Just then, Moonlight stirred slightly in his arms. A pair of pale golden eyes gazed at him with concern.
A jolt went through Raylo’s heart as a bold idea surfaced in his mind.

Raylo’s voice was urgent.
"Can you create a clone of Sun?"

On the ground, Kado and Gordo were in grave danger.
The Wind God Winged Dragon King dove and swiped its claws repeatedly. Each attack grazed the two Giants’ bodies, sending large sprays of blood into the air.
The wounds on the two Giants multiplied, and they ran slower and slower.
In this life-or-death chase, thirty seconds felt like a century.
Gordo was struck in the back by the sharp claws again. His massive body staggered, and he crashed heavily to the ground.
A flicker of cruel delight flashed in the Wind God Winged Dragon King’s eyes. It let out a triumphant shriek, tucked its wings, and plumted from the sky like a green teorite, its sharp beak aid straight for Gordo’s head!
"No!"
Kado, his eyes wide with fury, drew the javelin from his back and hurled it at the Wind God Winged Dragon King’s massive eye.
Raylo’s pupils contracted to pinpricks.
The Wind God Winged Dragon King abandoned its attack, batting away the incoming javelin with a fierce gust of wind from its wing mbranes.
Kado raised his Wolf Fang Club high, no longer intending to flee. He was ready to fight the powerful Domain Level Peak Magical Beast to the death, right here and now.
Gordo also got to his feet, standing with him to face the mighty foe.
At that very mont, a clear, resounding dragon’s roar suddenly echoed between heaven and earth!
"ROOOAR!"
The roar was identical to Sun’s.
High in the sky, beside the Golden Dragon Sun, endless light gathered frantically as a massive golden silhouette took shape at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Another Hundred-ter Golden Dragon!
This newly appeared Golden Dragon was identical to the real Sun in its size, its aura, and the imnse Dragon Mighty it exuded.
The mont it appeared, it beat its wings. Its massive body transford into an even more dazzling streak of golden light, fearlessly intercepting the diving Wind God Winged Dragon King.
BOOM!
Gold and green, the two behemoths collided violently in midair.
Unexpectedly, the Golden Dragon clone was not shattered on impact.
Relying on the powerful defense the Golden Dragon clan prided itself on, it forcefully blocked the Wind God Winged Dragon King.
Although its golden light dimd for a mont upon impact, the clone roared and lunged forward again. Its claws and Dragon Tail shot out, latching onto the Wind God Winged Dragon King and holding it fast in midair.
"Go!"
Raylo yelled from the dragon’s back.
Down on the ground, Kado and Gordo were dumbfounded.
’Two Golden Dragons?’
But their survival instincts kicked in imdiately. Their earlier resolve to fight to the death vanished, and Kado and Gordo scrambled desperately toward Raylo.
Just then, the five other Wind God Winged Dragons finally arrived on the horizon.
Seeing their leader entangled with a Golden Dragon, they let out furious roars, sward forward, and began to frantically tear and bite at the Golden Dragon clone.
Though valiant, the Golden Dragon clone was outnumbered and, ultimately, just an Illusion made of Magic Power.
Under the combined assault of the six Wind God Winged Dragons, the golden light on its body faded at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Yet it continued to follow its orders, fighting to the death without retreating to buy precious ti for Raylo and the others.
Finally, with an indignant roar, the clone’s chest was pierced by the Wind God Winged Dragon King’s claw. Its entire body exploded, dissolving into a shower of golden motes of light that vanished into the air.
By this point, Raylo and the others had fled more than ten kiloters, and the distinct sound of water could be heard up ahead.
They had reached the Canglan River!
The wide river surface shimred under the setting sun. On the sandy bank, the huge wooden raft they had arrived on was still sitting quietly where they had left it.
"Hurry!"
Kado and Gordo rushed to the riverbank, worked together to push the massive raft into the water, and then leaped aboard. Grabbing the huge planks that served as oars, they began to paddle with all their might.
Propelled by the two Giants’ Divine Power, the raft shot forward like an arrow loosed from a bow, speeding toward the opposite bank.
Raylo, riding the Golden Dragon Sun, circled above the raft.
He glanced back, and the knot of anxiety in his chest, which had only just begun to loosen, tightened once more.
On the distant horizon, six black dots had reappeared and were approaching at an astonishing speed.
The Wind God Winged Dragon King’s shriek seed to pierce the vast distance, ringing in their ears as if it were right beside them.
The raft kicked up white spray as Kado and Gordo’s muscles bulged, paddling with every last ounce of their strength.
But how could the raft’s speed possibly compare to that of the sky’s overlords?
As he watched the deadly green lightning draw ever closer, Raylo’s heart sank.
A piercing shriek tore through the air. The shadow of death clung to them, inescapable.
