Among them the one standing tallest was naturally the Sword Sovereign, as he appeared to be a bit different from all the sovereigns present here, whether they were from the abyss or the Empyrean Sword realm.
His aura was too calm and still, yet all of them can tell he was the most terrifying one here.
"Sword Sovereign… you truly live up to your na," said the shadowy Abyssal Sovereign—the apparent leader of the Abyssal forces that attacked, his voice far more serious than before as his gaze locked onto the Sword Sovereign.
The abyssal sovereign was called Shadow Sovereign and was a very ancient sovereign from the abyss, even older than the three sovereigns of the Empyrean Sword realm.
But being ancient doesn't an he was the strongest here, as the terrifying one was the Sword Sovereign, who is actually the youngest among the sovereigns here and yet possesses terrifying strength and can be called an anomaly, an alien even among the best geniuses in the countless dinsions.
"Shadow Sovereign," the Sword Sovereign said calmly, his gaze steady, "you know you cannot defeat . Yet you still ca. That ans you possess sothing that gave you the courage to face ."
A faint pause followed.
"Co. Bring it out. There is no aning in delaying."
Though he clearly saw through the Shadow Sovereign's intentions, his confidence never wavered. He stood there like a true emperor—one worthy of the title Sword Sovereign, a man who had never known fear nor taken a single step back throughout his life.
"Tch, you seed confident. Let's see first if you are worth using that." Saying this, Shadow's sovereign aura burst, and he finally made his move.
"Shadow dinsion".
As he roared, the infinite void seed to be swallowed by pitch-black shadow, with terrifying darkness covering all of them.
Slowly, shadows began to stir.
From the darkness, millions of shadow soldiers erged, each radiating dreadful power. Among them were hundreds whose strength rivalled Supres, and seven whose auras surpassed the Supre level—beings standing on the very brink of Sovereignty.
Standing alone, the Shadow Sovereign had raised an entire army, as though he alone were enough to invade a realm. It was a display of absolute domination—proof that he could face the world by himself.
Seeing the expression of the other two sovereigns from the Empyrean Sword Realm beco grave, but seeing the serene expression of the Sword Sovereign, they cald down.
Sword Sovereign smiled and calmly stepped, and in an instant he crossed a thousand miles and appeared right in front of the shadow army.
"Why waste your strength? It didn't matter if you increased the number, as all it takes is a single strike."
He didn't take out a sword or anything, as at their current level, most weapons had beco aningless.
He simply lifted his hand—and swung, as though wielding an invisible blade.

The Shadow Dinsion was cleaved in two.
In a single instant, the millions-strong shadow army—an army capable of challenging the entire Empyrean Sword Realm—was completely erased. Even the seven shadow beings whose power approached Sovereigns – seven of them combined could have battled newly ascended Sovereigns – were annihilated without the slightest chance to resist.
They did not fight.
They did not scream.
They simply ceased to exist.
This shocked all of them, whether it was the abyssal side or the two sovereigns from the Empyrean Sword realm, as neither of them could expect he had reached such heights.
The shadow sovereign was the one who was most shocked, as he knew how strong the shadows that he summoned were and possessed the immortality. But the Sword's sovereign strength seed to have surpassed his level.
"You have reached the eighth order!!!"
Shadow Sovereign was shocked, as he didn't want Sword Sovereign to reach the next step.
It might have sounded like a single step, but after reaching the Seventh Order and becoming a Sovereign, every advancent was earth-shattering. In countless dinsions, the total number of Sovereigns did not exceed a few hundred—and even among them, nine out of ten were rely Seventh-Order Sovereigns.
Only the very best could ever step into the Eighth Order.
And now, standing before them, was the Sword Sovereign—the youngest among all present—who had already reached that realm.
"Damn it, how can you reach eight orders this quickly?" He was shocked; as a sovereign of Abyss, his talent is undoubtedly one of the best, yet he still remained at the seventh order even after tens of billions of years, but now he saw soone who is many tis younger than him achieve what he couldn't.
"Good… good," he muttered, laughter tinged with madness. "As expected of the genius hailed as the greatest swordsman of the Thirty-Three Heavens. But you still must die—even if you have reached this level."
His sanity finally fractured.
From his chest, a black-and-crimson heart forced its way out, beating violently as though alive. Shadows scread as they clung to it, while blood-red light pulsed through the void.
The Shadow Sovereign knelt, his voice turning reverent and crazed.
"I offer the Heart of Shadows. Great One of the Darkness—grant power!"
Sword Sovereign expressed change a bit, and although he was confident in his strength, he wouldn't be stupid enough to let his enemy power up right in front of him.
Without hesitation, he struck.
A calm, effortless slash descended toward the Shadow Sovereign, intent on ending the ritual before it could begin.
But at that instant, the other two Abyssal Sovereigns moved.
Their figures tore through the void and appeared directly before the Shadow Sovereign, forming a living barrier between him and the attack.
BOOM—!
The slash collided with their combined power, the impact detonating like the birth of a star. The void shattered, torrents of chaotic energy flooding outward as even the darkness itself was blown apart.
As the void cald down, the two abyss sovereigns were still standing, although their aura seed to have diminished a lot, but they seed to have protected the shadow sovereign, who seed to have completed the ritual.
