The Rizen General felt a cold sweat matting his back as he listened to these powerhouses argue like children. This was probably the worst impression for these children to have of those who were truly powerful, but after you reached this level of strength, decorum beca little more than background noise.

Who cared about propriety when you didn't need to care about the opinions of others? This was what the real powerhouses looked like, no matter what territory you were speaking of.

Even so, the fact that they'd be arguing here ant that this matter was quite larger, and apparently only Fanelei truly understood what was going on.

"You accepted," Sylas suddenly said.

The words, spoken by soone other than an Ancestor, made everything fall into silence.

For one, to even have the montum necessary to stand right now should have been nigh impossible, let alone speak. Even for the General of the Rizen, there was a heavy lump in his throat. If he tried to speak, he would have to plan to shout just to force out a whisper.

Sylas' voice, though... it was calm, steady, and unhurried.

"Hush!" Fanelei suddenly said when she recovered.

The other Ancestors had been on the border of sowhere between shock and rage. Shock because soone actually managed to speak; rage because an F-tier-especially one so old-had no right to speak here.

They could act like children here, but that was only because they were amongst peers. As far as they were concerned, no one else here was worth their ti. Even when the large-bellied man spoke of Sylas, he might as well have not been here to him.

They felt they could see through Sylas with a single glance.

"That costs," Sylas replied calmly.

Fanelei's eyes narrowed.

Sylas was truly too smart for his own good. He didn't even know what was happening, but what he did know was that he now had sothing that Fanelei wanted very much-sothing that she didn't want the other Ancestors to know about.

"I'm trying to help you, boy," Fanelei said darkly.

Sylas looked at her deeply for a mont, and then he nodded.

"In that case, I apologize."

Fanelei blinked in shock again. Inwardly, she adjusted her thoughts on Sylas again. She didn't expect that he would have the capacity to say sothing like that.

She elevated him a few notches up-and then a couple down because he was so shaless. He didn't even seem embarrassed right now. What the hell was all that about?

It was true that she was trying to help Sylas. The less people knew of what happened here, the better.

Knowing that Sylas had a Perfect Spark Seed was fine-that was already sothing that she couldn't hide. But what she had done just now was far deeper than just that.

Fanelei didn't know what a Pure Spark Seed was, but she knew that what happened here wouldn't be triggered by a normal Perfect Spark Seed.

Before arriving here, what Sylas had sensed was Fanelei handing over the full inheritance. Between the pain and all the other things probing his body, his senses were so numb that he almost didn't notice.

But she had used this as a chanism to forcefully shut down the Runes from continuing their probe, and that had certainly saved him.

That said, the reason Sylas had pressed was because there was nothing a powerhouse of this level would do out of the kindness of her heart. She randomly selected him from so far away to hand over her inheritance just because he was talented?

What did him being talented have to do with her? He wasn't her son or grandson, nor was he related to her by blood.

The answer seed obvious after all the interactions with Karma Sylas had had recently. Clearly, he was able to help her substantially in so way, and she didn't want others to know of this. That was why he tried to extract sothing else out of this.

But even though Sylas was sure that his assessnt was true, he also believed her when she said she was trying to help him.

He had sowhat vetted out Fanelei and her character-at least in small part. But what about these other Ancestors? Clearly, she was trying to protect him in ways he didn't quite understand right now.

And how could he know? He hadn't even known Rune Mastery Seeds could be extracted in the first place until the Rizen General spoke those words just now.

However, considering they were testing for it, and given the fact he was just an F-tier, Sylas smartly concluded that anything like this wouldn't happen in this Guild-at least not in daylight.

Plus, what good was an F-tier Seed to these powerhouses, especially if it ca with strong drawbacks?

Even so, Fanelei was warning him. There was obviously sothing in all of this that he was still missing.

"Good. If your talents were ruined on these stupid wastes of air, it would be the sin of a lifeti. Anyway, I'll introduce you all to my Legacy Disciple now. Good day, goodbye."

She put a palm on Sylas' shoulder.

"What did you just—"

Sylas and Fanelei vanished.

The Ancestors stood there looking at one another, unable to believe it. When was the last ti any one of them had taken a Legacy Disciple?

Whether by coincidence or sothing else, they subconsciously looked toward Malikhi, who was kneeling even now with his gaze aid toward the ground.

To the side, Leia was frowning as hard as could be. Where was her chance to kill Sylas? Her grandmother lied to her!

Sylas blinked when the world stopped warping around him.

"Your spaceti affinity truly is high. Not bad," she said. Sylas didn't look disoriented at all.

While the teleportation just now was short-distance, its speed was on another level. It wasn't even a blink before they reached this region.

It was the equivalent of crossing into a new Horizon at the very least, but Sylas was unfazed.

After a while, she shook her head. "Do you have any idea what you've done?"
