[Description: The Emperor Sanctum has been the subject of much scrutiny, and yet it has been little more than a pawn in the hands of others. The enemies of the Emperor Sanctum have taken hold of a weakness. Sohow, news that the Ancestors of the Sanctum are occupied has been spread. Enemies have co in droves, sending those at Level 200 and under in large numbers to escape detection of The Sanctum's formations.

With the Emperors that remain held in the shadows by unknown enemies, the younger generation of The Sanctum is pri for eradication.

How will you react, heroes of The Sanctum? Will the Legacy of your Ancestors fall here? Or will new life bloom from the ashes?] [Event Type: Survival]

[Eradicate the Potential of the Emperor Sanctum]

[Repel the attacking enemies]

Sylas raised an eyebrow. As the teors fell from above, crashing against the defensive formations of The Sanctum, one would have thought that the noise would have swallowed up everything else.

Yet, in action, what actually happened was that it was all drowned out by the screams.

The C-tiers and lower that had broken through had already made it through the formations. It was those beyond the C-tier that had been blocked on the outside.

But judging by those teors, it was clear that they didn't have any intention of stopping here. The Quickti Event seed to suggest that this would be a battle mostly decided by those beneath the B-tier, but the system had forever been missing a few screws.

If the barrier broke, this wouldn't be a nice little playground anymore. It would be an imdiate speed run toward death.

Sylas looked down from the skies and toward the Ancestors who were forced to remain in a focused ditation. Most of them probably still had no idea what was happening on the outside. Only the strongest of them could ever spare a tendril or two of their senses.

However, even they could only helplessly remain in place.

If they faltered now, the gate to the Mancer Scape would be swallowed whole, and the protective territory that allowed their youth to have a safe encampnt to return to would also collapse.

At that point, Sylas' threats would be aningless. The Sanctum would lose all of their people.

"SYLAS GRIMBLADE!"

A roar echoed across the skies.

"He doesn't seem to like you very much." Yaro said with a hint of amusent in his voice.

The Ape Emperor peeled across the skies but he seed too occupied by battle to actually pull away.

However, yelling out Sylas' na was definitely more than enough.

Sylas could guess the Ape Emperor's intentions. He hadn't liked Sylas from the beginning because of his disciple's death during the gathering. But the real reason he was doing this was because he probably thought that this was Sylas' fault.

The Quickti Event said that news had been leaked, and who else would both know of what was happening and be capable of using it to their advantage other than Sylas?

As expected, the mont the Ape Emperor roared, countless senses swept over toward Sylas.

"It might get a bit dangerous." Sylas said, speaking to both Nosphaleen and Yaro.

From what Sylas could tell, Yaro should be pretty stable so long as he remained in the void for the most part. As such, he observed even more illusory now than he did in the Mancer Scape. His power had also taken a hit because space in the Real World was a lot more difficult to bend and manipulate.

Yaro laughed. "They can't touch ," he said confidently.

Nosphaleen's grip on Sylas' arm tightened in response. It was like she refused to go no matter what.

Sylas nodded, ignoring the charging threats for a mont as he looked up at the formation barrier.

"You can strengthen the defensive formation, right?"

Yaro blinked and looked up. "I can use so temporary asures."

"How's your Rune Mastery?"

Yaro grinned, a pair of teeth and flickering eyes hovering in empty space.

"Better than yours."

Sylas didn't argue. He still had yet to understand what it was that separated Beasts that could use Rune Mastery and those that couldn't.

"I need it to hold for three days." Sylas said.

"Not an issue." Yaro said after a brief glance.

With a flicker, Yaro was already gone. With that handled, Sylas didn't worry about it any longer.

So long as the formation would hold for three days, everything on the ground here would be handled by Sylas alone.

Nosphaleen took a step forward and her body began to morph, large plus of silvery scales taking shape until she was covered from head to toe.

Her legs snaked into a tail and soon a large Serpentes with a gorgeous pair of rainbow-reflecting wings appeared in the skies.

Sylas looked at her but she didn't look back. He could guess her thoughts even without their connection.

She wanted to fight on her own.

"You should release Gogo as well." Nosphaleen said. "If we never fight on our own, we will only fall further behind

you."

A whisper trailed into Sylas' ears and then Nosphaleen roared into the skies. It was a roar that sank into the hearts and struck fear in the weak.

With a flap of her wings, she was gone.

Sylas' gaze flickered as his enemies continued to close in on him. After a short while, he waved a hand.

The doors to his Hibernation Realm opened miles away and another roar shook the skies.

Fine. He would let them go do as they pleased.

As for this battle... he'd love to see just how far his strength had grown without the advantage of the Mancer

Scape.

Sylas took a step forward.
