca unhappy. She quickly squeezed in front of Luke and spread her arms like a protective little hen to block her sister's two best friends:
"Hey! Don't do that! Luke is traveling alone in Arica and doesn't know the place. Don't scare him! Eastern people are more reserved. You're being too rude!"
Her words made the three girls burst into giggles, their bodies shaking with laughter, creating another wave of undulating scenery.
"Alright, alright, we won't tease your 'life savior' anymore."
Alexandra stopped laughing. Her gaze shifted between her sister and Luke. With a half-joking, half-serious tone, she enthusiastically invited: "Luke, since we're all here to have fun, why don't you join us? We're also traveling. The more the rrier!"
The other two girls also chid in, their eyes full of expectation and a hint of… mischief.
Faced with such warm and enthusiastic invitation from four top-tier "foreign beauties" in both looks and figures, Luke found it hard to refuse!
Plus, he was sowhat curious about this special girl Mia, so he "couldn't refuse the kindness" and agreed.
Mia looked especially happy and pulled Luke along to the changing rooms to change into swimwear.
When the two reappeared on the beach, both sides were slightly stunned.
Luke had changed into dark board shorts. His perfectly enhanced body, reaching the human limit, was fully revealed.
Broad shoulders, inverted triangle back muscles, sharply defined abs, firm and long yet explosive legs… Every muscle was as perfect as an ancient Greek sculpture, yet contained real power.
Sunlight poured over his honey-toned skin, as if plating him with a layer of gold.
This was different from the "sickly white" of Caucasian skin — it was a "healthy honey white"!
"Oh My God!"
Elizabeth dramatically covered her mouth, looking Luke up and down with shining eyes.
"God, he's like a walking sculpture! If he gets a tan, I'd be willing to be his fuck buddy for a year!"
Jennifer's gaze was even more direct. She unabashedly scanned the obvious bulge in Luke's swim trunks, licked her full lips, and whispered with a smile: "I haven't tried an Eastern boy yet…"
Even the experienced Alexandra had sparkling eyes full of appreciation.
She leaned close to her sister's ear and whispered encouragingly: "Mia, your luck has co! You missed the high school prom, don't ss it up this ti! You're already eighteen. It's ti to end your pathetic 'curse' before college starts. Think about all your bad luck before… seize the opportunity!"
Mia adjusted her glasses, looked at Luke's near-perfect body, her cheeks flushed, and nodded vigorously, quietly cheering herself on: "Mm! Go for it, Mia! This ti it'll definitely work!"
Luke felt uncomfortable under the four girls' burning gazes, like a rare animal in a zoo. He quickly put on a pair of beach shorts on top and felt much more at ease.
For the rest of the afternoon, Luke was "kidnapped" by these four enthusiastic Arican girls.
They dragged him to play in the waves, beach volleyball (although Luke controlled his strength, he still showed amazing athletic talent), and even the childish activity of building sandcastles on the beach. He also enjoyed the splendid sunset at Santa Monica Pier.
As the sun set, they insisted on dragging Luke to a beachside outdoor barbecue party.
The charcoal sizzled, grilled at slled delicious, and iced drinks were refreshing. Everyone sat together, chatting about everything under the sun.
Alexandra, Jennifer, and Elizabeth were all students at UCLA. This trip was specially to accompany Mia, who had just graduated from high school, on her "graduation trip."
They had outgoing personalities and couldn't stop talking once they started.
When it was Luke's turn to introduce himself, he kept a low profile and half-truthfully said: "I was born in a small place in Dragon Kingdom. After university, I worked like a slave in Peng City. Previously… just an ordinary office worker. I got lucky and earned so small money, so I wanted to co out and see the world."
"Wow! That sounds so cool! Like sothing from a movie!" Jennifer exclaid.
"You must be really lucky!" Elizabeth added.
Talking about "luck," the topic naturally turned to Mia.
The three girls took turns "exposing" Mia's hilariously unlucky history from childhood to now.
"Mia is our family's 'legend'!" Alexandra started. "From a young age, drinking water could choke her into the hospital, eating fish always got her a bone stuck, going on outings always ant heavy rain and hail, and she even got bitten by a snake!"
"School was even worse," Jennifer continued dramatically, "The school bus always drove away right in front of her, or when she caught up, the door 'just happened' to clamp her backpack strap! Teachers taking roll call would 'coincidentally' skip her eight out of ten tis!"
"Making friends was even harder," Elizabeth sighed. "Boys who got close to her either sprained their ankle playing ball or mysteriously broke their arm. Girls who wanted to befriend her would soon be ostracized by other classmates. Even teachers who tried to counsel her would encounter various small troubles. The worst one had an affair scandal exposed for no reason…"
"The most extre was the recent high school prom!" Alexandra slapped her thigh. "She finally got a boy brave enough to invite her as his dance partner, but that boy got hit by a car right after leaving ho. He's still in the hospital now. They say… he might be paralyzed from the waist down."
"And…"
Jennifer added mysteriously: "As far as we know, Mia has reached eighteen years old without a boyfriend, and she still has her first kiss! Hard to believe, right?"
Elizabeth delivered the final blow: "Actually, Alexandra was almost the sa before college! Luckily we pooled money to 'hire' Mike from the football team to 'break the curse' for her, otherwise I bet her college life would have been full of bad luck too!"
"You two bitches!" Alexandra pretended to be angry and made to hit them. "You two were country bumpkins before college too! And I almost made it onto the cheerleading squad!"
"You still didn't make it in the end!"
The three girls laughed and joked, spilling all of Mia's "glorious deeds" from childhood to the present.
Mia's smile gradually froze and collapsed. In the end, she almost cried, lowering her head and unconsciously twisting the hem of her clothes with her fingers.
Luke, listening from the side, had a dark expression.
What's wrong with being an 18-year-old virgin?
Is it that funny?
If it weren't for his "golden finger," wouldn't he still be a 26-year-old virgin too?
If it weren't for the kind maid in the other world, he would still be a chick right now…
He silently swallowed this "internal injury."
At this mont, Alexandra changed the subject. Her gaze shifted back and forth between Luke and Mia with a half-joking, half-serious tone:
"But speaking of which, Luke, look — Mia is 'cursed with bad luck,' and you are 'favored by the Goddess of Luck.' Today you just happened to bump into her (double entendre) and helped her… Isn't this a match made in heaven? It's just like a movie script!"
Luke was stunned.
Foreigners also believe in "taphysics" and "fate"?
Mia suddenly raised her head. Through her thick glasses, she looked at Luke timidly yet full of expectation.
The smoky aroma of the barbecue mixed with the salty sea breeze, the girls' silver-bell laughter, and the faint music in the distance intertwined.
Luke looked at the four girls with distinct personalities but equally vibrant and bright dispositions, feeling this relaxed and even sowhat indulgent foreign atmosphere that was completely different from Westeros. The string in his heart, which had always been tense due to secrets and ambition, seed to loosen a little.
Perhaps this unexpected encounter wasn't entirely a bad thing?
At least, during this Arican trip mainly aid at "making money and getting guns," he had unexpectedly gained a bit of… well, quite exotic "seasoning."
As night deepened, the lights and starlight of Santa Monica Beach shone together, illuminating the youthful faces of this group of young people on the sand.
Luke's Arican adventure seed to have gained another unexpected episode.
