Lana frowned again.
In her previous life, she had never known that Lucian’s uncle was behind this.
She had never understood how Lucian’s uncle managed to establish contact with Bloodspire Mountain in the first place.
But now everything made sense.
’So this is why it happened...’
Axel continued speaking, his voice calr now.
"Lucian has already started rebelling against his uncle. To make sure his uncle doesn’t target you, we even shifted his attention sowhere else."
He paused before adding gravely,
"But recently Lucian noticed sothing troubling. From the mont the information about arrays surfaced, his uncle began reevaluating all of Lucian’s weaknesses."
Axel’s gaze hardened slightly.
"That ans he may soon focus his attention back on Xila City and start looking for any weaknesses connected to Lucian."
He looked directly at her.
"It would be better if you stay inside the house for the next two days... or even up to a week."
Lana sighed softly.
Now she finally understood why Lucian had spoken those strange words in her dream.
Taking a slow breath, she nodded. "I understand."
Then she paused, hesitating slightly before looking back at Axel.
"What if... a person’s consciousness ets soone repeatedly in dreams?"
Axel raised an eyebrow.
Lana continued slowly,
"What if that person starts behaving extrely real... just like an actual person? And what if that person even warns about dangers that will happen in the future?"
She hesitated for a mont.
"Is it possible that the other person has the ability to enter the first person’s mind?"
Axel imdiately shook his head. "Logically, that shouldn’t be possible."
He folded his arms and continued calmly.
"Other than Dream Wardens, such an ability has never been granted to anyone. If sothing like that were truly possible, then countless dreams could be invaded."
He sighed faintly.
"And even Dream Wardens cannot remain inside soone’s dream for long."
Hearing those words, Lana quietly exhaled. ’So I really was overthinking it...’
Even in her previous life, she had never heard of soone entering another person’s dream and acting so vividly real.
But sothing still bothered her.
’Then why did the dream Lucian warn about sothing that Uncle was about to warn about?’
As she gently massaged her temples, Axel suddenly spoke with concern.
"Are you having a headache?"
Lana shook her head lightly. "It’s nothing."
Then she looked at him again.
"There is so news I wanted to share."
With that, she began explaining everything about the Hedge city and the land she had purchased.
The mont Axel understood what she ant, he hesitated briefly.
However, after making a few calls and using so of his connections, he also managed to purchase one hundred acres of land.
When Lana heard about this, she felt slightly upset.
She had spent a great deal of effort before she was finally allowed to buy land there.
Yet her uncle and Naina were able to acquire land so easily.
Taking a breath, she looked at him. "So you can just buy land there whenever you want?"
Axel chuckled softly. "What kind of strange thought are you having?"
He waved his hand casually.
"I have helped many people over the years. When I asked for a small favor in return, they simply agreed."
Hearing that explanation, Lana slowly nodded.
For the next two days, she remained inside the mansion and did not leave Lucian’s estate.
During that ti, she learned that Lucian’s uncle had almost reached the entrance of the villa and even demanded to inspect it.
Fortunately, the guards stopped him.
Lucian himself had issued a clear warning.
"If you continue showing this kind of cockroach-like behavior, I will expose everything publicly."
After that confrontation, Lucian’s uncle finally backed down.
When Lana heard this, she released a long breath of relief.
However, beneath that relief, a deep hatred slowly burned within her heart.
Even in her previous life, Lucian’s uncle had joined forces with others to kill Lucian.
And in this life, he was still interfering with him.
"What a disgusting parasite..."
Her fingers tightened slightly.
"If I ever get the chance, I will definitely teach him a proper lesson."
Although Lucian and Axel had only asked her to stay ho for a few days, Lana decided to extend her stay to an entire week.
During that ti, she attended online lectures, cultivated diligently, and spent long hours crafting talismans.
Her days beca so full that she barely had any ti left to even think about going outside.
She also saw a surge in the sales of her talisman, reaching approximately $700 million!
After a week passed, instead of returning to the university imdiately, she decided to take another week off.
This ti, she planned to visit the Hedge City.
There was no urgent reason behind it.
She simply wanted to see how the city was developing... and whether it required any assistance.
In her previous life, the Hedge City had overco many devastating crises thanks to the support of a powerful investor.
But in this life, that investor did not exist.
Which ant that if the city faced those sa problems again...
There would be no one to save it.
Lana slowly looked out the window as sunlight spilled across the distant skyline.
’If that support does not exist in this life...’
Her eyes narrowed with quiet determination.
’Then I will beco that support.’
On the way, Lana chose not to use public transportation and instead decided to travel in her private vehicle.
It was not because she was overconfident about her ability to deal with ghosts or dangers along the road.
The real reason was much simpler.
Hedge City was not yet a proper city.
There was no train station that connected directly to it, and even the nearby transport routes were poorly organized.
Lana had tried several tis to get a ticket through the limited transit channels that existed, but every attempt ended in failure.
’So troubleso...’
In the end, she could only grit her teeth and rely on a private vehicle.
