Tyler’s sharp eyes swept over Lana before settling on Christina, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "I see that an interesting conversation is going on and decided to take part in it."
"Oh?" Christina looked unimpressed. "It is still 10 minutes before your lecture, Mr. Tyler. I don’t understand why you have arrived so early for the classes."
"Miss Christina is as funny as before. Whose eyes of your eyes have ever seen being late?" Tyler looked as if he was teasing Christina for fun, but the invisible undercurrent didn’t go unnoticed by Lana.
Lana sighed. If at this point she didn’t understand the teacher’s eagerness, she would be a fool.
So, interrupting their conversation, she gave a light cough and stated, "I will present it then."
In an instant, both Tyler and Christina stared at Lana with a serious gaze, forgetting their banter.
Lana’s index finger glowed with a golden ray before yellow-colored mystic energy ca into view of Tyler and Christina, making both of them open their mouths in awe, as if they were seeing a dragon.
’Country bumpkins!’ Mr. Crow snorted. He would never accept that he was feeling insecure and worried.
Lana might not know the worth of the yellow-colored mystic rank, but how can he not know it? Once Lana showcased her mystic energy in the secret realms, it was only a matter of ti before many beasts would rush to make a contract with her.
At that ti, he, with his powers still locked and limited knowledge, would be looked down upon, and there was also a high chance that, midway, even Lana might start to feel that he wasn’t worth it.

"Mr. Crow! That is bad manners." Lana chided him.
"What? Already siding with them? Did they find a good beast for you to make a contract with, and now you want to be on their good side, huh?" Mr. Crow snarled, looking very much like a wife whose husband was about to cheat on her.
Lana paused just for a brief mont before she laughed softly, "You are overthinking, Mr. Crow."
Mr. Crow remained silent, even with Lana’s assurance... he was filled with insecurity. But he quickly masked it, because he knew... showing insecurity would only make him look vulnerable.
anwhile, Tyler stared at Lana’s finger like he was seeing his grandma and took out a phone to snap a picture. Christina even took a selfie, making Lana feel as if everything was absurd.
She heard Christina say, "Lana, from now on just do your assignnt honestly; even if you don’t turn in your assignnt result or docunts, I will give you full marks."
Tyler was even more sharp than her: "Just show up in my classroom occasionally; I won’t even ask for you to do the assignnt!"
Lana suddenly felt that her heart was worth it!
Exemption from the university assignnt of two subjects was like heaven’s rcy on her!
She imdiately thought of the talismans she had prepared for her teacher and took out 10 Basic Exorcism talismans, handing them to both teachers.
"I know this isn’t much, but I have recently befriended a talisman practitioner friend, and she had given these as gifts. Just take it as a gift for your guidance."
Contrary to her expectation of the graceful nod or polite decline, she saw both Christina and Tyler tearing up.

The next second, she heard Tyler’s sniffling voice as he whispered, "No one has ever been so good to !"
"Lana, dear! You are an angel! But we would have to decline your gift." Christina sounded reluctant and sobbed.
Lana was speechless before she said calmly, "I have prepared for another professor too; if you don’t take it, then I would have to hand others more."

Both of them moved swiftly and took away the talismans in Lana’s hand.
"Since you are insisting so much, we’ll reluctantly accept them," Christina said solemnly, clutching the talismans as if they were priceless heirlooms rather than thin slips of paper.
Tyler nodded just as seriously, already tucking his share into an inner pocket of his coat, right over his heart. "Yes. Reluctantly," he echoed, wiping the corner of his eye. "For academic... research purposes."
Lana stared at the two of them. For a mont, she genuinely wondered if she had accidentally stepped into so kind of parallel universe.
’Isn’t this reaction a little... exaggerated?’ She thought, then promptly dismissed it. ’Maybe exorcism talismans are really rare here.’
Mr. Crow snorted loudly in her mind. ’Rare? These two would probably kneel and call you an Ancestor if you handed them more.’
"Lana, in the future, if you have more of these, co and sell them to , alright? I will give you $100,000 for each!" Christina interrupted their inner monologue.
"I’m willing to go higher," Tyler added imdiately, his previously gentle tone turning sharp with competitiveness. "One hundred and twenty thousand. Cash."
Christina shot him an incredulous glare. "Mr. Tyler, are you trying to steal my talisman right in front of ?"
Tyler didn’t even blink. "Academic freedom."
Lana’s mouth opened... then closed again.
For the first ti in a long while, her brain short-circuited.
’Wait,’ she thought faintly. ’Did they just start bidding?’
"P-Please calm down," Lana said hastily, raising both hands. "You both don’t have to fight, I..."
"No dear, we can’t take things for free from you!" Christina said, and Tyler nodded along, making Mr. Crow choke up on laughter.
