Two rifts finally tore open the long night.
Two distinct, separate rays of light.
One was a pure, slightly scorching white light. The other was a warm, golden radiance like molten gold.
Two suns rose from different points on the horizon.
"Twin suns..."
Raylo walked out of the cave entrance, murmuring to himself.
[Daily Intelligence Refreshed]
[1: You have arrived in the "Giant Dragon Realm." This place has twin suns. Day and night each last for twenty-four standard hours. It is currently dayti.]
[2: Your current location is the edge of the "Endless Forest Sea." Deep within the forest, a World Destruction Level Space Giant Dragon lies dormant. It has slept here for three thousand years. Coal Ball’s birth was the result of the Power that dissipated from it during its slumber.]
[3: Within a three-thousand-kiloter radius of this location is a Heaven-Reaching Divine Wood. The Lord of this land is the Jade Dragon Emperor, a Tier Six Catastrophe Level Magical Beast and an Ancient Dragon Species, who wields Life and Nature Magic at the pinnacle of mastery. The Heaven-Reaching Divine Wood is bearing its first batch of fruit in its long life. This fruit, called Divine Wood Fruit, contains a massive amount of Life Essence absorbed by the Divine Wood. Consuming it can not only heal fatal injuries but also drastically accelerate a Magical Beast’s growth. The Life Essence it contains is enough to allow a Young Dragon to grow to the Domain Level.]
[4: Southwest of the Endless Forest Sea lies a vast desert known as the Sighing Wilderness. The environnt is harsh, and spatial storms are frequent.]
[5: A species of Tier Five Magical Beast called the "Wind God Winged Dragon" lives in this forest. They are extrely strong fliers with brutal temperants, serving as the region’s apex predators and the vanguard of the Jade Dragon Emperor’s forces.]
[6: The Eternal Giant Turtle’s territory is constantly expanding. It has already incorporated a hundred-kiloter stretch of the Black Water River that flows through the Jade Swamp into its domain. The Eternal Giant Turtle is manipulating the water flow, cutting off the moisture seeping into the Jade Swamp. Without the nourishing waters of the Black Water River, the swamps along its banks are slowly showing signs of drying up. To protect their habitat, the inhabitants of the Jade Swamp will once again launch a war to subjugate the Eternal Giant Turtle.]
[7: Three thousand kiloters west of the Endless Forest Sea, in the "Roaring Volcano Group," lives a clutch of over a dozen Red Dragons. Red Dragons are ill-tempered and extrely territorial. They are currently in their nesting season.]
[8: The deepest part of the Endless Forest Sea is called "Moonfall Land." A thousand years ago, a war Beyond the Heavens broke out. The White Moon, ho to the Silver Dragon Race, crumbled and fell. Fragnts of the "White Moon Remains" are scattered here. A few surviving Silver Dragons fell into the Endless Forest Sea along with the shattered White Moon. They now wander the Giant Dragon Realm, searching for a way to restore the White Moon.]
[9: The Giant Beast that passed through the Endless Forest Sea last night was a "Primordial Ancient Beast," a Catastrophe Level existence with no fixed territory. It migrates, following the Elental Tides. Its temperant is gentle; as long as it is not provoked, it has no interest in clearing away the "insects" at its feet.]
[10: Angmar Duke of the Saint Violet Empire will personally arrive at Thunder Dragon City in three days. He is coming for his nephew, Eliot, and the captive "Thorns," Graves. Angmar Duke is a Tier Six Catastrophe Level expert, accompanied by two Domain Level subordinates.]
Daybreak arrived.
The light dispelled the darkness but not the danger.
The roars in the distance didn’t stop. In fact, they grew even clearer.
Shadows cast by massive birds flitted rapidly through the forest, while colossal beasts crashed through the trees, creating a deafening racket.
There wasn’t a mont of peace.
Sun also poked his enormous head out of the cave. His golden draconic eyes reflected the two alien suns in the sky, his expression complex.
"It seems we’ve co to quite a place,"
Sun spoke in a deep, rumbling voice.
Raylo withdrew his gaze, ticulously digesting the imnse stream of information in his mind.
Each piece of intelligence was like a giant boulder thrown into a calm lake, stirring up monstrous waves.
The Giant Dragon Realm, the twin suns, the Endless Forest Sea...
The outline of this world rapidly took shape in his mind—magnificent, ancient, and fraught with peril.
His gaze finally fell on a spot not far away.
Moonlight was basking in the glow of the two morning suns, its posture relaxed, completely unconcerned by its surroundings.
’White Moon Remains...’ Raylo repeated the words in his mind.
’So its ho was a fallen moon.’
’A war a thousand years ago, a ho that fell from Beyond the Heavens, a displaced people.’
He turned his gaze to the side.
Coal Ball was dozing next to Moonlight, apparently not fully awake yet.
’Ford from the Power that dissipated from a sleeping World Destruction Level Space Giant Dragon...’
He looked at the Young Dragon before him, not even as tall as his calf, as goofy-looking as a mascot. He simply couldn’t connect it with the term "World Destruction."
This little guy’s greatest hobbies, aside from eating and hoarding, were to trail behind Moonlight like a little brother. Nothing about him seed remotely terrifying.
This ant Coal Ball’s potential was far more terrifying than he had ever imagined.
"ROAR..."
Sun’s low growl interrupted Raylo’s thoughts. His enormous head turned toward Raylo, and for the first ti, his golden draconic eyes held a distinctly grave expression.
"Raylo, this place is too dangerous. There’s more than one Catastrophe Level existence. We..."
He didn’t finish, but his aning was clear.
The Primordial Ancient Beast that had rely passed by last night and the Lord of this forest sea, the Jade Dragon Emperor, were both terrifying Catastrophe Level existences.
"I understand."
Raylo nodded.
’The Heaven-Reaching Divine Wood, the Divine Wood Fruit.’
’A single one is enough for a Young Dragon to reach the Domain Level.’
It was an irresistible temptation.
Whether it was Moonlight or Coal Ball, if either could reach the Domain Level, it would be an imnse help to him.
But he also knew that trying to snatch the fruit from the grasp of a Tier Six Catastrophe Level Ancient Dragon Species was no different from pulling teeth from a tiger’s mouth.
Moreover, the last piece of intelligence was like a bucket of cold water dumped over his head.
Angmar Duke of the Saint Violet Empire, arriving in person in three days.
A Tier Six Catastrophe Level expert was about to descend upon Thunder Dragon City.
"Looks like we need to head back first," Raylo decided.
Then, he turned to Coal Ball.
"Coal Ball," Raylo said, his tone teasing. "Ti to get to work."
Coal Ball lifted its head, its glossy black eyes blinking as if it didn’t understand.
Raylo pointed to the stone wall they had co through.
"Ho."
Coal Ball imdiately understood. It waddled over to the stone wall, its tiny body looking particularly comical. It tilted its head back, faced the hard rock, and opened its mouth.
There was no earth-shattering commotion, nor any dazzling, brilliant light.
A tiny, pitch-black rift widened on the stone wall.
Space tore with a faint, grating "ZZZZT" sound that set one’s teeth on edge.
"Let’s go."
Raylo took the lead, stepping into the spatial rift.
The familiar air, the familiar fluctuations of Magic Power, the familiar scenery.
A single step separated two worlds.
Behind him, Sun’s massive body squeezed through, and Moonlight transford into a silver streak, landing on Raylo’s shoulder.
Finally, Coal Ball took a step out. The spatial rift behind it closed rapidly, and the stone wall returned to its original state, as if nothing had ever happened.
