Neither of them thought he was lying.

If anything... this only ant sothing had been overlooked.

Sothing important.

Monica leaned closer, her voice tense. "What does the mirror do?"

At that question...sothing snapped.

Vicky’s body suddenly trembled violently. His breathing beca erratic as he clutched his head, shaking it desperately.

"No... no... no!"

His face twisted in pain and fear, veins standing out against his skin. He looked as if he wanted to die... yet at the sa ti, an intense hatred burned within his eyes.

Lana frowned imdiately. "This isn’t normal."

Without hesitation, she pulled out another talisman. A calming talisman.

The mont she placed it against his shoulder, a faint warmth spread through his body, like a gentle wave washing over chaos.

Gradually... Vicky’s trembling slowed. His breathing steadied. His eyes regained a trace of clarity.

He looked at Lana, his voice now eerily calm. "It’s the mirror."

He swallowed hard. "That mirror... It’s evil."

A shiver ran down Monica’s spine.

"It enjoys taking lives," he continued, his tone hollow yet filled with quiet dread. "It gives people hope... makes them think they can survive... and the mont they believe it... it kills them."

Lana leaned forward slightly. "Explain everything. From the beginning."

It took nearly twenty minutes.

Twenty minutes of fragnted mories, fear, and suppressed trauma.

By the end of it, Lana finally understood.

Vicky and his family had moved into a house in the suburbs.

That was where they found it. A brown mirror.

At first, it seed ordinary, just an antique piece with a faint, eerie elegance. Without much thought, they hung it in the living room.

Everything was normal until it wasn’t.

One day, Vicky’s brother beca unusually agitated.

"He kept saying the mirror was blocking the view," Vicky muttered. "That it was dangerous... that he didn’t want to see it."

His voice trembled slightly at the mory. Their parents didn’t take it seriously.

Instead, they moved the mirror into their own bedroom, his mother found it beautiful, almost srizing.

And that was when things began to change.

"They started arguing," Vicky continued, his eyes darkening. "More and more... every day."

The atmosphere in their ho turned toxic. His father eventually cheated. His mother ran away. Then things spiraled further.

"Won... he started bringing different won into the house," Vicky said, his voice turning cold. "And one day... one of them killed him."

"She tried to kill us, too," he added quietly. "My brother and I... we barely escaped."

Years passed. Ti dulled the pain but never erased it. When they grew older, the two brothers decided to return to that house.

"To take back our childhood items," Vicky said.

But the mont they entered...everything ca back. His brother saw the mirror again.

And sothing changed.

"He insisted we keep it," Vicky’s voice tightened. "He said it was the only thing left of our parents."

Lana’s eyes narrowed slightly. ’That doesn’t sound right...’

"I didn’t want to," Vicky admitted. "But he wouldn’t listen."

In the end, he gave in. They brought the mirror back to their rented apartnt.

And that’s when the real nightmare began.

"Strange things started happening," Vicky whispered.

His brother would stand in front of the mirror for hours.

Eating. Constantly eating.

From normal als to strange, disgusting combinations.

"And every ti... he looked at the reflection with disgust," Vicky said, his voice shaking faintly. "As if... he was watching soone else eat sothing rotten."

Lana felt a chill creep up her arms.

Concerned, his brother even sought help from a psychologist.

But by then... Vicky already knew. "The mirror wasn’t normal."

He tried everything. Breaking it.Throwing it away. But it always ca back. Always.

"It’s like it had its own will," he said, his eyes filled with lingering fear.

Eventually, desperation drove him to seek help from exorcists.

And then...that day ca.

"I brought a priest ho," Vicky continued, his voice dropping to a whisper.

"When we opened the door ..."

He paused. His throat tightened.

"The entire living room was dark."

When he stepped inside, the air felt wrong.

Vicky’s breath hitched. Then he saw it.

His brother stood in the middle of the room, his back slightly hunched, a knife trembling in his hand. In front of him...an old woman.

Her frail body shook as she stood there, unmoving, her cloudy eyes reflecting sothing unnatural.

Fear exploded inside Vicky.

"What are you doing?!" he shouted, rushing forward without thinking. "Stop!"

His heart pounded violently as he lunged toward his brother, grabbing his arm, trying to pull the knife away.

But the mont his brother turned around...everything changed.

His brother’s face was twisted, his eyes filled with sothing wild and unrecognizable. Without a word, he pushed Vicky back and swung at him.

The fight began instantly. There was no room for hesitation. No ti to think.

They struggled violently, crashing into furniture, knocking things over.

"I’m trying to stop you!" Vicky shouted, panic lacing his voice.

But his brother didn’t respond.

It was as if he couldn’t hear him at all.

Left with no choice, Vicky fought back, his movents desperate and uncoordinated. The knife glinted dangerously between them...

And then a single mistake. A single mont. The blade sank in. Everything went still.

Vicky froze.

His eyes widened as he stared at his brother, whose body slowly went limp in his arms. The knife slipped from his trembling fingers, clattering loudly against the floor.

"No... no... no..."

His voice broke.

His hands shook uncontrollably as he stepped back, horror flooding his entire being.

He turned frantically toward the priest. "Help him! Please... help him!"

But the priest... was pale. Completely pale.

His lips trembled, his eyes filled with fear... not at the scene, but at Vicky.

It was only later, after the police arrived and Vicky was arrested, that the truth shattered him completely.

The priest had told them everything.

"You were the one who attacked first," the priest had said, his voice unsteady. "Your brother... he was trying to stop you. He kept shouting for you to wake up... but you didn’t listen."

......................................

Back in the prison cell, silence settled heavily.

Lana narrowed her eyes, her expression turning cold.
