Flourishing changes began to take place in the descending disciples even as confusion lit their faces. They had no idea what happened in the outside world, but they could see the carnage. How could they guess that such a Quickti Event had happened in their absence?
But what they didn't know was that this was little more than Sylas keeping a promise. He had told Bulese that he would give them a chance to form a God Beast first.
Five days was too long, though. So he would just push them the rest of the way there himself.
Almost as though on cue, Monfi was the first to experience the change. His chest glowed with light, his veins racing with shimring Aether that peeked out through his very skin itself.
And then ca the roar of an Ape.
A crown appeared above his head, the aura of a King Beast radiating outward. But this wasn't the true mark of a God Beast. No, it was sothing else entirely.
That was when it happened.
The call of a Vulture pealed across the skies, black feathers flapping in the wind in an illusory downfall. It would have been so very beautiful if the sparkling black light could have been treated as such.
Sohow, it felt like a scene that touched at the very soul.
The eyes of the Ape Emperor lit up. One of his disciples was the first to take this step and beco a God Beast. And now that Sylas had improved the Lineages by so much, the worth of a God Beast was much higher.
What would happen if soone managed to awaken a combination Spirit of Ape and Serpent? Or Serpent and Whale? The thought honestly made him shudder.
Normally, it would be incredibly difficult to take advantage of this change. Even if they beca God Beasts, it wasn't like they could backtrack and reform their F-tier Genes.
But even that had been fixed by Sylas. They had no idea how, but it was like his Rune Mastery could forcefully change their Genes from an external source.
It didn't work on them as A-tiers, but they had felt it working on their youngest disciples.
Watching Monfi be reborn was like a tonic to their souls. The Ape Emperor nearly couldn't believe that just a few days ago he had wanted to take Sylas' head. And now he was probably rooting for him more than anyone else.
Almost like Monfi's breakthrough had shattered a dam, two won went directly afterward.
One of them was short and petite, having an expression so delicate one might have wanted to protect her with their life. Her short-cut hair only seed to make her all the more adorable.
But there was very little that was adorable about her power.
An unfamiliar power erupted from her, colorful feathers and colors of all sorts rippling out in every which direction. However, the Dino Spirit had hardly taken root when another roared in behind her.
In the midst of the sea of rainbow feathers, a pair of bright white gold wings took shape, the gorgeous outline of a Dove taking root.
Beside the short and petite young woman was another eruption of a Dove, a cascade of beautiful white gold flourishing. But right then, silky blue strands began to ripple out from her body.
The Whale.
Space bent and white gold feathers fell, a combination of speed and absolute defense and control wrapping around one another. Until now, it was almost certainly the most powerful of the combinations.
From within the battlefield, Deacon couldn't help but sigh. This woman wasn't his little sister, but was rather his elder cousin. She was a woman his little sister had always been jealous of, and if Deacon had to trace a mont where his sister's actions had beco the most self-destructive, it was certainly when she decided that she would never beat salene.
Now, that gap was even wider than ever before. Even with all the God Beasts awakening, it was hard to pick out a combination that could possibly be more powerful than that.
But then it happened.
Kalem had been infuriated that they had been called out so early. But when he saw what was going on, the fury he had set aside seed to vanish into thin air... And then his own aura erupted.
However, it wasn't just two. It was three.
The aura of a Saber King roared. The feeling was so very familiar and yet unfamiliar at the sa ti. Kalem didn't know what to make of it until the Ape King Spirit within him roared in greeting.
His hair beca akin to a black mane, dancing wildly as his montum only continued to build with every passing second. And then it was like a dam broke, the flood waters pouring out in waves as the call of a Vulture pealed across the skies.
Three beasts swirled within a single body and Kalem gasped, feeling like he was finally experiencing the call of real air for the first ti. It was like he had been blind for so many years and could finally see, a blockage in his throat finally dislodging.
His breakthrough was so overwhelming that it eclipsed that of many others happening at once, including that of his own sister who awakened the Saber King and silently the Whale King.
In the midst of it all, Keyesen stood with strength and confidence. He gazed around with a smile on his face, knowing that his ti would co if that of others had also co.

Of everyone here, he had been the very closest to success. Before the Demi-God change, he had already had a good chance to beco a God Beast, let alone now.
In fact, he had been fairly confident that with only a day or two more, he would have been able to grasp it.
But he would be different from these fools. They were awakening so many potentially incompatible combinations.
But he... he would be the purest of them all. The strongest Scorpion to ever exist.
