Monfi stood there frozen for a long while. Even the crashing two halves of his hamr didn't make him move. Instead, it was the blood that dripped down from his chin to the ground that seed to shake him awake.

He shakily brought a hand up, touching it with a pair of fingers and then looking down at it.

Even after all of that, he couldn't seem to bring himself to look at Sylas directly. Yet, that sight wasn't one he could escape nonetheless.

His blood was such a bright crimson all sorts of light rebounded across its surface...

Including Sylas' gaze.

Monfi's heart shook as he saw the indifferent reflection reflected in his bead of blood. He felt almost like sothing inside of him was irrevocably breaking.

Sylas wasn't really looking at Monfi anymore, though. Instead, he had bent down, picking up a half of the fallen hamr head as though it was no heavier than a bouncy ball. Its actual weight, though, was closer to that of an entire small hill rather than anything remotely close to such a thing.

The surface of the cut was smooth, almost like it had fractured along the point it had always been ant to fail on.

There were probably very few weapons beneath the C-tier that could wtihstand a single swing of Sylas' scythe. His understanding of Runes was too deep.

Before, he had already been able to use Archon Casting to destabilize the Runes of treasures within a certain level and force them to implode. But now, he could just directly slice apart the weaknesses.

Was Monfi stronger than him in a raw sense? Probably.

Did it matter?

Not even the slightest bit.

Sylas' claws extended and he squeezed down.

BANG.

The hamr shattered to dust, leaving nothing but mots of ash dancing on the wind.

"Who else?" Nosphaleen asked coldly.

Not a single soul seed to know how to react.

Was Monfi the strongest of them? No. However, he was easily within the top ten of their D-tiers, at worst top twelve.

There wasn't a single one of their D-tiers that could defeat him so easily. Maybe there were a few C-tiers that could, but they were too hung up on one thing... Was Sylas really an E-tier?

Nosphaleen held back her smile as she continued to scan the crowd coldly. It seed that this was going to be easier than even she thought. She didn't know when Sylas had beco so strong either.

It felt like every ti she spent so monts in the Hibernation Realm, the Sylas she saw on the other end was countless tis more powerful than when she had last seen him.

She couldn't just remain in the Hibernation Realm anymore. It felt like she was missing so many important and critical monts in Sylas' life.

At that mont, though, soone sifted through the crowd until she stood by Monfi. She was of much shorter status, In fact, she was more than a head shorter than Sylas himself, but she still stood tall.

Bulese of the Lion Lineage.

"You are stronger than us now, but that doesn't an you will always be. Once we've successfully given birth to a God Beast, you will not necessarily be our better anymore."

Sylas, once again, did not get a chance to response. Nosphaleen flashed to his side, peering down at Bulese with the sa indifferent chill in her silvery blue eyes.

"I see the Emperor Sanctum deals in shalessness quite a bit."

Bulese's eyes narrowed. "No more shaless than trying to take control of a Sanctum by holding its yonug hostage. What do you think that accomplishes?"

"Oh. You would like my Master to defeat your Ancestors as well? How many shields do you plan to hide behind?"

"None." Bulese growled.

"Is that so? Because the only reason you have a chance to form God Beasts with any degree of hope for success is because my Master gave you the chance to beco Demi-Gods. Now you want to use that as an excuse to delay, and you sohow also want to claim its shaless for a mber of the younger generation to target others of the younger generation.

"You tell which is more shaless?" Nosphaleen asked coldly.

Bulese's gaze flashed with rage. She didn't have much of a chance to reverse things, she already knew that. She had already been grasping at straws.

Still, it wasn't nice listening to Nosphaleen poke holes in her argunt continuously. In fact, it was suffocating.

But the aggressive Nosphaleen was pulled back by her waist.

"You want a chance to form God Beasts? Sure." Sylas said indifferently. "You have five days left before everyone of your younger generation is wiped off the face of the universe."

Sylas vanished and in an instant, he had already appeared on Yaro's back once more. In another flash, they had disappeared into the distance.

Bulese shook from head to toe.

Only very few of them knew what the situation in the outside world was right now. After all, they had already been inside when the 714th Cycle was triggered early.

But their key mbers had learned of it. Plus, even those that hadn't been briefed were smart enough to put two and two together after seeing the notification their system gave them.

Finding the loophole on their own was one thing. But understanding how it was being exploited after it was already used was far easier. Many of them could do that.

They knew that Sylas had them by the balls and there was exceptionally little he could do.

But if he did, then why was he giving them a chance at all? What was the point of appearing here?

Sylas surfaced at the exit of the Mancy Scape. He could feel Yaro's nervousness beneath him. Whether the latter survived or not would be decided by whether his speculations and deductions over centuries actually held

up.

In a flash, they had exited.

Before Sylas could check on Yaro, his eyes narrowed.

Why were there teors falling from the skies?
