Now even he, a powerful and mighty transcendent swordsman, is feeling the hidden sharp edge around Apollo. Before, he could feel his strength, but now he couldn’t gauge it at all.

It was the sa feeling he had only when he faced soone at his level, but how can soone change this much in just a decade?

Impossible...

Ten years ago, Apollo had rely been a true god. Breaking into the Eternal God Realm alone would have been an extraordinary miracle—yet now, the pressure he radiated was unfathomable.

The old man took a slow breath, suppressing the turmoil in his heart.

So this was why.

So this was the reason the Lord had personally ordered Apollo to join the highest command.

The doubts he had once harboured finally dissolved.

"Follow ," the old man said again, this ti with unmistakable gravity.

Apollo nodded lightly.

They moved through the space and arrived at an ancient-looking sanctuary. The entire place didn’t have any guard or anything else, like anyone can co here, but he knew that was just outer appearance.

Because even with his current strength after a decade of improvent, he felt unknown danger hidden here.

Like if he tried anything, he would end instantly.

Just as they were about to step forward, space beside them rippled violently.

Rip—

A spatial tear split open, sharp and clean.

Three figures erged slowly from within.

The mont they appeared, the surrounding space seed to sink under their presence. The laws themselves bent, unwilling to remain rigid before such existences.

All three were transcendent beings.

Their auras were vast, oppressive, and profound—far beyond ordinary comprehension.

Two of them were middle-aged n, their expressions calm yet cold, sword rules coiled tightly within their bodies like restrained divine beasts.

The third—

A mature woman stepped forward, her figure graceful yet commanding.

She was stunning, but beauty was the least remarkable thing about her.

Her presence was sharp.

So sharp that even space near her seed to carry faint cuts, as though invisible sword edges were constantly forming and dispersing around her. Her gaze alone felt capable of severing fate itself.

Apollo’s pupils contracted slightly.

She was clearly the strongest here, and even her strength might be close to the supre level. No matter what, she was clearly a big shot.

"Hmm." The three of them noticed them. They noticed the old transcendent and nodded to him, but when they glanced at Apollo, they were surprised.

The two middle-aged n narrowed their eyes subtly, their sword rules stirring as though reacting to sothing unfamiliar yet dangerous.

The woman’s reaction was far more pronounced.

Her sharp gaze lingered on Apollo for a fraction longer than necessary, as if trying to peel him apart layer by layer. For the briefest mont, the invisible sword edges around her slowed—then sharpened again.

Interest.

Pure, unmistakable interest.

"Who is he, Nexus?" Her voice was calm and composed, yet carried a natural authority that made the surrounding space tremble faintly.

The old transcendent—Nexus—paused for half a breath.

Even now, he had not fully adjusted to Apollo’s presence.

"He is the one Sovereign summoned," Nexus replied respectfully.

"Oh, Sovereign himself called." This shocked them even more, as Sovereign is soone even they, who are high and almighty transcendents who have ruled the heaven and earth for hundreds of thousands of years, haven’t been able to et directly.

And yet—

This young man had been summoned personally.

The mature woman’s gaze sharpened, no longer casual in the slightest.

"So that’s how it is..." she murmured.

They looked at Apollo again, but this ti the weight behind their scrutiny was entirely different.

They could tell.

No matter how strange or dangerous his presence felt, Apollo had not yet stepped into the Transcendent Realm. His cultivation fluctuations were still firmly below that threshold.

And yet—

There was sothing deeply unsettling about him.

A pressure that did not belong to cultivation alone. A sharpness that felt... incomplete, yet terrifying.

It was like staring at an ethereal sword that had not been fully drawn—one that promised devastation once unsheathed.

"To be noticed by the Sovereign before even becoming transcendent..." one of them muttered quietly.

The woman’s lips curved slightly, her eyes gleaming with a dangerous light. But she didn’t say or do anything else.

"Hello, seniors." Apollo calmly greeted them, to which the three nodded; usually, they might not even care, but after knowing Sovereign was interested in him, they naturally had to show respect.

After this they calmly went inside as he quietly followed them.

The interior revealed itself as an enormous auditorium, vast beyond expectation—its structure resembling the ancient parliants of old worlds. Thousands of seats were arranged in a grand circular pattern, layered upward like ripples spreading from a single centre.

Each seat radiated a faint yet profound aura, clearly designed for beings far beyond ordinary existence. So were calm and ancient, others sharp and domineering, and a few carried pressure so heavy that even with Apollo’s improved strength he still felt a subtle tightening in his chest.

On those ancient seats terrifying beings were sitting. Even the weakest among them were at least in the transcendent realm.

aning right now there are about ten thousand transcendent beings sitting here.

Towards the centre, real strong beings were sitting, as their presence seed to be completely different, like they were in a different dinsion.

They were just sitting, but just looking at them, he felt his soul seed to be torn. It was the case with him; for any other eternal god, a single glance at them might make them lose their mind, becoming an idiot imdiately, or even die instantly.

There were not many such beings.

Only a few hundred at most.

But Apollo understood what that ant.

These were the Supre Realm powerhouses—the true pillars of the Empyrean Sword Realm, the beings who stood at the very summit of existence.

And then, at the absolute centre of the grand auditorium, were three empty seats.

They did not radiate pressure.

They did not emit an aura.

They were not mysterious, profound, or overwhelming.

Instead... they felt too ordinary.

So ordinary that they stood out more than everything else in the hall.
